Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Marracuene District

We had a wonderful stay at Malema's place. It is quiet and peaceful, you only hear the sound of the waves, and with a beautiful view of Maputo city. We went with our two dogs, and the fact that the compound was fenced and big enough for them to run freely was definitely a plus. As you open the backgate you are immediately on the beach, perfect for walks. The house is charming and well-equipped. And the assistance from both Malema and Nkossi on site was just perfect.

Casa Tsakani was exactly what we were looking for nature, peace, tranquility, privacy and with a bit of an adventure (loved the boat ride to reach this piece of paradise)! As mentioned be prepared with all your desired fixings due to the remoteness and you are set! We forgot a couple little local ingredients from the market; garlic, lemon and pili peppers but our boat captain managed to have them delivered, to add to our feast of fresh fish organized by the ever so helpful caretaker Joao. The lagoon is shallow and easy to refresh yourself at the beach below. With a bit of energy, hike over the dunes 15-20 minutes and find yourself with a gorgeous windswept beach for sundowners and some splashing about (but was too wild for us to attempt to swim)! Alternately the sunsets are also gorgeous from the porch! Spent majority of our stay outdoor living with the comfy outdoor furniture! Not fancy but views and breeze are the treasures of Tsakani. All we needed to make Bilene a highlight of Moz

Helga is very helpful friendly and called the taxi driver to explain directions in how to get there. This is the second time we stayed there. It’s very well set up and she even helped provide breakfast supplies so we could go straight to sleep after a long day of travel.

Bianca's was everything my family and I were looking for. A pool woul make the experience even greater! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The Mapulene house is beautiful and has lived up to my expectations and that of my family. Calm Zone, beautiful house, clean and tidy. We had no water or light problem. Pedi Glasses of Sparkling Wine and I found it as promised😃. But I advise you to pay more attention to the dishes to always see if everything goes according to the number of guests. In this case, we had spoons, forks and knives less. And I suggest you buy some scissors for the kitchen (woman thing😅). No further commentary. Congratulations for the beautiful house. I will return for sure.🙏🏽🫂

The house was very warming and confortable. Alfonso and his family welcomed us very well and were helpful for anything we needed. It is located near the beach, very quiet and beautiful. We had a wonderful time there!

ive had an excellent stay! The house is exactly as in the photos - clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The location is quiet and safe, ideal for resting, and at the same time close to everything I needed. The host was very attentive and helpful throughout my stay, responding quickly whenever I needed anything. I would recommend it without hesitation and would definitely stay here again!

Over the decades we always used Maputo as our halfway stopover into Moz. This time we thought of trying a new place 1hr further North and glad we did. This will be our new halfway stop going forward. Highly recommended :)

This is a great place. Easy walk into town and to the beach, off the main road so not too noisy and has a beautiful garden with pool. The staff are friendly and welcoming and Frederic was always on hand giving helpful arrival instructions. The pool table is an added bonus! Would thoroughly recommend

For a peaceful, quiet retreat, Alain's place is perfect. Sitting on the wooden deck, it seems that the house is completely isolated, yet it's only a short walk to the beach. It's a lovely, comfortable 'home from home' with a well-equipped kitchen and an outside cooking area with sink, that comes in very useful when cleaning the morning's fish and seafood, bought on the beach from the boats as they come back from sea. Lovely!

The apartment was very clean and we felt very safe. A little communication difficulties between Antonio and us as we don't speak Portuguese. But Elena communicated very well between us.

We had a lovely stay at Leone's house. Everything was exactly as advertised, and having a private pool was an excellent addition for all the kids. We had too many people to all fit into the house, so some of the guests camped in the garden, and there was plenty of space for them, including a full bathroom outside the house that they could use. We will be back.

Beautiful self-catering place and an awesome stay! Looks exactly like the pictures. Had 2 days stay and enjoyed it very much. Road was abit muddy but it added to the adventure. Just next door , Cova, have the best lunches to munch away real Mocambique style!

Great space for a beach getaway.

Nice place, close to the beach. The stuff and the owner are very friendly and helpful. I was 2 relaxing weeks there, it is a quiet place with a nice swiming pool and great athmosphere
