Tiny house holiday rentals in Mayo

We booked last minute and so happy we did, great spot, so different and peaceful. Already checking the calendar to see when we can go back.

We spent 2 weeks in Connemara with our 2 kids and this was a perfect place to base ourselves from. The house was clean and homely and had everything we needed (including a high chair which was great). The playground just around the corner was a great bonus. Would highly recommend for anyone planning a holiday around Clifden / Connemara.

Very cute cabin in a super cute garden. The way to the cabin is a bit adventurous, but the given instructions are very clear and detailed. We had no issues finding it. We drive a BMW i4 (not AWD) and with some caution it was doable. The beautiful and quiet place is definitely worth it!

Gives you a feeling of your own private island. Scenic, peaceful and yet with all the required facilities. Laurence and his family is lovely. We absolutely loved our stay there. The location has everything - Great view, Beautiful cliffs, clean & untouched beach, Farm.

A delightful place to spend time and well located for exploring Co Mayo. Great hiking and cycling on the doorstep. Dara was helpful throughout our stay. Read the description carefully - a cabin in the woods with a compost toilet might not appeal to everyone! And, check out the sauna on Old Head beach. We'll be back - particularly as our dog had a great time!

Lovely little pod with toilet and a great shower with hot water in a separate pid nearby. Heater and kettle available in the pod. Just a short drive to westport and very quiet at night. We cooked outside and there is room for a bbq but michael had also offered use of the kitchen in the main house. Dont miss the beautiful drive (or cycle!) To doo lough nearby which loops back to westport by croagh patrick.

Oh my goodness, we had an absolutely wonderful time in our hobbit holes! They were so cosy and comfortable, and the hot tubs were just the cherry on top. It was so peaceful and private, and the fire outside was simply magical! The only thing that could be improved would be a bit more info about the shared amenities, like the kitchen. There were plates and cups that we could use, which was a real treat. We absolutely loved our stay! Thank you so much for everything, and we’ll definitely be back!

Micheal’s place was exactly as described - everything was clean, the showers and bathroom were nice and we could use his kitchen for coffee in the morning

Excellent tiny place for two, especially for short breaks. A short drive into the centre of Westport which was excellent for us to enjoy evenings in the town. Natalia offered to drive us into town if we wished. There is plenty to explore in the area with lots of lovely bays. For the more energetic there is always Croagh Patrick!

La casa es muy acogedora. A pesar de ser pequeñita está muy bien equipada. La barbacoa del jardín es maravillosa. Tina nos preparó un desayuno increíble a nuestra llegada!

Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen!! Das Ambiente ist ein kleines Paradies und die Unterkunft gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation war sehr einfach und selbst bei individuellen Rückfragen wurde uns sofort geholfen. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und würden direkt wiederkommen!

Wir waren zum zweitem Mal zu Gast bei Mike in seiner netten Hütte. Die Ausstattung ist für 2 Personen mit Hund ideal. Die Lage ist sehr schön. Es ist allerdings von Vorteil wenn man mit dem Auto da ist. Die Strände von Renvyle sind in der Nähe und sehr schön. Es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um ganz Connemara zu erkunden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, auch weil Mike und seine Frau sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber sind. Wir bekamen zur Begrüßung einen Apfelkuchen und auch unser Hund ein paar Leckereien.

We loved the Hare's Hideout. It was spotless, tastefully and lovingly decorated, cosy, and private. The surrounding countryside is stunning. Noreen answered all of our questions beforehand promptly. Check-in was a breeze. We would definitely stay again!

I was curious and wouldn't have thought from the architecture that it would be so easy to move within the accommodation. Surprisingly, it offered a lot of space and I was able to organise myself well, even with a large suitcase. Nevertheless, it was super cosy. The bed in particular was very comfortable and I slept really well. Actually it was better organised and equipped than some ‘real’ apartments. I was completely satisfied :)

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la tiny house de Tom. Le logement offre une vue à couper le souffle sur l’océan et l’île d’Omey, un véritable tableau vivant à toute heure de la journée. L’intérieur, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, est parfaitement agencé. Malgré l’espace réduit, tout est pensé pour le confort et la praticité. Nous avons adoré vivre à deux dans ce cocon si bien conçu ! Les équipements sont complets et de qualité : grille-pain, plaques de cuisson, frigo/freezer, télévision avec fonction Cast, Wi-Fi… tout est réuni pour se sentir chez soi après une journée de randonnée ou d’exploration des environs. Au-delà du logement, Tom est un super hôte : accueillant, attentionné et toujours réactif. Un grand merci à lui de proposer un lieu aussi unique à la communauté Airbnb. Si vous rêvez d’un séjour en harmonie avec la nature sans renoncer au confort, ne cherchez plus : c’est chez Tom qu’il faut aller !

We had such a great time at the Heron Hideaway! Such a lovely spacious and comfy place with lots of natural light and view into the lush green surroundings! We loved the calm and peaceful environment, where you could hear the birds and the close by river! We also enjoyed dipping in the cold water and had some meditative moments 🤩 In the evening when it was raining,we were happy to light up the stove and snuggle up. We had a wonderful time-off! Also Mary and Eamon were the perfect hosts! We we’re really happy to stay at their little piece of paradise! We‘d love to come back one day 🥰 thanks a lot! 🙏🏻

Pat and Caroline are the most lovely welcoming hosts one could wish for. I only stayed one night in the cabin but got that reconnection with nature I was hoping for. The cabin itself is basic of course but I was spoiled with a glass of wine and the use of the bath in the main house which were greatly appreciated injections of luxury and relaxation. Thanks Pat and Caroline for the warm welcome!

We booked this place with the children in mind, hoping to give them an unforgettable experience and we got so much more than we imagined. Dermot was a phenomenal host. He greeted us with a smile and gave us exceptional recommendations of things to see in Sligo. Our time glamping was cozy, heartwarming and we shared lots of laughs. We were surrounded by breathtaking views and the company of the wonderful farm animals. Thank you Dermot for making our time in Sligo a memorable one!

I really feel we found a little Gem of a place to stay in West Ireland and we will be recommending to all of our friends. Everything was perfection - from the hospitality to the cabins themselves - great location and lots of extras and attention to detail. Ciaran and his family are lovely people and you can feel that they genuinely want you to have a good time while you’re there - nothing more you can ask for really! They also have a private island that they rent for big do’s and we are defs gonna check that out at some point. Photos look amazing!

Steve’s place is just wonderful, we had a great time here. He’s a lovely host and even made us breakfast for both mornings. He was really accommodating for our v late check in! Such an eclectic house in a serene and beautiful area. Highly recommend!
