Holiday rentals with a pool in Matemwe

Our stay at the villa was perfect, we enjoyed all the peace and quiet that the villa offers. Everything you need is within walking distance (beach, restaurants, bar, etc.), where you are greeted warmly by the locals every time, as if you have been living there for years. This is a little gem, hidden in a local area. Highly recommended.

Wow I don’t even know where to start! This was truly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in Zanzibar. As an Airbnb property this one completely exceeded my expectations. It offers amazing value for money.I had such a peaceful time watching the sunset and listening to the sound of the waves. As for the kids words can’t even describe it they had the time of their lives, especially enjoying the infinity pool. I only wish we had booked a longer stay, but unfortunately, it was time to head home. I will definitely be coming back to this home away from home. Having visited Zanzibar several times, I can confidently say that it’s hard to find a place like this near town with full AC, reliable WiFi, fully equipped kitchen. We even made lovely breakfasts for the kids. Bonus: it’s just 5 mins from the airport and only 15 mins to Stone Town. Truly worth every penny.And as for Mohammed what a kind gentleman. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I recommend this

Harriet's place is magical and unique. A secret garden getaway. A restful escape with a private pool for swimming any time, day or night. Be sure you bring all the food, beverages, and food prep items you need. The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking for two. It is a long journey down a bad road to get there. But once you are in, enjoy. I look forward to returning. Thank you Harriet.

Very nice villa completely private. Dii answers very quick and helpful. Sulayman amazing staff and helpful with everything. Villa had everything we needed and more.

Our stay in Uroa was wonderful. Emanuele put us in touch with his property manager who helped us with everything from airport transfers, setting up tours and even getting some medicine when some of our family came down with the flu. Uroa is a little bit remote in terms of amenities but that is what we were looking for. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance on the beach but not much more than that. We enjoyed walking the beach every day, swimming and wading out to the sand bar at low tide. There are also people/companies on the beach if you want to setup snorkeling tours or watersports. The caretaker and the housekeeper do a wonderful job keeping up the property and the housekeeper even made a few meals for us with the groceries we bought in Stonetown! The house was beautiful and in good repair. Beds were good and the pool was great to relax in. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, just what we needed at the end of our trip to Tanzania!

The place is wonderful and clean, the service is excellent, and the staff is very cooperative and friendly. I would like to thank Ramadan for his excellent handling and his care for the visitors. Communication with host Yussuf was seamless and timely. His responses were clear and concise. He gave us a good discount for our family of 4. The co host pendo was super kind. She checked us in and also took us to the pier restaurant for that much needed dinner by the ocean. She also recommended places to shop at in case we needed to. The caretaker was also polite, present and alert. The place is very clean, quiet and most of all I appreciated the private pool. Thank you Yussuf and Pendo

Fumba Town is a very nice place to stay: close to the beach and not far from Stone Town and the airport. The apartment is very neat and with tasteful furniture and good facilities like a washing machine and vacuum cleaner. An umbrella came in handy too :-) because it was the rainy season. Kwetu kwenu beach club is nearby and chill with amazing sunset views. Highly recommended, the apartment and the town.

I can only recommend the place, from communication to booking, to transportation from the airport to the welcome and accommodation to the apartment, we were happy with everything. The family apartment provides plenty of space and excellent cooking facilities. The beds are very comfortable and the terrace is superbly adapted to relax in privacy thanks to the grown beautifully blooming bushes. Next, the generous breakfast included and 2 pools, at least one of which we had to ourselves at any time. The area is very well maintained, the pools are clean and the surroundings of the apartments are cared for. It's about a 5-minute walk to the beach, as well as the beginning of the village, where you can shop for everything you need, and also observe the local life while walking. Thank you so much to the owners and the entire staff for a great stay.

Great place to live, very beautiful area, big pool, and delicious coffee in the recreation area

I can't say enough great things about this place, and if we're ever lucky enough to return to Paje we will absolutely stay here again! The place is an apartment in what is really more like a gated community but it's also super close to everything so it's the best of the both worlds - We loved having the pool, communal working space, cafe, parking for our rented scooter, and laundry available and felt super safe because of the security. It was also really nice having a real space to make our own for the week, with a living room + tv, kitchen, and extra bedroom. The beach is a short walk away and there are tons of restaurants on the main the street that are actually better and cheaper then the beach restaurants. If you're only in Paje for a night or two and want to stay steps away from the beach or be right in the middle of the party scene, this might not be the place for you, but we saw a friends room at one of the beach clubs/hotels and were so happy we were staying here instead :)

The stay at Mars place was excellent. The place looked exactly like the images. It was very clean as well which I liked. Mars was a very responsive and helpful host and would highly recommend this place. It is a bit of a distance to get to stone town but if you are in no rush theres several available taxis and tuk tuks you can hire. Thanks Mars.
