Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Midlands Province

My family and I had a lovely stay at Mulberry place. Sue is an excellent host, she respond to all our questions and was very reassuring prior to check in. We were initially apprehensive due to that it was our first time to book an Air BnB overseas, and on top of that we had a problem with payments coming out of our bank account. However, Sue was very helpful in supporting us resolve the issues. Mulberry place is also very secure, with an electric fence, cctv, alarm, and electric gate. There is a house keeper and a grounds man on site, in case you needed anything.

We really enjoyed the place, a private home to yourself with great security! The area is peaceful. We went for many walks around the neighborhood. The house itself was comfortable and nicely decorated. Did not need AC, the house stays cool and the fans at night were great! The host went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend.

Our party of four visited Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe for a family wedding, and were fortunate to find Msasa Guest house had availability to accommodate us. From booking to departure Wendy and her team made us very welcome. We reached the place in the dark, and after a very long journey from the UK we were delighted to be greeted by Wendy along with the dinner we had booked, which was delicious. The place is amazing, very comfortable and clean, with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits provided along with the bottles of water we had requested. We decided to use the barbecue on our quiet day and this was prepared and lit for us, and cleared away as well. We purchased food for this in the Village shop which is two minutes walk away. Breakfast was offered at $5 each, dinners were $10. During our stay nothing was too much trouble, everything we asked was dealt with in a friendly and timely manner. Karen's Bulawayo home is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated in an eclectic style. The kitchen had everyhing that you might need and more. The garden is a peaceful paradise with lots of birds. Her recommendation of Indian food from Kirti is a must. Vivian did our washing and ironing for us, which was a much appreciated. And to top it all off Karen was a super host always willing. to happily help with all our queries and questions. Thank you Karen for a very special place to stay.

Enjoyed our stay. Just perfect for a quick in and out . All necessary equipment available. clean and fresh linen. an extra tv would be a nice bonus.

We had a beautiful stay at the property, the host was responsive and helpful! Hilda and sekuru took wonderful care of us at the house and showed us around, offered us fresh lemons from the dress and made us feel like family. We would 110% recommend and would stay here again, it was a home away from home with well maintained facilities, good water source and solar power so we didn't even notice when the electricity had gone off. The place is easily locate-able and a good location to access town and routes out of Gweru. The wifi was excellent, good coverage. There was ample dining space, the kitchen was huge with a lot of fridge/freezer space. There were plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy as a family. The place was 100% secure, we had no issues with security and left having had no issues at all. Overall we had an amazing stay, thank you to the hosts for allowing us to stay at your property, we look forward to visiting again!!

What an incredible host. Mantsebo goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. I highly recommend them for people traveling from outside the country. You will be well taken care of. Clean and safe environment. Any unit that this host manages/owns, I highly recommend.

We had a great experience at Mzime’s place, we felt at home. The pictures don’t do justice to the place, it looks way better in person than the pictures. The place is very specious and comfortable which is what our family needed. It is clean and well maintained inside and outside. The beds were very comfortable and very clean, Mzime and her team went above and beyond to help us surprise our families who didn’t know we were coming. The memories that we made at Mzime’s place will stay with us for the rest of our lives and for that, we are very grateful! Uncle Ncube was very helpful and responded to our questions and needs very fast. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Chinhoyi. We booked this Airbnb last minute and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make us feel welcome. As a lovely bonus, they treated us to a free breakfast and a clean car, which was a perfect start to our day. The place was spotless, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. It truly felt like a home away from home—clean, cozy, and perfect for our stay. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at B-Zeela apartment. It is a centrally located place, where you have everything you need (the building is not the best, but is quiet and safe, and the apartment is clean and very well maintained), at a walking distance to everything: supermarkets, restaurants, city center. I can warmly recommend it to anyone.

She is the sweetest lady that I have come across in recent memory, she personifies the wise-cracking, deeply knowledgable mother. I will definitely be staying here on my next trip. 100%, top shelf!
