Guesthouse holiday rentals in Mentawai Islands Regency

It’s an amazing airbnb, very clean, great interior, the surroundings are tropical and the view from the location is insane! Highly advise this airbnb to everyone when visiting Padang. The location itself is on a hill, but that makes it so special. Because it’s 200 m above sea-level you don’t need an AC which is very convenient for sleeping. And then as well the staff is so so so kind! Very carrying and making sure you are having a good time. There is also an option the get a ‘homemade’ dinner prepared with many options on a menu, we did that the first day and we felt immidiately at home. Overall, we loved it!!!

Great value, the staff remains available and is very helpful, the taxi to come was even refunded to us! I recommend it!

The room is very clean and the AC working properly, really helps when the city temparature becoming hot. The place also near to many coffee shops and local restaurant. Would definitely back to this place again.

The place is beautiful with a view of the ganang mountain, close to the city.. close to interesting places, spacious parking.. there's a cafe, there's a surau.. overall everything is ok, the atmosphere is rural and suitable for large families. Only the air conditioning is not cold, but at night.. the air conditioning doesn't need to be turned on, the night atmosphere is quite cool. Suitable for large families who want peace. Add a fan on the balcony & if possible a freezer to store food.

From the time Yanto and Chad welcomed us to their beautiful lodge, to the farewell they gave us, our time at Yanto’s place was unforgettable to say the least. It was our first time at this surf Mecca and we have loved every minute of it. Being 6 girls travelling this first time surf destination, we didn’t know what to expect, but Yanto and Chad’s crew looked after us beyond all expectations. The lodge was surrounded by natural tropical beauty with its own private beachfront, peppered with snorkelling right at your own doorstep. The rooms were large and beds comfortable, all facing the ocean. Location to the best breaks were a stones-throw away and all the staff were friendly, caring and looked after us to no end. The meals were fresh, delicious and plentiful and meal times were flexible to when we wanted to catch waves. Our surf guides took pics (so worth the cost) and always took us to breaks according to all abilities of intermediate to advanced surfers. We will be back 100%

We had a wonderful stay at Yanto's Place! The staff are so incredibly lovely and accommodating and the location is absolutely stunning. Being able to walk out of the lodge straight down to your own private beach is an experience I will never forget. Thanks to Chad and the whole team for making us feel at home!

Chad and Yantos are creating something very special. Our time felt more like a home-stay with family rather than Air BnB. We loved every second of our time in the Mentawai, with memories that will last forever. Will definitely be back asap. Thanks to all involved. Much love and gratitude Sally R
