“Perfect airbnb really. Gorgeous views. So peaceful it feels like you are remotely located, away from it all and yet only a short drive from the nearby town of Meningie if you need to to stock up on supplies. Wendy's home is beautifully presented and thoughtfully laid out and functional. The most amazing attention to detail I’ve ever experienced! And if you want to take a little of the Coorong Waterfront retreat home with you? Specially packaged seeds from their garden to take back and grow your own vegetables. The kitchen is fully equipped to support real meal preparation if you wish. We loved the fire for the cool nights, a thoughtful selection of dvds, magazines, books and games then went to sleep listening to the frogs in the nearby frog pond in the garden. So much that was so good and of course Wendy and Dean were fantastic to deal with. Fast response and accommodating with a last minute booking. Friendly and helpful yet respectful of our privacy. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience.”
Enjoy our recently renovated Country retreat, with water views overlooking The Coorong and National park, this stunning property is set amongst 100 acres of land, where you will experience some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, whilst induldging in a glass of red wine, sitting by the fire. Explore the national park and take the opportunity to relax, read a book and take in the country air.
“Very nice and peaceful location. It's a bit further off the road than I expected, but this meant we didn't really hear any cars. Check the fireplace as it became incredibly smoky when we used it. There are heaps of towels so you don't need to bring any! Also there were more beds than I expected. I'm not sure if the current listing has it but there's a double in one room, a sofa bed with a spare mattress in another room. Then there's a room with two bunk beds. One of the beds is a double.”

“We stayed at James’ place for 2 weeks doing self isolation and found the place very cosy and comfortable to live in. The house was stocked with supplies and sparkling clean. Unfortunately we didn’t get to explore Middleton but on our drive out it looked like a very friendly, inviting coastal town which was the same welcome we received from the neighbours. Great value for money!”
