Beachfront holiday rental in Mbezi Beach, Dar es Salaam

Ik verbleef er met twee vriendinnen. De ontvangst was heel goed geregeld, Jo is een geweldige gastvrouw, die altijd voor ons klaar stond. Ook heel fijn dat er al van alles aanwezig was zoals kruiden, olie etc. Maar het aller allermooiste was toch echt de locatie. Niet normaal mooi, loved it!! Huisje was ook heel knus en gezellig en schoon! Ik raad het iedereen aan

Das Anwesen ist super schön. Durch den grossen Garten hat man seine Privatsphäre und ist trotzdem in der Nähe von Restaurants und Aktivitäten. Am besten war das Aussenbett ❤️ mit einem wahnsinns Blick über Strand und Ozean. Wir haben viel Zeit auch dem Balkon verbracht und einfach genossen. Rama und Tatu haben sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert und bei Fragen sofort reagiert 😊 Für alle die gerne etwas Ruhe haben möchten aber trotzdem mitten drin sein möchten absolut empfehlenswert

Absolutely loved our stay here, the home was exactly like the photos if not better, we were welcomed with them most helpful, hands on, amazing staff. The location as well was perfect right on the beach and close to everywhere in Jambiani, would recommend this place if you are planning to come to Zanzibar !!

I had a lovely stay. I only stayed for two days but I wish I’d booked longer. The apartments are beautiful and quiet. It was my birthday and Greg and his staff made it very special and comfortable for me. He was very responsive to all my messages and was an overall great host.

The house is good, the neighborhood is amazing and neat, and the beach is awesome, the kids loved it, will definitely come back next time.

This home right on the shores of Jambiani Beach is a dream come true. We loved every minute of our stay. Kerstin was an excellent host and communicated exceptionally well. Sulei (the local caretaker) was very helpful and provided daily advice for activities, food, taxis, etc. Overall, this home is in an incredible location and was the perfect place to have a restful vacation.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit bei Cosmina / Ovi. Die Unterkunft ist einfach, bietet aber alles was für die eigene Verpflegung notwenig ist und entspricht exakt der Beschreibung. Wir erhielten vorab wichtige Informationen zum Aufenthalt und wurden freundlich in Empfang genommen. Das Zimmer wurde sogar alle 4 Tage gereinigt, was für ein Air bnb absolut nicht selbstverständlich ist. Am schönsten fanden wir die Lage mit dem Balkon direkt aufs Meer gerichtet. Von dort aus konnten wir sogar bei lokalen Fischern frische Meerfrüchte bestellen. Uns wurde gezeigt wie man die Meeresfrüchte auseinander nimmt und zubereitet, eine einzigartige Erfahrung. Auch der Kitesurfspot war nur wenige Meter entfernt und die sympathische Bar Kimte die wir jeden Tag fürs Après - Kite - Bier aufsuchten, ebenfalls.

We love this spot - the location, the convenience of the kitchen and ample space to sit, work, relax is what we appreciate. Cannot get closer to the beach. Wonderful swimming spot as well. Hassan and Abdi were always helpful and accommodating. Great for a chilled, casual holiday.

An exceptional stay at Villa Bahati! The staff - Naomi, Sue, Timothy, Jeri, Edwin, and Hapini - treated me like family with their genuine warmth and attentive service. The apartment and grounds offered perfect tranquility, while the fresh, delicious food rivaled the nearby Rock restaurant (though the latter is worth visiting for views alone). Timothy expertly arranged all my desired activities, demonstrating the villa's 5-star service. The staff's attention to detail, remembering my preferences and name, was remarkable. Even Naomi and Sue made time to personally welcome me, embodying true hospitality. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and well-cared for throughout my stay. The modern amenities complemented the peaceful atmosphere, and guests could choose between solitude or socializing. Though I rarely revisit destinations, Villa Bahati has earned a spot on my return list!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We stayed six nights and had a wonderful time. The place is quiet, it’s like a little oasis. Raluca and Lee are very good hosts! The breakfast that we enjoyed every morning was by far the best we had and also the curry was absolutely delicious. We can definitely recommend staying with them.

Beautiful house in a heaven of peace not far from Dar, a staff very responsive with Omari. I highly recommend this place to rest for few days. I’ll come back few times.

Parfais ! Logement magnifique avec un cadre très beau et très créatif, un petit monde créé en bord de mer. Nous avons eu la chance de passer deux jours accompagné d’un couple de singes qui ce promener dans la belle végétation de l’hôtel. Je recommande, cependant le logement n’a pas de fenêtres donc ne pas être sensible au divers bruit de la nature ou alors prévoir des boules quies. Merci pour ce logement

Mein Freund und ich waren im März 2021 für 15 Nächte hier und wir sind sehr schweren Herzens nachhause geflogen. Uberwältigend ist das schöne Areal der Anlage: Palmen, wunderschöne Fauna und Flora, Garten sehr gepflegt und liebe zu Details. Die Lage ist traumhaft. Obwohl das lebhafte Fischerdorf ganz in der Nähe ist (3 Min zu Fuß) ist es sehr ruhig. Entspannung ist garantiert :) wenn ihr action und Party haben wollt, seid ihr hier am falschen Fleck ;) Am Abend hört ihr lediglich das Rauschen des Meeres und den Wind. Das Meer, TÜRKIS und GLASKLAR egal ob Ebbe oder Flut, Wind oder Stille, der Sand weiß wie Schnee, richtig kitschig <3 Bei Ebbe muss man lange warten bis man wieder Schwimmen kann oder man nimmt einfach den langen Weg zum Wasser hinein in Kauf. Dadurch dass es einen kleinen feinen Swimmingpool gibt, ist es halb so schlimm! Die Bungalows sind sehr rein und essentiell ausgestattet, im afrikanischen Stil. Luxus ist hinfällig, denn Preis Leistung ist auf jeden Fall befriedigend! Das Essen im Hotelrestaurant ist köstlich, die Portionen sind bei mehreren Gängen auch ausreichend ;) wer Stress und wenig Zeit im Urlaub hat, darf sich hier gratis einer Therapie unterziehen, denn das Tempo und die afrikanische Mentalität zeigen euch deutlich: IN DER RUHE LIEGT DIE KRAFT, HAKUNA MATATA <3 Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und erfüllt euch jeden Wunsch wenn sie können!!! Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt <3 Wer gerne Abenteuer mag, der hat hier ein reiches Angebot an verschiedenen expetitionen und Ausflügen, die ihr hier direkt über die Anlage buchen und bezahlen könnt. Jeder Ausflug wird von dem englischsprechendem Guid begleitet und ihr bekommt sehr viele gute Informationen und seid sicher in guten Händen aufgehoben. Spaß und Freude ist dabei garantiert. Alle hier sind extrem bemüht, dass ihr einen unvergesslich schönen Urlaub habt und es euch rund um gut geht! DANKE AN ALLE, WIR WAREN ÜBERGLÜCKLICH!

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Teenagern für 5 Nächte in Sues Villa. Uns hat die Lage sehr gut gefallen. Man bekommt das Dorfleben mit und ist in dennoch in wenigen Schritten am schönen Strand. Das Haus ist eine kleine Oase und entspricht genau der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Es gab mehrfach Stromausfälle im ganzen Dorf. Aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Das „Teddy“s“ liegt direkt um die Ecke. Hier kann man gut chillen, essen und das Wifi nutzen :-) Wir können Sues Villa uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Dies war der beste Aufenthalt, den wir je hatten! Die gesamte Unterkunft ist wunderschön, komfortabel und mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Sie wird stetig optimiert, obwohl ich nicht weiß, was in Zukunft noch besser werden soll. Der Pool und die Klimaanlage runden es perfekt ab. Der Service war herausragend und das Essen fantastisch – frisch, individuell zubereitet und der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Jeden Morgen kann man sich sein Frühstück abwechslungsreich gestalten, es wird alles möglich gemacht. Auch Mittag- und Abendessen vor Ort lohnt sich extrem! Die organisierten Touren waren perfekt abgestimmt und haben unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Der Guide und alle Fahrer waren immer pünktlich, zuverlässig und haben uns auch zu den Insider-Attraktionen gebracht. Die Hosts sind unfassbar herzliche Menschen und versuchen alles möglich zu machen. Meine Familie war von meinen Erzählungen so begeistert, dass sie nun auch gebucht hat. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!! Absolute Empfehlung

I went with 3 of my friends to celebrate my 40th. The house was immaculate, the place was beautiful, peaceful, so relaxing! There is 24hr security. The maid in the house was so lovely and very attentive. The chef made brilliant food. Susan also has a driver (at additional cost) and he was very friendly, always ready to pick us up at any time we need. The bedrooms were super nice and very comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless and the living space was so relaxing, especially with all the doors open, letting the ocean breeze in.

Wow! This is what this totally hidden gem of a place! We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home literally localated on the beach. Super friendly staff that will always try and accommodate your requests. Winny and Joseph and the masai security took great care of us. The private gardens are enormous with plenty of seating areas to enjoy the sea breeze. Our host Sabrina was such a kind and thoughtful host, she even took time out to come visit us. She recommended great places to order food from and even arranged a local massage therapist to come visit. We would 100% recommend this beautiful hidden home to anyone wanting the luxury of a beach front getaway.

We had a nice stay at Zenies place. The house was in a good place with lots of shopping areas, fast food and restaurants if you don’t have time to cook and amazing ocean view(right by the ocean) My dad fell in love with the house as he likes good things. Zenie was really nice and patient with us when I was late to extend our stay. I’m glad I found a nice place I can always stay when I’m in Dar es salaam without wasting too much time looking for something that is within my taste. I would definitely recommend this place to Airbnb community.

Aida’s place offered such a relaxing and very welcoming environment. Being that the property is right by the beach was very exciting for us. The apartment was spotless, and she offered complementary cleaning which came in handy. The cleaning lady was very kind to accept our request for helping with our dirty laundry. When it comes to communication, Aida is one of a kind. Not only did she effectively communicate, but she was attentive to all our needs and even concerns. She offered suggestions and solutions in order to ensure the guests felt comfortable. As days went by we realized that we picked an airbnb right in the middle of everywhere. It was conveniently close to anywhere we had interest in going. I would stay at Aida’s anytime i visit Dar Es Salaam.
