A wonderful family weekend in this fabulous place! There's nothing missing! The cottage is superb, the environment is perfect. We were lucky enough to have great sunshine, which allowed us to fully enjoy the pool and garden. Close to places of interest. Great stay under the sun. The pool and the large outdoor table are great. The children had everything they needed to have fun. The hens had little chicks during our stay, to the delight of the children. I highly recommend this listing There are also many visits and walks to do nearby.

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

We loved staying at Aulde’s place, the house was easy to live in, the garden was just wonderful with lots of equipment (table tennis, slackline, toys for all ages) and the heated swimming pool and the barbecue of course. Aulde was a very responsive, helpful and nice host, she made our check-out and check-out smooth and straightforward. Location-wise, I highly recommend this place as it is perfect to visit castles from the Loire Valley (Chambord, Chenonceau, Chaumont, etc.) as well as historical towns (Blois), you find really good restaurants and Loire wine shops in the area, finally all shops you need are nearby. We all spent great holidays there and would definitely go again, so I can’t recommend it enough. 😊

Very nice accommodation, well equipped with a nice heated pool. Communication with Philippe is fast and efficient. I recommend it.

Great stay, we were able to enjoy the surroundings, the garden and pool as a bonus to the delight of the children. The kitchen is very well equipped which is nice. We will be back!

We had a great 3-day weekend at Sandrine's place. The house is very clean and well kept, in a quiet environment with a large garden. It is 10 minutes from the Château de Chambord and close to Blois. We appreciated the many new amenities available (special mention for the rail press!). The kids enjoyed the games a lot too. Sandrine is adorable. She was flexible on arrival time and was kind enough to offer us brioche, leaking juice and jam. Thanks for everything!

We had a very comfortable overnight stay in Tiphaine's gite. Everything was as expected and she was very responsive and amenable about our stay. The instructions she sent were very clear and easy to follow. The decor in the rooms is very tasteful, the layout is good and it is in a very peaceful spot.

We stayed as a family (3 adults and 4 children) with Anastasia and Dimitri to visit the Château de Chambord, which is 10 minutes away. The house is faithful to the photos, everything is very well maintained and functional. Anastasia was very responsive when we wrote to her. We would recommend this listing!

Peaceful place, neat accommodation with a very nice brightness in the living room. Elisa was welcoming and friendly, simple and frank. This accommodation a little set back from the city of Blois allows you to discover a beautiful soothing countryside, accompanying you to rest after these days of rhythmic visits. We had an exceptional stay at our gorgeous house in Cellettes. It truly felt like a home away from home. Cellettes is very well located for visits to both the main Loire Valley castles as well as some of the lesser known ones. It’s also close to restaurants and shops by car, including an excellent Boulangerie and local produce store, making it a very convenient place to base your stay. The house itself is a beautiful traditional stone farmhouse which has been modernised inside whilst retaining its character. It’s beautifully designed, spotlessly clean and our very kind and welcoming hosts, Cathy and Reynald, had thought of everything their guests might need for a trouble free and comfortable stay. It was a really tranquil place to return to at the end of each day. We had a wonderful time, and I truly cannot recommend a stay here more highly. Stop searching. This is the place!

The accommodation is clean, functional and in a private and so peaceful environment! 👍🏻 The decoration and the setting will undoubtedly make you want to come back to Sologne 🦌 In summer, the air conditioning, the jacuzzi and part of the shaded terrace are a real asset of the house 🏠 We highly recommend this accommodation, which will undoubtedly be one of our best Airbnb experiences 🙏🏻

Pleasant accommodation, quiet and beautifully decorated, very spacious room for 4 people. There are several board games to keep the children busy. Good location: a few kilometres from Chambord, Cheverny, Blois, etc.

The place is absolutely stunning - super spacious, stylish, has everything one may need on vacation and even more. The terrace is a jem - we enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace. The area is very serene and quiet. And Celine is an amazing host, extremely helpful and responsive. Definitely would recommend and would dream of returning again!

We had a great 4-day weekend at Valerie's cottage with friends! The house is superb, everything is very well furnished! The accommodation is 10 minutes' drive from Chambord castle, which allows you to be there from the opening at 9 am and enjoy the castle almost alone in the world! Thank you Valerie!
