We stayed at the property in May, the garden is beautiful at this time of year, there was a lot of blooming wild garlic and all kinds of wild herbs. The trees were full of bloom. The garden is fantastic. For this reason alone, the accommodation is highly recommended.

We had beautiful days in the apartment. Multiple seats are available to enjoy the beautiful garden. Space, peace and the birds! the kitchen is well equipped. Norbert is very nice and helpful. toppie!

Great place to relax for a weekend. Everything you need was there. Excellent breakfast, served by Mick, at the time that proved useful for us. We walked at the Dwingelderveld and went to Museum De Proefkolonie. Interesting! Would be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful time at Joke's. The cottage is very nice, high-quality and cozy. Everything you need is there and the kitchen is also very well equipped. There was a small barbecue on the terrace that we could use. The garden is beautifully landscaped with many seating areas. Here you can enjoy the sun and the tranquility. The breakfast was very lovingly arranged, delicious and varied! Thank you for that! There are smaller towns and cities in the area. Groningen is only about 30 minutes away by car. We particularly liked the proximity to the Drentsche Aa National Park (about 20 minutes by car). There you can take short and long hikes in a beautiful landscape. We highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back :)

Super friendly host and a fantastic stay: it felt good and like home. But then with a sense of more freedom (large garden, no direct neighbours, open fields). Over-complete stay (actually thought of everything and in abundance). Highly recommended and if possible again!

If you are looking for an authentic accommodation in a beautiful environment, I can recommend this front house of Jettie and Matthijs. The cottage offers you privacy and every comfort (including washing machine, TV, microwave Nespresso machine). I have enjoyed it!!

We were able to enjoy the hospitality at this location for one night. Our goal was only an overnight stay because of the concert in Groningen and our travel time. However, the location is so nice it was unfortunate we couldn't stay longer. Definitely recommended for others to stay there for a few days or a week.

We felt right at home here. The space was spotless and had everything we needed. The sauna was a luxury to have during a rainy and windy weather. There are multiple national parks and towns in the vicinity where one can hike, kayak, and boat around the canals. We’d highly recommend this accommodation for couples.

We were visiting relatives and touring in the region and this was the ideal place to stay. It could not have been better - it's quiet and private in a beautiful rural setting with the friendliest hosts we have ever encountered. Thank you Harmen and Marjan!

The stay with Gerda is TOP, wonderfully quiet place with lots of space. The conservatory is a great extension of the stay which more than doubles the living space and the cozy decor makes you feel right at home. I really can't think of anything negative. A 10 with a griffel. Highly recommend.

Nice chalet and nice facilities at the campsite. There is also for the children during the holidays. We were on the road a lot because of our middle child who had a football tournament in Zwolle. Unfortunately, the weather was very good for approaching the plants, but for us to see the chalet well from inside.😊 Nice kitchen and also games available to play with each other. A very nice chalet with a nice campsite.

A nice, very modern, clean, cosy studio with all amenities you need and more. The studio has a full kitchen and stove, perfect fit table and comfortable chairs. I am impressed with the floorplan. The studio is equipped with everything you need and still feels spacious. Two adjacent doors at the front of the studio can be opened up all the way and gave the ability to enjoy a nice breakfast in the sun on a summerday. It was raining when we stayed here so we didn't open them up. The studio has a keybox but Aukje was home and warmly welcomed us. The beds are full size located under the roof; a cosy semi-open place to sleep. The matrasses provide great support. The bathroom and toilet are clean, comfortable and good. Things to consider (which Aukje mentioned upfront): the bedroom is accessible through a steep ladder. If you are afraid of heights or less mobile something to consider. The sloping roof asks attention for tall persons. Aukjes's place is perfect to stay and return to.

What a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Atmospheric accommodation with helpful, friendly hosts, Roland and Maaike. Hope for a little more sun next time, but they can't control that. The veranda is also great without sun, ideal.

Very quiet at night, very peaceful sleep, excellent coffee, greeted by chickens and a rooster in the morning.

Fantastic place! Wonderful natural/garden. Fantastic hostesses! Cozy cottage on the pool. Place to sit outside and a fire pit. Breakfast was good. Cottage clean, I think that's important to me. Centrum 5 min. Groningen 20 min. We had a good time.

We enjoyed our stay. We had a nice view, great weather. Spacious bedroom, with all comforts: washing machine, dishwasher, oven, freezer, dryer. Everything was also arranged for our family: camping beds, high chairs, sandbox... Glad you have until 11 to check out. Very friendly, reliable people!

We had a wonderful stay at Anneke’s place. The house exudes a Swedish charm and is well furnished with stunning surroundings. Anneke was very kind and caring, made us feel right at home. She gifted us her homemade apple pie and even a breakfast box filled with an assortment of breads! Thanks Anneke’s for warm hospitality and we have a good memories of our stay :)
