We had such a lovely stay!! Check-in and communication were easy, and the host was very kind. We were especially grateful that they let us store our luggage before and after check-in/check-out.

This place is our new spiritual home, we absolutely loved it! The house is a 20 year project - beautifully crafted by the Kind-hearted artist Kazuki-San. We stayed in the knights room, perfectly equipped to cook and relax, with a magical view and wide balcony. There is a mezzanine, where you sleep, which is so comforting and fun to rest on. From the house, you can do some stunning hikes in the Hira mountain range, challenging but great for adventures. A train ride away is another fun hike to Yobai falls. There is also a local ceramics studio and Oberton, with great coffee. The most special thing though was Kazuki-San, who took the time to guide us to some local rural spots, we went to a sake factory, ate sakura mochi on the Otsu bridge, saw the oldest trade route in Japan and an exhibition studio with other local artists after which we enjoyed a lovely portion of Soba Noodles together. There is a special place in our hearts for this experience, we can’t wait to return and be reunited.

We had a wonderful time at Kazuki’s place! He was kind enough to pick us up from the train station when we arrived and drop us off when we left. He showed us around the town and lent us some bicycles to use for the weekend. The room was very clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had a microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, and electric kettle to use. We would love to stay there again if we’re ever in the area!

My stay at this airbnb was amazing. I had such a good stay that I extended my stay by two days. Kazuki is very helpful. He picked me up from the station and also dropped me off at the end of my stay. We got by with my little Japanese and Kazuki’s little bit of english. Kazuki drove me around all kinds of places, even a sake brewery! I was also able to borrow the bike that is available at the house to go to Lake Biwa. I had lots of fun and would recommend this place to anyone!

This is a wonderful place, I felt like home. Warm atmosphere, enough space, kind people, beautiful wood! I really enjoyed being there and felt comfortable. ありがとうございます🙏💕🌸

离黄金站还挺近的，大概步行不到5分钟。房子有点像家庭旅馆，步梯，房东姐姐很热情，中国人交流起来那真是一点压力没有了～周围很安静，稍稍的有一些偏僻。适合在市里玩儿完了回来住。

We had a lovely 1-night stay at this Airbnb in Nagoya. The room was exactly what we needed—simple, comfortable, and well worth what we paid. The shower was impressively clean, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space, including what looked like some handmade furniture that added charm and personality. Our host was absolutely the sweetest! After a long day of travel, being welcomed with fresh-picked berries and green tea was such a warm and refreshing gesture. She was also incredibly attentive, providing clear and detailed instructions for check-in and check-out, which made everything easy and stress-free. Would definitely recommend for a short stay in Nagoya!

I stayed here overnight in a trip to Nagoya—probably the best decision I made. I originally only planned for my trip to be a simple day trip, but reserved a room here since it was a bit late and I wasn’t feeling too good. The booking process was extremely simple and check-in times were flexible. Xiuhui was very communicative throughout the whole process and the directions she gave to the hotel were very simple to follow. Once I arrived, Xiuhui greeted me, gave me some tea, and guided me to my room. The room itself along with the bathroom were very clean, and multiple different bathroom products were provided. After about an hour there, however, I began feeling far more sick than I had before and wasn’t able to get much sleep. I asked Xiuhui if I was able to stay an extra hour in the morning to get some proper rest and recover a little, and she let me stay for multiple hours FREE OF CHARGE. Overall, an excellent stay with an extremely considerate host—I cannot recommend it enough.
