An old and lovely little small farm up the hills at Rognes. We were there when it was really cold and lots of snow, a little winding road in the winter but as long as you drive in a way, you'll be fine. We had some issues while we were there but Arnstein responded quickly to inquiries and was very quick to fix things. It was wood burning and even though the house was cold when we arrived, it was quickly heated. The location was quite alone and you got a real cabin feel to be there. No TV and internet, but good coverage. We had a great time and recommend the place if you want to get away from the hustle, bustle and relax with a good book.

Where do I start? This place has a special charm that is shaped by the history and age of the accommodation. Nevertheless, it offers all the amenities for a comfortable stay from a well-equipped kitchen to efficient heating. Although the heaters are electric, they keep the rooms warm and cozy. The place is incredibly spacious, and the location is perfect for walks or skiing right outside the door. In addition, the host is exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would have liked to have stayed longer, but due to a misunderstanding we had to leave earlier than planned. We definitely hope to come back. As I mentioned at the beginning, it's an old place – but that's exactly what gives it a unique, almost magical atmosphere.
