House holiday rentals in Melicucco

A beautiful house with great pool and a very nice view of the mountain and sea. The kitchen is super equipped. Using the coordinates and Googlemaps provided by Monica, we easily found the house. We arrived at night and the ride by car to the residential complex where the house is located was a bit adventurous as it rained the days before and also on our arrival and the surroundings were very dark. But everything worked out Communication with Monica was flawless and she was very helpful. Supermarket and restaurants are easily accessible by car within about 15 minutes. We enjoyed it, despite some bad luck with the weather. But after 3 days of rain, the weather became nicer and we were able to explore Calabria. We would come back.

This was an exceptional stay in Calabria for me and my family. The villa is exactly as it seems. It is likely the nicest AirBNB that one will ever find in Calabria. The staff is exceptionally helpful. Rino & Caterina were available 24/7 to help us, we had daily cleaning service, and Gianni was our driver at a moment's notice anywhere we wanted to go, from Soverato to Tropea. We had a birthday party for 50 of our extended cousins and it worked out perfectly. The extra costs we paid (use of the van, daily cleaning, driving, and pool heating) were extremely fair and reasonable. Biggest tips -- have the pool heated even in June, and have the ladies come for daily cleaning - truly made it feel like a 5 star resort. Davide deserves tremendous credit for building such a special place in such a beautiful place in Calabria.

The perfect location to be close to Tropea but also have privacy and peace. Luisa was very kind and was always available to answer our questions. The appartment was very clean and had everything we needed, the parking space was also very appreciated. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be in a peaceful space while also being close to the beaches.

We were guests of Mr. Francesco alla Formaggera for a week. La Formaggera is located in a unique place for the landscape that surrounds it and a little enchanted by the saturated atmosphere of history that you can breathe in it. The house is simple, but delightfully furnished; the kitchen is well organized and equipped with everything you need and you can have lunch and dinner outside, cool. Far from the chaos, you can rest in the shade of the pines, surrounded by prickly pears and Calabra nature. The beautiful pool and its covered patio, much appreciated on warm days, are certainly a strong point. The sea is close and in the nearest town there are supermarkets and many other shops including the excellent Lagani dairy and the nearby pastry shop. The village of Badolato, a few kilometers away, is worth visiting.

Antonio and his family are great hosts. The house is beautiful and the facilities are great. Whenever we contacted Antonio he responded within 10 minutes and he was very helpful with everything we asked about. This is a great place to stay.

This place is a gem!!! Includes an adorable home with multiple outdoor dining areas, pool (shared between a couple of villas), and a stunning private beach (down 400 steps but well worth it!). Our mixed age group (2 year old, 92 year old and 3 adults) absolutely loved it! Was a beautiful escape and felt like we were getting a taste of the region. We loved spending time at the pool and cooking in the kitchen. For those who may have trouble with stairs - one bedroom is ground floor, two are upstairs. It is only a few minutes drive from some great restaurants, and 20 minute drive to Tropea. Definitely recommend having a car if you stay here.

Highly recommended for people who expect privacy. It’s a modest but Clean and comfortable apartment. All things in descrption were found inside although it takes a bit time to guess for example how to turn on THE washing machine ,THE oven or warm Water. Instructions from Valentina are however clean. You can chill outside with beautiful view of perfectly maintained garden and sea view . THE biggest plus is also Access to beautiful pool, water is clean and its pretty big, circa 18 metres of length. Valentina is very caring person and despite not being present in Calabria , she gives all details about check in, house rules , places to visit, where to eat or buy local cheese. That was very helpful for us and I’m sure without her tips we would be unaware of many things around.

Very nice apartment in Villa del Conte - what a view🤩. Beautifully elevated with views of the sea and Tropea. Tropea is very easily accessible at a short distance - car is necessary. Various beautiful seats on the grounds, all with beautiful views. The swimming pool is also in a wonderful location. The facilities are sufficient, including a place where you can BBQ. In short, a very nice apartment in a wonderful location. Recommended - yes !!

idyllic mountain village surrounded by friendly Italian people. In winter it can get cold in the house, even if in the morning the sun is shining surrounded by lemon trees. We always had power outages. It was worth the trip. 🍋🌞🍊

The apartment is very well located in the heart of Tropea’s old town, with the most beautiful sea-view. There are several very good restaurants nearby. It was quite hot and there was only one fan. Would have been nice to have had a second one, especially at night. Other than that, we can highly recommend this spacious and very well equipped apartment. Massimo was more than helpful with everything. He gave us many good recommendations where to eat, grocery shopping, etc.

We stayed on this space for 3 days. Was super clean. Giovanna showed us everything at check-in. We were in Scilla or on the ferry in Sicily within 10 minutes. If you walked down the street, you were right by the sea and could look over to Sicily. The only minor thing that bothered me was the motorists. The house is located on a curve, i.e. it is lifted from every direction. Especially in the morning from 8.00 am it was quite annoying, at other times it had not bothered us. I recommend the accommodation for a trip to Scilla or to come to Sicily.

We were two at Silvio's and enjoyed the stay very much. There was a large bed and a large, very comfortable sofa bed. We were able to park in front of the house on the street and explore the area from there. Silvio was always a very friendly host for us, who could also help us with the purchase of a property. Pizzo and the surrounding area are worth a trip, beautiful old town and many very good restaurants (be sure to eat the pistachio tartuffo at Dante's) with wonderfully long secluded beaches. We will be happy to come back.

Quirico was a dream to communicate with and so nice the place is so close to the beach. Very peaceful

Simona, Valentina, and her adorable son are wonderful hosts! The apartment is situated in a great location for visiting Tropea, Pizzo, Capo Vaticano and more. We were greeted with smiles and joy just lovely all around. Simona left us Prosecco, fruits from her garden, coffee and more. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Exceptional value for your money ❤️ Thank you again for having us!

Lovely place, especially the garden. Super well located. Great communication and super flexible check-in. Well equipped kitchen. It was also great to have cooking basics in the house!

Natale and Claudia's house is beautiful. The terrace is magical and offers spectacular sunsets over the Aeolian Islands. The whole estate is a marvel; the fact that everything is fenced makes it much easier to manage, especially if you have a dog that likes to run away. It also makes you feel safe, the car is parked inside. I asked for a vacuum cleaner (due to the dog) and it was provided immediately. We asked for the barbecue and we also received it immediately. The washing machine was convenient, given the somewhat long stay (more than a week). Everything else was simply perfect. There isn't much around Rodia out of season, but with a few kilometres by car, the problem is solved.

Ample space, strategic location, minimal finishes and furnishings but with impeccable taste and cleanliness. As well as the relationship with the host. We spent a fantastic week of tranquility, beautiful scenery and excellent food. We'll be back and highly recommend it. Thanks to Luigi and family

If only I could've stayed longer in Dinami! Francesca and her mother were so kind, helpful, and welcoming- the perfect hosts and the definition of hospitality. The space is even more beautiful in person with lovely artwork on the walls. And just up the street you can look out over Dinami and the mountains. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Warmest recommendation for Danilo's accommodation! The apartment is located in a charming village, about 15 minutes from the beaches. Especially practical: an excellent trattoria is located directly in the village and is easily accessible on foot. Danilo was always available, very flexible at check-in and greeted us personally – a very friendly and attentive host!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The house is beautiful and is just as seen in the photos. TOP cleanliness. It also has an internal parking lot where you can leave the car. The place is in a strategic area, because it is in a quiet area within walking distance of the sea (you don't even need a car to get there) but also within walking distance of the center of Roccella. The guys who followed us to meet our needs were great and I'll respond right away. Easy to check in and easy to check out.

Wonderful location - private, serene, and gorgeous. Philip and Antonia were lovely hosts, they took care to provide lots of recommendations and explain the house. The house itself is beautiful and had all the necessities for us to stay in and cook for the week, especially using the sweet local red onions! The view is incredible and the private beach was our daily exercise - we loved it! We'll be back!
