Bedstee is a remote, sheltered haven on our croft in a beautiful setting overlooking Little Loch Broom. Situated at the end of an 8 mile single track road off the NC500, it's perfect to explore the Highlands. Adventure, stunning views, silence and the elements, our cosy, romantic Bedstee has an intimate and nostalgic rustic feel. Created with love and attention to detail, we wish that you will experience a unique stay in a wonderful little crofting township. Dogs on leads are very welcome.

Available all year round. Gas central heating fitted - Attractive, 1 bedroomed (double or twin), comfy, semi detached, self catering cottage for 2 in the rural crofting township of Melvaig, 9 miles NW of Gairloch with seaviews to Skye and the Western Isles and just off the NC500. The property is for a minimum of 3 nights. Perfect base for relaxing. A few minutes to the shore and 30 mins walk along to peaceful beaches. Jetty nearby which you can drive down to and take your own kayaks there too.

Spectacular Tree Hoose high in our woodland canopy

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic retreat in which Tree Hoose is uniquely elevated on our hillside croft over looking Loch Broom with sweeping spectacular Scottish Highland views. This beautiful space, just 15 mins drive from bustling Ullapool, has the blissful feeling of being worlds away from everything. Tree Hoose boasts relaxed open plan accommodation, comprising 1nr kingsize + 1nr single bed, warmed by underfloor heating and a central woodburner for an irresistibly soft evening.

The Courtyard, Foulis Castle, Highland Scotland

Foulis Castle, Evanton is near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Falasgair

Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

Rowanberry Bothy Retreat - At one with nature

Beautiful stone built bothy dating back to 19th century. Lovingly restored with original stonework around a cosy wood burner. We offer outstanding views across the Kyle of Sutherland and are situated in quiet countryside. The Bothy has a small kitchen (with limited cooking e.g. Airfryer ), bathroom with shower and use of laundry facilities if required. . We are situated 1 hour North of Inverness and only 1 hour from Ullapool on the stunning NC500 route. BBQ and charcoal provided.

Loch Ewe Pods @ 'Stormy Bay View'

With stunning panoramic views from the famous Torridon mountain range to the Isle of Lewis, ‘Stormy Bay View’ is one of two of our snug pods (see also 'Mountain Ash View'). Full of mod cons and comfy furnishings, with the added luxury of underfloor heating. We are located in the crofting community of Mellon Charles, just 4 miles from the NC500 route. With beaches and coastal walks nearby, enjoy the tranquility of 'Stormy Bay View' as base to explore our bonnie area.

Secluded Highland Retreat

Our new pod is on a sole occupancy site in the village of Inverasdale, on the NC500 route. This secluded spot is in an area of outstanding natural beauty with endless options for beach walks, wild swimming, walking, climbing and Munro bagging. Poolewe is a 10 minute drive away and has a local shop, Gairloch is a further 10 minutes and has all other amenities that might be required. There is an outdoor seating area, firepit and BBQ available for guests to use.

Juliette's - peaceful hut on a croft, Highlands

On quiet, unique, daffodil croft beside Loch Ewe. Sleeps up to 3: double bed with single bunk above. Facilities in nearby Hub: exclusive use of shower-room, kitchenette, dining and lounge areas. In National Scenic Area, 4 miles (6.4 km) north of Poolewe and NC500 route. Uninterrupted views to mountains of Wester Ross and Sutherland. Not suitable for infirm guests (as access is via two steps and grass paths may be wet and slippy), children or pets.
