This lovely home is a 1928 heritage home that was once owned by one of the Stewart brothers who founded the town of Stewart, B.C. The home is walking distance to Main Street and the estuary; and has hiking trail heads just minutes away. Hyder, Alaska is a short 5 minute drive where you can bear watch at Fish Creek or carry on to Salmon Glacier where you can view the largest road accessible glacier in North America!
“Hello all. Nanci's place, the John Stewart home, is the best equipped airbnb I have ever stayed at. Cookie sheets to a french press to a little sewing kit by the back door. The furnishings are fun, the bathrooms wonderful, the hidey holes for storage in the bedrooms a surprise and the quiet wee study my favourite room. It is convenient to the village core and the park. All in all this is the place to stay in Stewart. Sandi”
