Holiday rentals with beach access in Mason County

Great place to stay for a few days in Ludington! It was within 15 minutes of walking downtown and right across from Stearns Beach. We loved watching the sunset every night.

Great area of town, walkable to beach and restaurants.

Great place. The price is just fine. I'd like the heater a little bit hotter, but... the same happens in all motels. I would return.

Perfect fit for us. Beach & Park across the street. Walked to town for dinner @ Hamlin Restaurant, only place to eat on Sunday evening, exceptional food. Early in May 2025 cool winds but a sunny 2 days. Got a super picture of the sunset across the street from our room. Chairs outside our room, benches & picnic tables to enjoy the outdoors, friendly people walking & look @ the stars on a clear night.

We were originally supposed to been here two weeks before. My wife became ill three days before we were to leave and Melissa worked with us to find alternative dates. A fantastic host and very friendly. The space has everything you need and more. The town and the coast, extremely charming. Fall of the year, beautiful! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay along the coast of Michigan. You can see the water from the window and walk two streets to the beach, simply cannot say enough about the house and the area where we are staying.

Visited Ludington to fish for a few days. Sarahs place was great. Has a beach feel and the beach is an easy walk away. Loved the house and town. Great shops and restaurants close. Sarah was extremely helpful.

This house is just an 8 min walk or 2 min bike ride to the beach. We used our bikes to get everywhere and didn’t even need our car for the weekend. The house was clean and spacious. Even though it is only 3 bedrooms, it Had plenty of sleeping spaces. We loved the ping pong table in the garage. The host was responsive before and during our trip and quickly answered all our questions. Great air b, we had 0 complaints and would 100% stay here again.

My family and I selected Ellie’s house for fall break. We were seeking a destination that would help us recharge, relax and recoup. The setting of this home is so beautiful and relaxing. The back patio is perched above the picturesque Lake Hamlin. The house is equipped with many windows to help you enjoy the view from inside as well. We found just what we were looking for. I must give Ellie the highest compliment possible for her care, responsiveness, and friendliness. We had all needs met and she communicated very well before and during our stay. We would like to come back again someday! My family gives this home a 5/5.

If you’re looking to get away from it all, this is the perfect opportunity. This cottage will allow you to enjoy a no stress vacation. We had 7 over 60 women in in our group. It is a large place with tons of beds. All stairs had railings on them. Bathrooms did not have railings which made it difficult for some of us. Also there was no outside lighting which made it difficult for some of us. The lake was nice to swim in and the large umbrella near the beach was very nice to have. We enjoyed a beautiful campfire. Al in all it’s a perfect place for a vacation but might need a few tweaks for seniors 😀

The location was amazing! So great to be a stones throw away from the beach and the beautiful sunsets over the lake! Greatly appreciate that the kitchen was stocked. The room with the bunk beds and kids play area was amazing for the littles! Would definitely stay again!

David’s rental was the perfect place for our yearly family vacation, consisting of 7 adults and 3 children. The house was as described. It was very clean, and everything was in excellent condition. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals. I especially liked how large the fridge was. Three bathrooms were great to have with a large group. We spent a lot of time at the beach, playing and canoeing. Whenever I had a question, David answered promptly. He even offered to mail something to me that was left behind when we left. I could tell David and his wife took pride in their house. If you’re thinking of renting there, don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it!

Melissa and her team deliver an unforgettable experience. The complex is spotless, well maintained and modern, but this unit in particular has incredible charm. Abundance of natural light, adorable decor and every amenity you could imagine. Beautiful, well appointed and stocked kitchen and baths. Beyond the property itself, I can’t say enough positive things about the hosts. From day one I felt like I was welcomed to Ludington with open arms and given a wealth of information about the town. Every question I had was answered within minutes regardless of the time, and with the most friendly disposition. I feel like I’ve known the hosts for a lifetime, they are folks who CARE! Their hospitality shines through every conscientious decision they make, and every interaction with their guests. Saying goodbye to this condo was hard, I’ve never felt more “home” anywhere in my life. My time in this rental was so wonderful, I decided to move to the area. You will love your time here in Ludington!

Ludington Explorer was very comfortable, clean, and located in a beautiful location. We enjoyed watching the Badger go out from the living room windows and balcony, and the views of the marina. The hosts have thought of everything. There was a Keurig with k-cups, beach chairs and towels for guest use, and lots of other little details. The unit was as pictured and described. We had a great time. Would stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this place! The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Everything was super simple with the check-in and the place was just as advertised with beautiful views of the water and the Badger. We have already asked if we could come back another time next summer! Easy walk to the lake and downtown. We loved it!

We loved our stay!! Melissa came to meet us and was so kind. Communication was amazing! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I grew up going to Ludington in the summer and this was our first time staying at Lakeside. We will definitely stay there again. Wonderful location with walkable distance to several restaurants, parks/playgrounds, beach and several other activities!!

Melissa was easy to work with, toured us thru the condo on arrival (helpful) and friendly. Condo had a beautiful view and very walkable to just about everything. Would recommend to others and definitely stay again if in the area.

This is a delightful place to stay. The condo was clean, quiet, and the porch was lovely with direct views of the Badger ferry, the children's playground, and sculpture park right below us! Melissa and team did a great job walking us through garage and door access, and garbage removal. Every amenity was provided; from soap and shampoo to garbage bags and tin foil! Melissa made several suggestions for places to eat and it was great every time. I definitely recommend this condo!

My partner and I were visiting Ludington for a wedding and found Ryan's place to be the perfect home base. We were within walking distance from great shops, restaurants, and the beach. The apartment was so much fun to explore and Ryan was a wonderful host. We hope to be back someday soon.
