We will have very happy memories of this stay, it started with a very pleasant and unexpected surprise at the welcome, I will not write what kind of surprise, because maybe the surprise is adapted to the arriving guests. Antra took care of every aspect of our expectations during our stay, the rooms nicely decorated, the bathroom in the old style, which suited us because they were very functional, clean everywhere. Close to the beach, a shortcut of about 3 minutes. Nice starting point for the bikes we had with us. Sharing the kitchen (fully equipped) was not at all problematic, and again a surprise at the end, this time with home-made product:) I have not mentioned the very interesting conversations with Antra, not only about what to see in the area, or in Riga, which, thanks to the train connection and the possibility of taking the bikes there, was an unforgettable experience. Many thanks once again!

Our stay at Egons’ place was a peaceful, nature-filled experience! From the forest surrounding the little settlement, to the beach of the Gulf of Riga literally 100 meters away from the property - it was great for nature lovers. Egons was very friendly and responsive, and had an interesting story about his place - just talk to him :) Unfortunately during our stay there was a mosquito plague going on so we couldn’t properly enjoy the garden and the outside amenities- but l I’m sure they are great! Only downside would be that it is somewhat remote - an hour by bus from Riga - and the bus stops going at around 20:00. However, some advance planning or using Bolt should get you going ;) Well recommend visiting Egons’ cozy wooden house in the forest - you live close to the family and you feel the warmth! Thank you, Egons and the fam, we would love to stay again sometime!

It was fun staying there, we were on our own on the campsite and had everything for ourselves. Even though we booked quite spontaneously, the host answered quickly and everything went quite smoothly

Me and my family stayed in this apartment and it was amazing. Raitis left out clear instructions for the WiFi ,local restaurants. The place was clean and decorated beautifully. Felt like I was at home . Shops was near by and good transport links. The host was helpful and answered any questions I had. I really recommend this apartment for any families. I stayed here for two nights during the off-season, so I was the only camper there. At first, I was nervous (as a solo female traveler,) but Gavin was very kind and chill—and even provided me with food! There is a shower inside which you are allowed to use if you ask. The location has so much personality, and it’s perfect for an alternative-soul who loves a rugged and somewhat edgy outdoor experience. It’s also pretty easy to get to the city centre. It’s the kind of stay that you can’t wait to tell your friends (and future grandkids) about! “You’ll never believe where I stayed when I was in Latvia!” Remember: there’s a lot available to you if you simply ask!

Great apartment

Perfect stay with beautiful surrounding for hiking lovers and dog owners. Close to the sea and forest. Quiet and peaceful place to unwind and relax. Friendly and proactive host, nice neighbors. The apartment has everything you need.

We spent 16 great, quiet, relaxing days in the beautiful house with the fantastic garden and enjoyed every day. We used the pool every day. We were able to walk to the most beautiful beach we visited in Latvia in less than half an hour from the house, and all you had to do was take a nice walk through an enchanting forest. Riga was also reachable in just under half an hour by car - or a little more by train - which we did many times. The house, kitchen and bathrooms were equipped with all amenities, plus very well maintained and totally quiet. We didn't even use the sauna(s) in the summer. A great vacation with a friendly and accommodating hostess. Thanks!

A beautiful Art Nouveau house with an interesting history that the owners want to reset, take care and tell us about. A warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere. The place is simple but beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Exciting and memorable place for children and adults.

Highly recommend this apartment to family or a couple. Everything was super clean, if you care about spotless environment this apartment won’t disappoint you. Everything was well thought out, things were left to keep the apartment clean as you stay. Very comfortable, beautiful and moser design. We loved it.
