This house was absolutely stunning from the moment you drove in. I 100% recommended booking your stay here if you would like a peaceful weekend in a beautiful well-maintained home.

We had a great experience! The house was far enough from downtown Dells to be quite and peaceful but close enough to be convenient to everything. Jacob was extremely responsive. The house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Great spot! Friendly and attentive host, very cozy cabin. Hot tub was great, will definitely try to visit next time on a weekend that it’s not raining or snowing the whole time though 🙃

This was my second visit and it won’t be the last! I appreciate the beautiful, quiet setting, cozy space, and amenities and that I can bring my dog with me. I enjoyed afternoon campfires and the hot tub on dry days and proximity to town and Sundara Spa. I’ll echo what other guests have mentioned about low water pressure in the shower, but that’s not enough to affect my rating or desire to return. Whisky Wood is one of my happy places.

We loved our stay. From the moment we reserved the Lilikoi to our checkout, Daryl was very attentive and responsive. It blew us away on how peaceful it was there. My girlfriend’s son rode a bike for the first time without training wheels, went kayaking for his first time, and learned archery. There was a lot of wildlife and we spent most of our time around the camp fire and surrounding woods. Dog friendly trails and lodging. Do yourself a favor a book a weekend or a week. You won’t regret it.

Will definitely be coming back here every time we are in the area. The cabin felt Like home, with amazing views of their buffalo herd and rolling hills. Pristinely clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Exactly what we needed.

We were excited to celebrate both of our birthdays 🎉 by going to Sundara Spa and staying here in a private location in the woods. This adorable A-frame is most everything we wanted for our quick getaway! It’s cute and cozy with nice thoughtful touches and amenities throughout. Stephanie & Jason thought of everything and communication was great! Our only slight criticism is that there are neighbors close by everywhere and we could not tell that from pictures. Since it’s still early in spring at this time, I imagine when the trees surrounding the property are in full bloom, there’s more privacy for the space in general and for being in the hot tub outside. But we’d still visit again in a heartbeat because it was still so peaceful and quiet and cozy. Loved it 😍

We were in the area for workshops. We were gone quite a bit but it was a very comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day. I would like to go back when I can spend more time at his place and on the lake.

The cabin is great! Tranquil, relaxing, comfy, cozy, are the top words that come to mind describing it. We had a relaxing weekend in the cabin and explored a few establishments in the area. David is a great host and is very friendly, attentive (checked in with us to make sure we were settled) and has done a wonderful job with the place. Can’t wait to return in the future! Just a wonderful 3 day stay during a curling bonspiel in Columbia County. What a beautiful cabin tucked back in a private wooded area with a wealth of wildlife ( deer, turkeys, eagles). Melissa gets all the details right and takes away any worries associated with staying away from home. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for something that feels like home. . Absolutely amazing serene getaway! We loved the sauna each day and even took cold dips in the crystal clear creek out back! Great space, plenty of room for our family and wonderful warm open living space to relax by the fire and cook a meal. 10/10 will be back again.

Our family absolutely loved this place. Enough space for everything, beautiful home. The best part was the setting, quiet and peaceful. We were able to enjoy coffee outside in the morning and watch the deer in the fields. We would absolutely love to stay here again. Great recommendations and Corey left some local items for us to try.
