The area around Funabashi Station is the largest downtown area between Narita Airport and Tokyo. There are "Japan's largest DAISO", "Don Quixote", "Tobu Department Store", etc. There are many supermarkets, convenience stores, various shops, and delicious restaurants, which is very convenient. You can also enjoy a variety of experiences in each of the four seasons, including strawberry picking and the cherry blossom road in Ebegawa. Funabashi is the perfect location for you to experience Japanese life. I will give you a list of my recommended surrounding shops after booking. This Mimihaus Makuhari is located in a very convenient location, 1 minute from Keisei Makuhari Station and 4 minutes from JR Makuhari Station, between Narita and Tokyo. It is also about a 5-minute taxi ride from Kaihinmakuhari Station, where the limousine bus from Narita Airport arrives. There is also a large supermarket, Ito-Yokado, and Japan's largest shopping mall, Makuhari Seaside Park, which has a Japanese garden, making it very convenient to get to Makuhari Messe and Tokyo Disneyland. We also have two bicycles available for guests to use for strolling around Makuhari. Feel free to use them during your stay. (Please be sure to lock them to prevent theft) In addition, the room has a queen bed and a "kotatsu" (a low table in the summer), which is unique to Japan, where you can sit comfortably on the low sofa and watch TV or eat. It can accommodate up to 3 people because you can pull out the futon and sleep next to the kotatsu. (Please note that it will be quite cramped if you have a lot of luggage) You can enjoy a comfortable stay while experiencing a Japanese kotatsu (a tatami mat room heater, or a chabudai in the summer).

This room is a one-room apartment. Guests have exclusive use of a 7-tatami bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. The room has a double bed, table, chairs, and TV. Free WiFi is also available, so you can use it for remote work. The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine, fridge, microwave, electric pot, frying pan, pots, and dishes, so you can cook for yourself. The bathroom is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body shampoo, hair dryer, face towels, and bath towels. A convenience store (7-Eleven) is located just 4 minutes away on foot. We lend bicycles for free. The host also provides a taxi booking service for those who wish to use it. We're here to help you enjoy your trip to Japan!

Japanese culture and history have two centers. One was made by emperor and aristocracy mainly in Kyoto and Nara. The other was made by samurai group in Kanto,Tokyo Kanagawa Chiba and so on. Sakura is famous as the castle that produced many senior members of the Edo Tokugawa Shogunate. One more castle in Sakura is Motosakura-castle it was the residence of the Chiba clan, an influential samurai group in the Middle Ages. You can walk to Tokyo Disney Resort. It is about 15~20 minutes on foot to Maihama station, about 25~30 minutes walk to each gate of Tokyo Disney Land and Sea. The house is a 3F built house, the room to stay is on the 1F, it is a Japanese-style room that you can relax with the scent of wood. You can watch the fireworks show of DisneyLand at my house. Japanese style room on the 1st floor of our house, no smoking. The room can be locked. We only accept one group each day. 35min/580JPY from Narita Int'l Airport to Katsutadai station on Keisei line, no transfers. Then 3min walk from A1 south exit to our house. A lot of restaurants and shops around here. Microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle are availale. Toilet, washing machine, shower room are next to the guest room. The host family, and cats stay on the 2nd floor.
