Located on a 2-acre homesite, Earl's Cabin is a hand hewn log cabin built in the 1930s and named after its former resident, a local musician. It is warm and welcoming and has everything you'll need. Visit the nearby ghost towns of Nevada City and Virginia City. It won't be hard to decide what's for dinner as you can catch large trout in the waterways bordering the property. A 2-minute drive will bring you to the Ruby River, a few more to the Madison, Big Hole, Jefferson, Beaverhead and so on.

For the adventure traveler, try a night or two in a sheep wagon. Home on wheels to early sheep herders in the mountains of Montana, this hand built wagon sits on our 30 acre homestead. Finished under canvas with tongue and groove pine, this very small space offers a unique lodging experience. Inside is a nice queen size bed, 2 bench seats, and a pull out dining table. Enjoy mountain views from the outside bench, rocker & fire pit. Bathroom facilities in our nearby shop.

Ancient Paths Farm Cabin

Experience on the farm included in your stay. One room main living area, with a full size bed, a kitchenette with full size refrigerator/freezer, electric double burner, microwave, air fryer/toaster oven, outdoor grill, coffee pot, a 3/4 bathroom with a sink, shower & a campers/RV/boat toilet. We have a no pet policy. Options for additional sleeping space: A sectional sofa makes a comfortable bed for a 3rd person. Blankets are provided.
