Family-friendly holiday rentals in Mbezi Beach B

Nice apartment set back from the road in a lovely green tree-shaded compound. The accommodation was very clean and well-supplied, with daily maid service. The compound is secure, with 24-hour guard. Housekeeping staff are always available. The location on the peninsula is very convenient, just across from Slipway and only about ten minutes walk to Village supermarket and other amenities. Highly recommended.

Very nice apartment, close to pretty much everything. We had a couple issues with the bathroom and the maintenance guys were very quick to do the repair. I will definerly look to stay here when l return in March if it's available.

We had a very nice stay in Oyster Bay! The apartment is very spacious and the complex is beautiful. Gloria was a great host: very responsive and helped us with our requests. We will stay again if we are back in Dar es Salaam.

We brought a large group to stay at Prisca's place for two weeks. Prisca was very communicative and extremely accommodating. She purchased additional mattresses, sheets, and towels for our group. She purchased a water dispenser for us when we requested one. There were some problems in the house during our stay (which is common in Tanzania), but her local staff were quick to help us. The house is massive and can accommodate a lot of people and has A/Cs and water heaters throughout. The kitchen is big but not particularly well stocked; we needed to buy a bunch of our own utensils in order to properly cook for so many people. The location is pretty far north of Dar, but it was worth it for the great price and Prisca's great service.

This place deserves more than 5 stars. We spend 6 days with our 5 kids (age between 5 and 11) here and everybody had a great The house is located at such a beautiful place directly at the beach. It is clean and everything what you need is there also the kitchen has everything you need. Sulai is a great help and when you have any questions he can help. He took our kids with into the village to get coconuts and papaya and showed them how to open them. He also organised a local breakfast and dinner made by the woman from the village. The food is amazing you should really try it. Our kids got Henna tattoos also made by one of the woman from the village. In the evening our kids played with the local kids at the beach. We really enjoyed the fact that your not stuck between huge resorts but you can enjoy Zanzibar and meet the local people and experience their culutre. The communication with the Bakar Family was great. All our questions got answered quick and help was provided when needed.

Superb place

We had an amazing time at Liza’s villa! It’s a very beautiful house, especially the pool area and the rooftop. Liza provided a lot of information about the house and the area beforehand, which was appreciated.

Amazing location with endless beachfront right out the front door. Tons of restaurants within a short walk. Pool was amazing, cleaning crew was super great, and cleaned multiple times a day. Included breakfasts were amazing, but we didn’t pay extra to eat lunch or dinner there, since almost all other nearby locations were cheaper.

Andrew and Rachel are excellent hosts, serving great meals and exemplary hospitality. We had great views of the sunrise on the beach while having a cup of coffee. The villa is on the beach which has perfect white sand and easy swimming. The rooms have space to hang clothes and good ventilation from the sea breeze. Reasonably priced beer and wine are always available. Our party of six were extremely happy with our one week stay at the Villa Mina! Between the great hosts/staff and post card setting, we could not have done better!

Recommending for business and leisure travels, located in residential suburbs with all amenities available….closer to the restaurants and shopping malls , ATM’s and all type of transportation…We recommend Magdalena place

This Airbnb was perfect for a getaway from Dar. It is far enough out to feel like you have traveled (but not too far to feel you can’t afford the travel expense). The rooms are so beautifully decorated with a mixture of old and new for a quaint, beach feel. The kitchen… oh I will dream of this kitchen for the rest of my life! The staff was helpful and kind. The communication was quick and clear. Need to get away but don’t want to go too far… this is the place for you!

Beautiful place, just as the pictures show. Super peaceful. Close to the beach. Nice yard with nice plants, chickens, fruit trees. Halima, Wase, and Jonas were very helpful and communicative. Only two small things to be mindful of: plan ahead with Halima on wifi and directions to the location (though my Uber may just have had trouble finding it). It didn’t take away from the experience at all and she was very helpful when I asked, but I could’ve been better about asking earlier. Regardless, I would 100% recommend the place and would love to come back

Another Great Stay! We recently stayed at this property for the second time, and it was just as wonderful as our first visit! The accommodation was perfect for our family, and we loved being just a 10 minute's walk from the beach. The location is unbeatable, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sand. The hosts were always welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We can't wait to come back again! Asante sana Mariam!

The place is at a very good location and the house has very good ventilation, good sea breeze and very close to beach restaurants and supermarkets

Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in Zains Wohnung, die Umgebung ist ruhig mit guter Einkaufsmöglichkeit. Die Wohnung ist gut Ausgestattet und hat 4 Balkone um die Aussicht zu geniessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Very nice and calm place in Oyster Bay. Online Maps seem to have the road name wrong (Yasser Arafat Road instead of Mkwawa Road). Maybe it was recently changed. The apartment is in the same building complex as the Amigos Restaurant (behind it), where you can also have lunch, dinner or a drink in the evening. The apartment at ground level is very well equipped with the kitchen, TV and office desk. It is very spacious and I felt right at home. There is a 24/7 security and electric fence, so no reason to feel uncomfortable. The receptionist and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. You can reach your private balcony with pool view through the bedroom and living room. In front of the entrance, there are often motorcycles or bajajis waiting, or you can take a bolt or uber. To coco beach, you can even walk. I would definitely come back here!

Me and my family completely fell in love with this apartment! The size of the apartment is incredible and was family friendly for our little boy to run around and feel free. The bedrooms were great size, and don’t get me started on the views, especially the view from the master bedroom balcony! We were more than happy on the location of this apartment as it was round the corner from a supermarket that’s friendly to both locals and foreigners. You are only a short taxi ride away from well known restaurants such as The Waterfront or the Seacliff hotel. The security downstairs made me feel safe, and once they were familiar with our faces, we always felt greeted with a friendly smile. The pool is covered from the sun, but we found this family friendly. My only constructive criticism is that it could do with a fresh lick of paint just to refresh and show off how stunning it really is. And some extra towels in the bedrooms. I will be booking again in future, thanks again Zain.

This was our fourth stay at Hans’ place. It’s become our go to landing place when visiting Dar. The location couldn’t be better with great restaurants nearby and a supermarket in the same building.

The host was prompt in response and made every effort to fix the issue. I really appreciated the apartment's location and how spotless it was when I arrived. - J
