Beachfront holiday rental in Marquette County

This was the first vacation we've taken with our two little ones, and Jeff & Angie's place couldn't have been better. Angie communicated with us before the trip, gave us tons of info to help ease us getting there and checking in, and were there when we pulled in. The cabins were so family friendly that we never questioned if our kids were safe, and each night ended with all the familes around the fire pit together while all the kids played. They had tons of options to borrow to enjoy the lake right there, and the cabins were stocked so well that all we had to bring was food. The location is great too for exploring the U.P. We will be booking again next time we head up north.

Jeff & Angie were great hosts...both stopped by to talk with us & asked us about our family & gave great suggestions on places to visit. Angie sent detailed texts with all the info we needed before we arrived and before we departed. The place had everything we needed & much more: including kayaks/SUP boards, paddle boats, fishing dock, campfire wood, charcoal grill, & much more and was so peaceful! I even bought a cute shirt from their merch selection to advertise and tell my friends about it!!

Robin’s place is a lovely airbnb stay. It’s artful, cozy, and meticulously clean. We loved the gated deck to relax with our pup in the mornings and at the day’s end. It’s literally steps to a gorgeous beach. It is a drive into town, but the benefit is the peaceful, beautiful environment. Robin was delightfully friendly and helpful, available when needed and respectful of our privacy. It was perfect for our first trip to lovely Marquette, and won’t be our last. Thanks, Robin!

We really appreciate you letting us stay, we couldn't have enjoyed are trip anymore. It was amazing to be able to come to a place we're we could destress for a a while while went went out and were little explorers. The cottage was beautiful and we would love to stay here again. We loved it so much we thought about moving up there in the future.

We had the most magical time staying on Pinecrest Northwoods to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday! The cabin was so charming & cozy. We enjoyed walking around the woods. The sauna house was a dream & so relaxing. The stargazing at night was unreal, we could see the Milky Way & were in awe! Michael & Madeleine were the sweetest hosts, the kind of souls that feel like your friends. Would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in the area!

The cozy living room with leather couches, coffee table, and fireplace was our favorite part of the house.

This getaway was a really nice adventure. Rustic, simple, ingenious. Reminded me of the best of my early outdoor boy scout days. And the Milky Way! And the Big Dipper! (better than on my Kilimanjaro climb) And the water! And the sounds of birds! And the sounds of silence. Definitely for the open-minded adventurous attitude, but for that person, a real treat! Phil was a perfect host...there when we needed him but otherwise respectful of our private adventure

The cottage was great. Just as decribed...better than the pictures. We really enjoyed the sun porch. Peaceful and quite, we went for a fall color trip the colors were beautiful. This was just what we were looking for. We would definitely book agaim.

Jim’s place on the lake was ideal! We spent a week there and we’re about ready to move to the UP. We loved the kitchen and outdoor grill - there were only two seats inside but dinner at sunset in the back yard was by the lake and little beach was priceless! We appreciated the fenced yard for our child; she loved dipping her toes in the lake and watching the birds and boats and it was just a few steps from the gate to the beach. The location is ideal! In addition to being on Teal Lake, it is a quick walk to a pasty & ice-cream shop (better pasties than we had at the award winning pasty place in Munising), right next door do a delicious pizzeria - we got dinner from there the first night when we checked in. Jim was a huge help when the restaurant hours were different on their website than on Google. The grocery store is just up the street and had great variety! We were originally going to stay near Munising, but in the end we loved Marquette so much that we stayed in that area most of our week making Jim’s place in Negaunee even better than expected. Marquette has great shops & breweries as well as an excellent children’s museum and park. Jim was a great host! He met us for check and was quick to respond if we had any questions or needs. The house was clean and well stocked. We love dogs and while our dog stayed in WV, it was fun to see the dog themed art and items around the house. Jim, his wife, & their dog have a wonderful lake house and we so glad they opted to open it as an Airbnb! This stay was ideal in every way!

Beautiful cottage in a prime location, directly on the edge of Farmer Lake! The view of the sunrise each morning over the water was spectacular. Not only that, but the interior of the house was cozy and inviting, with far more amenities than your average cabin. Our hosts were quick and responsive to any questions we had, and they made the whole experience very enjoyable.

It's a great house for perfect vacation! We really enjoyed kayaking in private lake and firepit is great enough for large group. We definitely recommend this for friends abd families.

We had a great time staying overnight at the UP Sunrise Cottages. The host, Angie, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive, even when we had late-night, last-minute questions about checking in. The house was on a beautiful lakeside group of properties, and it was fully stocked with amenities, clear instructions, and super clean, comfy spaces.

Most peaceful place we’ve ever stayed at! Looks just as beautiful as the pictures and was super clean. Susan and Terry were both super responsive and helpful throughout our whole stay. Definitely worth the trip!!

What an amazing gem! Tucked away, but with plenty of amenities that you would fine at a modern, big-city hotel. Great family space, with privacy, but also big family spaces. A perfect fit for our family team in town for a race. We will be back!

We had a great time staying at Nikkis , house is very spacious and perfect for a big family or a friends retreat , kids had a blast , lake is awesome planty of boats to fully enjoy it. Also Nikki helped us connect with a mechanic that could help of with a car emergency over a weekend. We will come back! 6/5 stars👍🏻

we had a great time we felt at home we would stay at the house again. Our youngest daughter is Graduating from NMU in 2027 we will book again. Kimberly was great thank you so much we had a great time.

Beautiful place. We made use of fire pit and enjoyed the house, didn't go out on the lake but that is an option. Very quiet with great indoors and outdoors. Rebecca was responsive and helpful with our questions. Everything worked well. Recommend fall when leaves are changing - so beautiful with the lake, northern lights, and colorful trees. We got lucky and had a few crazy nights of Northern lights. I think the place is as advertised - takes a while to get there but it's very nice and we would stay again.

Really a wonderful place to stay. Plenty of beds for two families to have a comfortable stay. The property is the true standout and we loved having the beach access. Tara was a great host and we loved staying here.

This place was perfect for hosting a family gathering. It was on Lake Superior with a beautiful beach! The fenced in yard was perfect for children or pets…and there was a great playhouse/slide/swing set. The house had two living areas with sectionals and big screen televisions (allowing sports watching in one room and a sing a long in the other). The kitchen was modern and well stocked and included an island with seating. The four bedrooms had comfortable beds. Although there were houses on either side, it felt private and secluded, down a driveway off the main neighborhood street. It was a short drive into town. We would love to return someday!

Oh. My. God. This place! Jennifer’s family’s home is a gem, beautiful and private, cozy and spotless. But the real secret is the surrounding area, Marquette and the UP. We went hiking, canoeing, and horseback riding when it was sunny, and visited museums and very nice restaurants when it was not. The house is gracefully appointed, including the kitchen, and we were easily able to grill and cook for ourselves when we wanted to. I enjoyed climbing the stairs up to their rocky overlook, and sipping coffee, watching the sun climb over the lake. And also cuddling on the couch under a quilt, watching the patterns of rain sweeping across Lake Superior. The house and the lake are of different scales to be sure, but complement each other so well. This is a lovely and clearly loved home, and we are glad we could share it for a short time.
