Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Mercer County

A perfect place for a get away! The creek was so peaceful, the hot tub was relaxing, the house was clean, and the location was private but central. Host was perfect with fresh flowers, snacks, plenty of kitchen and bathroom items and very responsive!

We were very pleased with the accommodations and the layout worked well for us to have our own space. The home was charming, well-kept, and fulfilling for our needs. There was a comment made about the openness of the windows, but we did not feel this was of issue as the neighboring homes were distant and the remote vibe did not lend any safety concerns so I wouldn't give it concern as you may read the reviews. Toni was responsive each step along the way during the trip. The location in proximity to Four Roses was a stone throw -- and getting to Frankfort to enjoy Buffalo Trace was a short distance away -- as was getting to Woodford Reserve. The hot tub was a signature offering, as some of the guests have one so it was nice to enjoy away this amenity while on the trip. All the essentials we needed were there. The only opportunity would be making the guest resource book more clear and visible, as it was somewhat tucked away and inconspicuous. Overall, highly recommend.

Perfect location and place to stay. We are 5 friends who get together annually. Mark's place was walkable to the city, markets, live music on Thursday nights and lots of good restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms fit our group comfortably. Loved the hottub, the front porch with our morning coffee and the kichen had everything we needed. The added bonus was the cardinal nest with 2 babies. So fun! We'd definitely come back and stay here. Oh! Mark also wrangled up 5 bikes for us to ride the Legacy trail. Super fun. He was very responsive and an amazing host.

we had a wonderful stay the lake was a plus it was very quiet and peaceful and was able to fish. the house was spotless and cozy and felt like you were at home we had several games that we could play inside and outside in the hot tub was also a plus I'm very cool nights..we will be back.. hostess was very helpful easy place to find and we seen many deer

this villa was an outstanding value. aweaome location on the bourbon trail. was perfect weekend for my girlfriend and i to unwind and relax while enjoying distillery tours and shopping. the hot tub was wonderful at the end of the day. we will definitely be back. thank you john.

Loved our stay. The Hot tub on the back porch was the perfect touch after our long evenings on the road. Location to tour multiple distilleries and visit the zoo. Incredible trip and fantastic place to stay.

We came on a bourbon quest (it was successful)and an end of the school year teacher retreat. The cabin was perfect for our plans. Cabin matched the pictures and descriptions perfectly. Very responsive hosts with very clear detailed instructions. We loved playing records and the back sitting area was so peaceful. Cabin is equipped with all the things to cook. Coffee setup was great! Due to a massive amount of rain we did not get to walk the trail but it looked awesome. Getting to the loft was no problem and the bed was so comfortable. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved Bourbon Barrel cottages! Beautiful setting out in the rolling hills of Kentucky. Lose to distilleries and restaurants yet out far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Angie was out every day tending to the beautiful landscaping. They even offer fresh eggs on-site. Book this place next time you’re in bourbon country, you won’t be disappointed!

This house and property is beautiful! We had such an amazing weekend. We love about an hour away and wanted to get away to the lake for our anniversary. Carolyn’s place did not disappoint! From the cozy beds and linens to the fully stocked kitchen and everything in between we felt truly at home. The space is open and airy and feels like you belong. The hosts have thought of it all. We spent 90% of our time outside on the deck or on the dock. It rained a good amount of the time but we still had a blast because the deck is fully covered. So much wildlife!! There’s a baby snapping turtle that lives in the yard and on the dock and deer were everywhere. The kayaks were a lot of fun too! This definitely won’t be our last visit here!

absolutely beautiful property for family vacation get away.

We were pleasantly surprised at how well the place fit all our needs. There’s a lot packed into this place - lots of beds, good games, extra tables and chairs…. Gorgeous grounds and we loved the large back porch area!

We were in town for a swim meet in Danville. It was very easy to drive there. The house was very comfortable with lots of space for our family. My son enjoyed being in the hot tub after swimming all day. John was a wondeful host! Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property, centrally located to some of the distilleries and wineries. The home had great amenities like outdoor space, game room, screened in patio. The grounds and surrounding area were lush and green. Very peaceful setting. Great for hanging out after a day of distillery touring. Distance to Louisville and Lexington were a bit farther than we anticipated but still a great location to use as a start off point. We would stay here again for sure!
