We stayed at Hostería la Roulotte during the very busy holiday weekend of All Souls Day. What we didn’t know before booking was that seemingly all of Quito was also going to be in Mindo that weekend, so it was very busy in town and all over the valley. Despite all the traffic, it was comfortable and quiet at Roulotte. The cabañas (cabins) are super cute and cozy and they do have warm water for the showers, which is especially nice. There is a lovely central building where the restaurant and bar are located. It has several tables for eating or gathering and a nice lounge area as well. It’s also the best spot on the property for decent WiFi, as the signal, like the noise from the road, doesn’t carry very far in the middle of the cloud forest. On the property you can enjoy great food, lounge in the hammocks, or try not to get lost in the bamboo labyrinth. La Roulotte is within easy walking distance of the butterfly farm and a chair lift that you can take up to the top of the hill for a great view and some hiking. Ignacio and his family are wonderful hosts who put every effort into making sure their guests are very comfortable and happy. We highly recommend this guesthouse for a peaceful getaway.

Paul es un excelente anfitrión, tiene una persona encargada que también es muy educado y comedido, el lugar es hermoso, amplio y cumple con todas las especificaciones que se muestran en el anuncio, volvería muchas veces más, cuenta con espacio verde y reciben sin problema a mascotas

Marcos place is amazing!! Beautiful gardens, stunning views of San Pablo lake. Loved all the animals and the water noise is so relaxing. I recommend this place 100%

We had a great stay at Isabel’s place. Clear instructions were provided and Francisco was waiting for us at the airport. He communicated with us a couple times before our arrival and the pickup was easy. Although we arrived late, he was kind enough to have an ample meal ready for us. The property/room was as described, and the room was comfortable. There were extra toiletries in the bathroom if needed. It was quiet and we had a peaceful sleep after a very long day. Francisco was very kind, and we talked quite a bit. He was very interesting, helpful and informative. Francisco made sure we were comfortable in every way. The dogs and cat are friendly. Unfortunately, we missed Sophia, who was not in town. We highly recommend.

Lugar acogedor, cerca del aeropuerto, es silencioso y la persona que nos recibió muy amable, fácil de llegar, limpio, estaba bien equipado, estilo campestre, rodeado de áreas verdes, a pesar de estar cerca del aeropuerto no se escucha el sonido de los aviones, el lugar bastante limpio.

The space is absolutely beautiful, gorgeous surroundings with a rustic feel. There’s a restaurant on site featuring wonderful, healthy, and locally sourced food. Ximena was a wonderful communicator and very responsive. They are a beautiful, kind, and friendly family. I loved the dog too.

Go there! The scenery is beautiful, the outdoor grill is amazing. The owners cousins were there when I arrived. I felt like family there between the owners family and employees. They actually take care of the large property. I think they should add more photos. I would go back in a minute. I think they are new to AIRBNB so some amenities may be confusing. I think this is very understandable. I showed pictures to my family and others told them all they should go. The outdoor wood fire grill definitely was so exiting!!! The thank them for everything
