Very relaxing place with beautiful landscapes. We were able to observe marine mammals in the distance. Access to the beach is easy and very quiet. I'll be back!

Great place across the road from the lake, beautiful view, peaceful and quiet area. Close to Bic National Park and about 30 min to Rimouski for good restaurants and other things to see.

La Tanière is a charming, quiet and intimate place on the banks of the Matane River. When we arrived, everything allowed us to feel quickly at home: impeccable place, well-equipped, smells good, illuminated, warm and decorated with care. Easy and fast communication with Cathy and Annicka. We loved the lapping of the water, the singing of the many birds, the sun and the breeze, as well as the terrace allowing a magnificent panorama of the river. A relaxing and refreshing stay. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.

Loved our stay. The breathtaking view of the magnificent St. Lawrence River, the brightness of the chalet, its location. The feeling of being alone in the world in a well-wrapped cocoon. The chalet is well located for a short getaway. On the other hand, you have to plan food before arriving; salt, sugar, pepper and coffee. The beds were comfortable.

The chalet looked exactly like the photos presented. The view is incredible, the beach directly accessible from the chalet, we took the opportunity to paddle board when the sea was calm. There's everything you need in the cottage to cook, wash and even some board games. There were two of us so the small sofa was perfect for us and very comfortable. The only thing we noticed and it's out of the owner's control but it was impressive how we could hear the city on the other side of the water (Dalhousie). If you come during the hot summer period, there is a standing fan in the chalet but I would bring others. In short, we had a great, peaceful stay, and we were very well accommodated.

Marie-Pier’s chalet was the perfect stop on our trip - beautiful spot by Lac Matapédia, well-equipped, very clean chalet and the most comfortable bed we’ve slept in in some time! Marie-Pier greeted us when we arrived and we had a very quiet, peaceful night.

This is a great place to unwind and relax. This was my second time going and the fall colors made the place even more magical than the first time. Walking the trails to discover the sculptures and other surprises is a must. You can feel all the work and energy of the hosts, it's beautiful!

What a memorable stay! I spent 12 days at Nancy's and I didn't want to leave......The house is well located and the sunsets are magical. The sound of waves at bedtime is so relaxing. Its decor and books on site make the stay too short to see everything, perfect for a relaxing retreat😉. The host responds quickly to questions and she is really friendly. I recommend her house +++ I'm already looking to book my next stay with her 😉🥰💖

The place was nice and cosy. It is a bit open for larger groups (only to closed rooms to sleep), but the common areas are really confortable. Really a nice location, close to a lot of outdoor venues. I would go back anytime. A+

Ginette was very easy to communicate with. Her reply time is very quick and greatly appreciated. She was very accommodating when requiring additional space and our workers loved the place. We had a few workers stay from Nova Scotia and said the local area was nice and what made it better was staying in such a warm, welcoming place. Should we return to the area, we would definitely book Ginnette's place again.
