Holiday rentals with a patio in Mascalucia

A very convenient place as a base for sightseeing. We had a car that could be parked easily. Beautiful views. 🤩 The apartment had everything you could need, plus a lot of space. Both the living room and the bedroom and kitchen could go out onto the balcony. On one side, there was a beautiful view of the majestic Etna, and on the other, the sea. And the terrace on the roof 👌🏻🤩 You could really feel the Italian atmosphere 😉 Very responsive and helpful host. I highly recommend the place 😉

Carlotta was a wonderful host, the Apartment was very nice, bright and clean. The Balcony for coffee in the Morning was our Highlight! The neighborhood felt a Little unsafe for two women, but everything we wanted to do in the City was in walking distance.

The room is well decorated and designed with small details and the space is very comfortable to use. There is a large balcony to sunbathe. The host is also very good and will generously help us solve the problem. I highly recommend everyone to stay and experience it.

We were very pleased with our stay. Carla is a very nice and always available hostess who makes you feel well taken care of. The apartment is very nice overall. The beds were comfortable, and both the linens and towels were clean. Our personal highlight was the view...simply fantastic! We also liked the pool area, but the loungers were unfortunately a bit uncomfortable. Convenient: There are two paths into town. Unfortunately, we only discovered easier and faster access after a few days...a little tip for future guests to take a look around right at the beginning. Overall we had a very nice time and can absolutely recommend the place. Thank you, Carla, for the warm hospitality!

Spent a very nice 3 nights here, and very happy with our stay. Had excellent pizzas at local restaurants recommended by Gabriella, and nearby bakery was top notch. Absolutely requires a car. If you can handle Sicilian driving then the driveway is not a big deal. Plan on 1 hour drives to Etna, Taormina, Catania.

Super clean and nice apartment. The stair up to the apartment is a bit steep and narrow, but once inside it is worth it :) Good communication with the host. We liked the area, quite and genuine but still walking distance to the more busy and central areas.

This en-suite room including a kitchenette matches the photos and the balcony is a bonus, where you can have a drink or a bite with a garden view. The location is great! There are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and of course the seafront and promenade. I think this place was good value for money and the local recommendations were very helpful.

The accommodation was perfect, the space is even more spacious than it looks in the photos. Very nice rooms and the master bathroom is superb. The view is breathtaking! Two terraces with a direct view of Etna and the city. What a pleasure to have breakfast with such a view! The pool is very nice and the deckchairs/garden chairs are very comfortable. Please note that access to the pool is only allowed until 6:30 pm. The hosts live on the ground floor of the house but remain very discreet. The kitchen was very well equipped. As a bonus, small treats for us, such as bread, jams, nutella, small cakes and refreshing drinks on arrival. We felt at home and will come back without hesitation if we return to the area 👍🌸🙃🤩

A perfect 2 night stay at Andrea’s place. The jacuzzi was a perfect addition as got quite chilly at night being up in the mountains. A very comfortable home and could have stayed a whole week! A perfect quiet stay in beautiful surroundings. Thank you so much!

What a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, with homemade wine, olive oil, and fresh cherries from the garden. The hospitality was truly exceptional. Thanks to the fantastic recommendations, we discovered restaurants we never would have found on our ohne and each one was a hidden gem. The accommodation itself is full of character and charm. Every piece of furniture and decoration seems to have its own story. And the view was absolutely breathtaking! We couldn’t get enough of it. All in all, a perfect holiday with plenty of relaxation. We’d love to come back! Thank you for everything!

(+) - very nice hosts - possibility to use the garden and pool - parking space - enclosed area - air conditioning - large space - mosquito screens ( unfortunately, some mosquitoes were always inside) - there were uncomfortable sleeping pillows, but a new one was delivered right after the reported issue (-) - I only used one pot that was dirty from the last guests - lots of dust behind the TV ( no thorough cleaning ) - once we left peanuts on the table ( in a bowl ), lots of ants appeared - No new sponges or cloths left behind ( some were old in the bowl under the sink ) These drawbacks didn't lower my rating, but these should not happen to Super Hosts The biggest drawback is the unpleasant smell in the bedroom ( it's hard to tell : mold, moisture, fungus, or something else ) . Summary : The owners, location, and surroundings of the cottage met my expectations. Unfortunately, the cottage we slept in doesn't deserve 5

This place is absolutely beautiful with an amazing atmosphere. The surroundings are charming and full of character, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your stay. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything you need. I truly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable experience.

The apartment is very comfortable and in a great location, close to restaurants, bars and tourist spots. The park across the street is beautiful! My mother and I loved it. We didn't have any problems with access as Marianna was very clear with the directions. Without a doubt, if I return, I will return to this accommodation.

Clear recommendation. Ottavio was a very pleasant host. We spent 11 wonderful days here and enjoyed the location of this apartment. We were able to travel from here to the east coast of Sicily very comfortably by bus and train. The apartment was sensational for this. It is only a few steps from the metro. Within a few minutes, we were at the main train station and one stop further in the tourist centre of Catania. The first coffee in the sun on the terrace sweetened our start to the day. The beds are very good, the pillows were okay. We were able to cook very well here, but the pizzerias and the ice cream parlour nearby are highly recommended.

This place exceeded our expectations and was one of nice surprises of our trip. The place is modern, clean, spacious and has a fantastic view. The location is extremely convenient for exploring Taormina. It was also very close to a supermarket. The hosts were very helpful. The only thing to consider is that there are a lot of steps so it would not be good for someone with mobility issues. Besides that, I highly recommend. Excellent value

Conveniently located close to the main area and easy to access from the airport via public transport. Very authentic Sicily - the place came with great recommendations of places to go and foods to try. I very stupidly left some jewellery in the apartment and realised about half way to the airport. It had no monetary value but extremely high sentimental value - Claudia was so helpful and was able to get it from the cleaners and send it back to me!!! I am forever grateful!!! Some things to note regarding the apartment: 1. There are a few flights of stairs to tackle to get up to the apartment. 2. on the first night we stayed the noise from the bar next door was VERY loud in the main bedroom, consider earplugs. Everything was as described and easy to find and host communication was great!

We loved staying at Gaetano’s place. The position is perfect with its view over the amphitheatre and the apartment itself is super stylish. We really felt that it was a highlight of our visit to Sicily. The apartment is also perfectly positioned for exploring lovely Catania. We’d certainly return to Catania and would most definitely stay at Gaetano’s beautiful apartment.

we loved our 5 night stay here. We walked about 15mins to Isola Bella beach each day and drove up to the prestine town at night. The unit was spotless. The sunrises were incredible and the views were unbeatable. The best part was Dorotea's hospitality and responsiveness. I highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.
