I recently stayed at Flaxman Valley Homestead, and it was an incredibly memorable and relaxing experience. The homestead itself is cozy, clean, and well-appointed, with thoughtful personal touches like fresh bread, robes, and a well-stocked kitchen. Pat & Kate were wonderful hosts, offering helpful local tips and making us feel right at home. One of the highlights for our family was spending time with the friendly animals on the property—there’s a llama, sheep, chickens, and even a cow! My daughter absolutely loved interacting with them. The setting is also incredibly peaceful, making it perfect for stargazing. We spent our evenings around the campfire, gazing at the clear night sky—it was truly magical. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape in the Barossa Valley with plenty of charm (and adorable animals), I highly recommend Flaxman Valley Homestead.

we had a wonderful stay at Vineyard Views. It exceeded expectations - Karl has thought of everything to make the place so comfortable and welcoming for guests. It is in a beautiful, private, peaceful setting, looking over the vineyard. We loved sitting outside sipping wine, eating cheese and watching the beautiful sunset. the perfect getaway, close to the main Barossa towns.

We loved the Rusty Olive - such a charming place! And clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The bottle of wine left by the owners was gone within 2 hours of our arrival! It was a great location for exploring the Barossa and Eden Valley. We really enjoyed walking around the town as well - very attractive! Thank you Marilyn & Adam!

We had a great stay in Rebekah’s gorgeous place. Such attention to 50-60’s retro detail in the decoration, and comfortable and well equipped as well. Better than the photos I think. There’s also a lovely garden out the back, perfect for relaxing after a day of lunching and wine tasting. Nice and close to cafes and restaurants in Angaston, and excellent wineries nearby. A lovely stay.

Anne’s place is incredible. A beautiful, peaceful spot surrounded by nature. Really close to town and lots of wineries. Great amenities, coffee, teas, board games, bbq anything you could possibly want and a welcome wine. We love this place. Highly recommend!

Homely cottage in a lovely hills location. Accommodated 7 people with ease. Has comfortable beds, excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. The breakfast supplies were delicious and plentiful. The cottage is well-equipped and includes a great undercover outdoor area with couches, table and chairs, and BBQ. The weather was extremely hot during our stay, but minimal use of the air conditioner kept the cottage surprisingly cool. Very happy overall. Highly recommend. We'd love to come back in winter when we can make use of the fire pit outside and the wood heater inside.

Excellent location, walking distance to all town services. Great house for large groups. We had 9 adults all with their own bed. Beautiful views and a spot for our own boat. Kitchen has everything we needed. Communication was efficient. Thank you

We had an exceptional stay with Josie and Andrew. Their accommodation was not only spotlessly clean but also ideally located and equipped with all the necessary comforts. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed into a perfectly prepared home, enhanced by many thoughtful touches that made our experience even more enjoyable. We particularly appreciated the fresh homemade bread, a bottle of wine, and a well-stocked fridge, such kind gestures from our hosts. Communication with Josie and Andrew was smooth and pleasant, and their discretion throughout our stay was greatly appreciated. This cottage is undoubtedly one of the best places we have stayed at so far. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a top-quality experience. We can’t wait to return!
