Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Medford

I stayed with Shine for the weekend for a music festival and it was the perfect place- close to public transportation and cozy and comfortable. Shine was very responsive and answered any questions I had very quickly. She was also very kind, though I only got to meet her briefly since I was mostly out and about in Boston. I’d absolutely stay with Shine again.

Great option for us during graduation weekend in Boston. Great location for any type of transportation. Quiet street. Very easy to access. The description was exactly as shown. Luciana’s place was IMMACULATE! Everything was pristine. Make sure to double check street cleaning signs (Luciana does tell you to be aware…sometimes husbands don’t read all the way through 😉😳) Highly recommend!

Pema and Jonathan are wonderful hosts. This was our second stay at The Nest and we were able to really take advantage of the deck overlooking their beautiful garden and the city beyond, for morning coffee and afternoon snacks. Their place is very spacious and charming. It's walking distance to stores, restaurants and the Gilman Square T-stop. For trips further afield, it's great to have a designated, off-street parking spot right by the entrance to the unit, with motion sensor lights for nighttime arrivals. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is very comfortable, with reading lights on both sides of the bed. Highly recommend.

I had a very comfortable stay: the host Jennifer was responsive and friendly. Even though the rental is in the basement of their home it was still very private. Bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was nice and clean. Lastly, the neighborhood was nice: I walked to an Indian restaurant for dinner one night and didn’t get back until late and felt very safe the whole time. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in Boston!

We had a great time here as a mother-daughter duo. The location is perfect for exploring without a car, with great restaurants, coffee, and a train stop within a quick walk. Our hosts were very gracious and kind, and we were very comfortable: comfortable bed, lots of room to unpack, a desk for writing, and a newly-remodeled private bathroom. Recommended!

Great space to stay! Extremely accommodating, including our hope for an early check in. Convenient and affordable place to stay if staying around Tufts or Medford / Somerville area. Definitely would book again!!

Belal was a very good host. He was very responsive and friendly. The neighborhood was nice. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was newly updated. This house was fairly close to downtown Boston as well. I would stay here again!

This was my second stay with Marina and just like last time, everything was perfect. The beds are super comfortable, there are blackout blinds in every room, and the apartment is right in front of a park in a very quiet area, so we had an amazing sleep. The apartment is spotless, stylish, modern, and fully equipped. Can’t recommend her places enough!

Steve and Nancy were wonderful, gracious hosts. They allowed us to check-in early, gave great information about the area, and were awesome communicators from the time we booked until we checked out. The apartment was perfect for my nephew and me. It was a restful place to return after long days of sightseeing and lots of walking!

Linda is a great host!! She is friendly and communicative. She gave us great recommendations of places to eat and visit. Her place was perfect and had everything we needed. I would stay again and would recommend to others as well.

I came to attend Harvard’s graduation and we had a great stay at Melanie’s place! It was clean and comfortably fit myself and my mom and sister. We would book again in the future!

The location was great for our needs. Marta was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. (The only thing missing was dish towels for drying dishes.)

My family and I stayed for my daughter's graduation. After a busy day of travel, it felt like a breath of fresh air when we entered the Airbnb. It is spacious and beautifully decorated. It feels warm, peaceful, and comfortable. We enjoyed both the community space and our bedrooms. And the kitchen was lovely and easy to use. It was a wonderful place to regroup and relax after very busy days in Boston. We also enjoyed the location. We took walks in the beautiful neighborhood and appreciated being close to a shopping area. Angelo was very quick to respond and very helpful (when we needed to message). Their care in the place is truly evident.

This was a perfect location for going to the US. This Place was beautiful looks exactly like the pictures,Peaceful and very relaxing made me feel right at home. Very responsive and helpful so I give this place a 10/10 everything was just good for me.

Very clean house, very friendly host and mostly very responsive and available at any time. Bus station within few blocks which is very practical. We appreciated a lot our stay and we'd highly recommend it.

Shirley's place is as described. It is comfortable and generous in size. There is parking available both in the driveway and on the street(with a supplied parking pass) for two cars altogether. Fresh linens are plentiful and the kitchen is very practical for cooking and eating in. Outdoor furniture on the back porch allowed us to invite over friends and socialize in nice weather. It is simple, but comfortable.

Wonderful, light-filled home! An easy subway ride to Boston. Our family of 6, including two small children, was very comfortable. Cayla was friendly and helpful.

What a gem!! Ana's appartement is amazing. The bedrooms are large with good mattresses and furniture. Kitchen is great too. There is a nice patio to sit on at the back. Ana's house is extrememy clean, cosy and very well maintained, we will definitely stay here again when we visit Boston!

April’s place was everything advertised and more - beautiful high ceilings, a nice loft in addition to the two bedrooms, great proximity to everything in Somerville and Cambridge. When we had an issue with a potential lockout, April was proactive in reaching out and incredibly helpful. Would absolutely recommend the stay.

Our stay was wonderful, our hosts were communicative, and I would be more than happy to return. The unit was immaculately cleaned upon our arrival. The living room and kitchen are incredibly spacious - more so than I would have thought from the pictures. The outdoor spaces provide nice fresh air, and everything else is as advertised. But, sometimes, it's the little things that make an AirBnB. I took time each day to recover with a nice sauna. They have the things that hosts normally don't provide but everyone needs - aluminum foil, saran wrap, ziploc baggies, extra blankets, extra towels, and more. The shower that I used was great. Good water pressure. Good HVAC and water temp. Great natural light. Keyless entry, meaning no "who gets the keys" juggling. No ridiculous checkout expectations. So many "good AirBnB" boxes checked. :) The location is great to either explore East Boston (which has its own charm I wasn't aware of) or to get downtown. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Very comfortable place with deck where our dogs could be outside with us while we enjoyed the weather and a glass of wine. Kitchen well-equipped with everything we needed to cook and enjoy ourselves. The nespresso machine was wonderful. Also, Starbucks was just a short walk. The in-unit laundry was very convenient. The college was also a short walk where our pups could enjoy some green space. There is a park by the beach which is also a short walk, it was a little harder to get there because one must cross a busy street but, well worth it, once you got there. Downtown was a bit of a hike but, again well worth it once you were there and you did not have to worry about parking. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommended this condo.

This place was awesome! In the winter I think it would be a little far from public transit if you’re not used to the cold weather, but the airbnb itself was fantastic. The host is responsive and the place looks as advertised. No laundry so that is annoying for long term. I would recommend this flat for anyone who can climb steep stairs and likes to walk.

Perfect rental for a couple on a Boston visit. Pretty quiet neighborhood with no disturbances while we were there for our 4 night stay. Plenty of room and a very well stocked kitchen. Communication was clear, polite and prompt. Parking garage ($25 a day) was close and easy to find. Inexpensive ($8-$12) Lyft rides to many Boston attractions. Would definitely stay at Jennifer’s unit again, if we return to Boston.
