Casa Stella Celeste is situated in the quiet, old district of Cartellone, in the heart of Modica. It offers guests a spectacular view of the old town, opposite the baroque Saint George Cathedral. From the central Corso Umberto I, where you can park the car, you can only reach Casa Celeste on feet by taking a narrow street and several flight of steps - as is the case with most accommodations in Modica - but it is definitely doable. Built in 1700 as a noble palazzo, the house still preserves original frescoes and floor tiles. The apartment offers all amenities and will comfortably sleep four. The apartment consists of a main living room w/ mezzanine, a main bedroom with a double bed with barocco frescoes, a kitchen, a dining room and two balconies.
