What a gem of a find this accommodation is!! Marg and Ian are excellent hosts, at all times friendly and so helpful. The house is fabulous, pictures don't do it justice, the gardens are beautiful, so peaceful and private and the facilities in the house leave you wanting for nothing. The breakfast provisions were plentiful, generous and much appreciated. Having relatives in Westbury, Dunorlan and Launceston was another bonus of this location. We loved our stay and future visits to Tas will be booked around dates that this accommodation is available, as we would not hesitate to stay again. Thanks again Marg and Ian for having us.

Absolutely loved staying at Tim and pip's. Quiet and beautiful farm with appropriate staying arrangements. loved the dogs and animals around the farm.

We loved out stay here - it had the most beautiful views over the vineyard and river. The winery and distillery were right on site which was super convenient. Lots of wildlife to spot at night and early morning which our 3 year old loved! The unit itself was one of the best appointed units we’ve ever stayed in - it had absolutely everything. The second room being its own little separate studio was actually handy for us too as we have a 5 month old and could put her to bed and it was quiet and separated. Beds were super comfy. Would absolutely come back here again!

This was a great base for exploring the Cradle Mountain area and surrounds. The kids were excited for this stop on our trip for the pool and it did not disappoint, a great highlight with a stunning view of Mt Roland sparkling at sunset. John was wonderful with suggestions of how to enjoy the property including helping with platypus spotting and accessing the silver mine. A great spot for families with so much to enjoy 😉

The pictures and description don’t do this place justice! This place was simply perfect. An idyllic haven, the freshest air, skies full of stars, and the most clean, cozy and toasty cottage you could ever imagine. Alison was the most wonderful host - she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted and needed, and she brought us to meet and feed all her lovely pet sheep, cows and dog. We had an amazing time here, thank you Alison!

Just spectacular. We can't recommend Manna Hill Farm enough. The photos do not do this place justice! Simon and Eileen are incredibly thoughtful and so much care and attention has gone into making the cottages a wonderful place to stay. Its worth every penny and has the added bonus of Amber (a gorgeous Aussie Shephard) greeting you at check in 😊 Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

If you're looking for a place to breathe, relax, contemplate, reflect, play, chat and spend quality time with family and friends, Eagles Nest 2 is perfect. With Mt Roland and a big wide sky as the grand backdrop view from all angles of the house, and with cathedral height windows celebrating every inch of the view, being inside and outside feels seamless. Eagles Nest is an experience. All the rooms are themed and the decor interestingly eclectic. The beds are very comfy. The place is clean. The kitchen has everything one needs. And then there's the outdoor spa (where you run your outdoor bath) tucked discreetly away for a relaxing soak. I think spectacular is the best word to describe the view and the night sky. We even saw a meteor shower from our bed which will be forever etched in my mind, with Mt Roland silhouetted in the background and a squillion million stars twinkling in the night sky (admittedly it was 4.30am - I'd woken to visit the bathroom - lucky timing!). So nice!

I've stayed at Fiona's place a number of times for work. It's perfect and I'll be back again for future trips. Great quiet location and a wonderful space to work in the evenings after a long day. It would also be a wonderful place for people on holiday and travelling around.

What a fantastic place to stay, spectacular views and modern, well appointed rooms, each with its own unique look and feel. Sharyn and Pat were amazing, welcoming hosts, we felt really well looked after! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a bit of luxury in a slightly off the beaten track location!

This was our favourite stay in Tasmania. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and perfectly situated in beautiful hills. We were welcomed into the cottage with ANZAC biscuits. Tracy and Quinton were wonderful host, sharing their farm and beautiful animals that we had the joy of petting and feeding. They were so kind and went above and beyond providing some local produce and stocked kitchen. We had so much fun at this farm stay and exploring nearby areas, a must book and we hope to return!

A beautiful & immaculate property with an amazing view, in a tranquil setting. Hosts are lovely, with all comforts provided, and are happy to assist with local recommendations. Wines are delicious! Thank you for having us, we will highly recommend to our family & friends, and look forward to returning on our next visit to Tassie.

Lovely farm stay with the fam. You can tell the owners put in a lot of effort into every corner of this place. Super comfortable and very well styled. Margit was super friendly and easy to communicate with. Thank you for the delicious honey and fresh produce from the veggie garden. Had to mention the chickens are hilarious and super chill. Don’t worry about the rooster would wake you up too early in the morning, as he gets up quite late himself! Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Klara’s hut on her property and surrounding farm. It has all the home comforts you need for a cosy getaway and is well located to get to Cradle Mountain national park and other great spots in the north of Tasmania. The welcome package she provided was incredibly tasty (and generous!). Ending the day with a fire and a glass of wine and beautiful surroundings was exactly what we were after! Highly recommend booking this spot.

We had a lovely stay at the cabin. The place was spotless and the hosts were friendly and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip. We felt right at home & enjoyed the complimentary breakfast!

A great lodging for the young children to experience farm stay and Angela was so kind to prepare some bread, jam and eggs from her farm. Although there were some minor hiccups, Angela tried her best to assist us by fixing these issues. She was also very kind to walk us around her beautiful farm and my boys simply loved her farm animals so much🥰 thank you, Angela!

We stayed at Quamby Home for a special, multi generational family weekend. The house was beautifully appointed, with every conceivable need catered for. The kids room was delightful - just leaving the kids to argue over who had “dibs” on the top bunks. Great outdoor space, with basketball, cricket and treehouse for them explore. Games and DVDs, books. Lots of space for adults and children to escape to enjoy some quiet time. Felt like we had just walked into a family residence, a real home away from home.

We affectionately called this rental our Little Princess Castle—and it truly lived up to the name! The house is beautiful, clean, and incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for our group of 8 to relax and feel at home. The layout is perfect for larger groups or families, with separate living areas that offer both privacy and comfort. The large entertainment and dining spaces were ideal for gathering, sharing meals, and enjoying each other's company. It has all the amenities you could need, making it perfect for both short and extended stays. The check-in process was smooth and easy, which made our arrival stress-free. And of course, the highlight was the spectacular view over the Tamar River—absolutely breathtaking and a joy to wake up to each day. We loved our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely long weekend at Misty Hill Lodge, the location was lovely, with the house positioned on a hillside overlooking farmland. Loved watching the cloud inversion clear while enjoying a coffee in the spacious living area. Overall the house was very clean, welcoming and well appointed. Beds were comfy and linen clean. The house was very homely and tastefully decorated.

Such a beautiful location. The gardens and butterflies were really special. We enjoyed our fireplace and the sunsets every night. Feeding Goldie (the pony) and Barbara (the sheep) were a highlight. As well as the personal touches of local wines, home made scone recipe and ingredients and the lemons from the lemon tree. Thank you Ann, it was a lovely family get together. Highly recommended.

We loved Kim & Dee’s place! A great spot for a few days with our family. The house was quiet and peaceful, yet fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and do laundry. Lovely spot for the Tasmania Tasting Trail and Cradle Mountain!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joanna's home! The house was beautiful and we felt right at home straight away. The surroundings were peaceful and the views were stunning. We were greeted straight away by two friendly cats, sheep and a goose who had a lot to say. Such a delight! Joanna was very communicative and we knew that if we had any concerns or questions, we could contact her and expect a fast reply. Thank you again, Joanna, for letting us stay at your wonderful home. Definitely a highlight of our trip! 🦘😊

Diana’s place was beautiful. The furnishings were excellent quality & the extra touches in supplies were amazing. The best of had anywhere in Australia actually & I have travelled a lot. Diana went out of her way to welcome me & ensure I had everything I needed. I would highly recommend.
