Mohammed’s place is ideal for those who want to have the Fez Medina experience. It is smack in the middle of it! You can find *anything* you need here. While it seems incredibly intimidating at first, it is super easy to get from your temporary home to the Blue Gate, for example. The place has AC so it is cool which is very necessary in Fez. You have lots of room and pretty much everything you need to be independent in this town. Mohammed is kind, efficient, able, and conscientious. He organized a porter to help us with our bags (on arrival and at departure), and offered us mint tea and biscuits on the beautiful rooftop deck as a welcome gesture. That kind of hospitality is exceptional and very much appreciated. We had organized two tours out of town so the ease of finding the Blue Gate starting point cannot be over-emphasized. The place is truly as pictured, with wonderful quirks but also many conveniences. Take the paper map he offers. It works when google maps do not. Enjoy!

Abderrahim was responsive to all requests for clarification. The apartment is a good one and corresponds to his AD, and the location is excellent for our trip to Meknès.

Very good location with the possibility of using 1 garage. Nice apartment but overlooking a main street... Too bad there's no hot water in the kitchen. Close to a supermarket (Marjane).

Great apartment. Near to a lot of sightseeing’s. 15 min walk to the Medina. Everything looked exactly the same as in the fotos. Senhaji was very friendly!

Very easy to communicate with the host, Ayoub. Ayoub was already waiting for us at Bab Ziat when we arrived in late evening, and prepared drinks and snacks for us. Very much appreciated. A very short and flat walk from Bab Ziat to his unit. We like the rooms, the kitchen and the courtyard. Two of the bathrooms and a toilet are in the same bathroom like public bathroom style. We still use it a one bathroom as there isn't enough space to hang our clothes and towels in the bathroom within the bathroom. We were there for two nights, arrived late and left early. Didn't encounter any strange people except for a kid which told us "it's closed" when we were on our way to a nearby restaurant for dinner (very nice dinner). Ayoub recommended Batha Coffee for breakfast and we liked it a lot (went there for breakfast consecutive days). Had trouble opening the main door to the apartment building with the key but you just need to try for a few more times.

Everything is great, Youssef, who does the housekeeper, extremely attentive and with good recommendations. The riad has a spectacular charm, it's pure immersion. The breakfast we had the opportunity to enjoy was also very good. Youssef gave us a hand looking for a guide for the visit (the topic of the guide is to talk apart because it is not really tied to the accommodation). To put a hit, the riad's patio is covered with a plastic cover, the first night was quite windy, and it made noise, but nothing that accumulated sleep to visit Fes don't fix :D You can park nearby, and then with a couple of simple directions (to be the Medina of Fès) you are ready to start your exploration. The kids really enjoyed the stay. We would definitely repeat.

The apartment was very clean and well-prepared for our stay. The location was amazing – right in the heart of the medina, which made the experience even more special. This was my first time in such an original and unique place and staying in this traditional old house made it even more memorable. Each floor had a bedroom, and the rooftop terrace was simply fantastic. It truly felt like immersing ourselves in the local way of living. We also had breakfast prepared for us on-site, which was a lovely touch. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an authentic experience

Nisrine's place is located in the heart of the Fes medina and so offers a very authentic experience. We were able to walk to most of the attractions. Checking in all the way to the house is not possible with a car so expect to walk some way with luggage, but this is part of the medina experience. Nisrine and Abdo were kind, always responsive and very helpful.

I love AirBnb, in Mehdi's house I felt comfortable from the first second. It is very lovingly furnished in the Matokkan style. Unfortunately, I was only in Fès for one night. I can recommend this offer.

Wonderful stay at Dar Benaress. Mohammed and Nabilla are amazing hosts. Before we arrived, Mohammed asked if we’d like a list of things to do in and near Fes that he could arrange. It was our first time in Fes so we opted for both of the local tours and the hammam. We could not recommend them more and were so pleased we did those. The tours were informative and our guide helped us shop and took great care of us. Another option we arranged for was the home cooked meal. We initially thought we’d do that only one night, but Nabilla is such an extraordinary chef that we did it an additional two nights we were there of our four night stay. The riad itself is as beautiful and charming and magical as the pictures show. If not more. Amenities were as said. We couldn’t figure out the AC but the weather was fine so we didn’t bother to ask. The location is wonderful and Nabilla and Mohammed were very accommodating on arrival and when going on excursions. Would be lovely to visit again.

It’s impossible to perfectly describe the experience we had in this riad. The place is beautiful and is located in the heart of the medina which is such a unique experience that you cannot experience anywhere else in the world. The best part though was the housekeeper Zac. Without him we may not have even made it to the riad. He sent a taxi to pick us up from the airport and met us outside the medina and walked us to the riad. Through our entire stay he was available for us at all hours and did everything he could to make our stay as amazing as possible. The breakfast and dinner he cooked were also amazing and was among the better food we ate in Fes. He also took us on a tour of the atlas mountains and made many stops and some very cool places along the way. One last thing is how hard he worked. He ran back and forth through the medina multiple times when all the shops were closed to help us get things that we didn’t get earlier. This is without a doubt the best place to stay in Fes.

The apartment was clean and well maintained, thanks to Souad for the impeccable cleaning. Convenient location with a taxi station nearby and several restaurants within a 5-minute walk for lunch. Mehdi is really a great host. There was a problem without his place before I arrived and he found me a hotel next door at the same price and same quality. In addition, he invited me to his restaurant and he takes the time to make sure everything is going smoothly...the food at his place is very delicious in addition to the gift drinks... I recommend it!

Maxime is a lovely guy. Very responsive and helpful. The place was nice a clean located in old medina close to other local places making it walkable. I have no complaints and hopefully next time when I visit meknes I'll stay with Maxime again. Thank you Maxime.
