Eddastua is a lovely Nordland house from 1880

Eddastua is in history and charm. Edda Konstanse lived in the house with his sisters, who lived as a seamstress. Some years after Edda's death, Prostinne Valborg and her husband took over Prost Steffensen . When he died, Valborg moved to his children and the house was empty for almost 50 years, before Christensen took over in 2001. They have taken care of all the things that were there and turned the house into a gem with charm and tranquility. Stay in newly remodeled Community School

Idyllic Storvik is a small village at the end of Nordland coast in the middle of Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are oceans, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old grend school that we in our family have converted into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very light, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you would rather relax on the beach and enjoy nature in the distance it is fully possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

The apartment is located on the venerable Jæra in Glomfjord, here you can find tranquility with a lighthouse in the fireplace and enjoy a fantastic view with fjord and mountains as your closest neighbors. Sitting inside enjoying good food and drink while the wind blows at its worst outside. Or you can take the trip out and experience fresh Northern Norwegian air and nature up close in all kinds of weather. Here it is a short way to the fjord and mountain water for those who want to try their fishing luck or just go for a long walk.

Large cabin with lovely views, boat and sauna

We welcome open-air guests to our great cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down by the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great, private sauna tub all the way down by the water, and an outdoor jacuzzi (this is new from July 2025). Formidable hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top trips and smaller family trips for you.

BOLGA, a remote IDYLL N of the ARCTIC CIRCLE

Bolga is a beautiful island on the Helgeland coast with approx 85 friendly inhabitants, a grocery store and a tavern. Exciting conditions for hiking, climbing, bouldering, kayaking, diving, seakiting, fishing and foraging. The cottage is situated in the south-west corner, 2 km easy walking from the harbour. Daily connection with the mainland by ferry or local boat to/from Ørnes and express boat to/from Bodø/Sandnessjøen. You may observe the amazing Northern Light from September.

Great cabin for a family trip or a walk with your girlfriend. Peaceful and quiet in lovely surroundings. The cabin is about 1h and 15min away from Bodø Good cabin standard with running well water, hot water and shower. The toilet is indoors in the bathroom and bio toilet type. Private barbecue area where the fireplace can be enjoyed in both rain and sun. Wood is brought or can be purchased by the host for NOK 200 per 40l sack

Svartisen Northern light

Welcome to Svartisen Northern light. The cabin is located by the seaside and has a private dock. You can also find a telescope inside the cabin, and during the winter this is the place to observe the Northern lights when the sky is clear. The boat to Svartisen are approximately 400 m away from the cabin, so this is a perfect place to start glacier hiking. If you like fishing there is fishing gear available.
