Among them is Houshijetsul, a guesthouse located in a quiet residential area of Gurye-eup, which offers convenient transport links. The name ‘Hooushijissei’ comes from the first line of the poem ‘Chunya Heiou’ by the Tang Dynasty poet Du Bo, ‘Hooujishi-jissei (好雨知時節)’, which means ‘Good rain knows the right time to fall’. We created this place in the hope that it would also serve as a space for travellers to take a moment to rest during the most wonderful moments of their lives. With exclusive use of the second floor, you can enjoy a quiet stay without any disruption to your flow, and the ridges of Nogodan and Wangsiru Peak stretch out beyond the window. A place where the mountains open the day in the morning and close it in the evening. Location is another advantage. Located in the heart of Gurye-eup, it has good public transport access, Gurye's famous bakeries, cafés and restaurants It's within walking distance.
