Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Marouf

I booked the place for its location and it completely delivered on that. It is right in front of the pyramids and I was able to see them from my room as well as the rooftop. The light show was clearly visible from the rooftop and I immensely enjoyed the stay. They helped with a luggage issue I had with the airlines and were helpful in arranging food according to preference.

L’endroit parfait pour séjourner au Caire. Le quartier est central, calme mais vivant. Parfait pour sortir dîner le soir, on s’y promène facilement à pied. L’appartement est chaleureux, bien décoré. Et surtout l’accueil de Martine est au top : nous avons reçu plein de bons conseils pour les visites, les restaurants etc. J’y retournerai avec plaisir si je reviens au Caire !

If your dream it to be close to the pyramids . This is the place right for you. From this hotel you can also see the sound and light show and you will enjoy the beauty from the pyramids. at night is amazing . Strongly recommended

We are very happy with this hostel… great location and great people!!!! Mohamed is always answered all my questions and concerns…. All the guys were very friendly and we felt safe and well cared for by everyone . Our guy guide Ahmed is amazing, he speak Spanish very well and and well versed in the history and geography of the region. Thanks Mohamed and your team for everything!

Som at have et extra hjem. Vi blev taget utrolig godt imod og sådan fortsatte det hele tiden. Martiné er fantastisk sød og mild. Vi nød både terrassen, den dejlige morgenmad, med hjemmelavet marmelade og det gode værelse. Vagterne i hall’en var meget venlige og opmærksomme og bød os endda at smage på lokal mad - en eftermiddag. Egypten har været fantastisk! Det var vildt at opleve, at jeg tabte min pung i en Uber, men chaufføren, kom tilbage med den næste dag og afleverede den personligt.

Chez Martine was absolutely nice place to stay. As I was travelling as a solo woman the area felt safe (to walk even it was dark alreaf) and was peaceful compared to center. Shower had hot water which was nice as it was bit chilly on February. Mr. Nasser was very friendly. what I really liked was the atmosphere, the flat was very specially decorated.

Mo was very responsive, helpful and arranged everything for us in advance. Also provided us with a great guide who took us everywhere and made our 3-day stay amazing. We always felt safe and taken care of and he even took us on our request to places which weren’t in the offical tour. As for our room, it was very clean, had AC and a mini-fridge and if you kept the windows closed you could sleep just fine at night, no noise was bothering you. The rooftop terrace was very nice, especially in the evenings. There is enough shade and there was always a little bit of wind so it was never too hot. And the view of the pyramids was also great. Food selection was also big enough so we ate every day something different for breakfast/lunch. The building itself is located in old Giza and there are horses, camels and donkeys around but don’t be scared off by that - they don’t bother you and there wasn’t any bad smell. So in our opinion price/value 10/10. Thanks again for an amazing stay.

This was a real find! A mesmerizing view, hospitality of the charts and an exceptional breakfast. They had varied meats but I'm plant based and haven't had such an offering - ever! Wifi not great but thats the area not the hotel, data is super cheap so not an issue. Great supermarket and a working atm a few steps from the hotel. Free sunset tea with cakes was a lovely surprise! Im a solo female traveller and long term digital nomad, really appreciated the hospitality with respect for privacy.

This was one of the best Airbnbs so far in Egypt The host was always ready to answer us on WhatsApp, even the dumbest question. The house have an amazing view to the pyramids and the hospitality was even better. Hussein is a super host and can share with you the Egyptian experience. I truly recommend this place

Me recibieron como en mi casa, como si fuéramos amigos de toda la vida, todo el personal muy amigable, la habitación muy limpia y ordenada, una vista increíble a las piramides, volveria a este lugar sin duda, me encantó!. Saludos a kareem habibi!

Very nice location, fantastic view of the pyramids from the rooftop. Sherif is a good host, kind and thoughtful.

La ubicación es inmejorable para visitar las pirámides de Giza y sus alrededores. La habitación fué más grande y cómoda de lo que esperaba y la relación precio/beneficio resultó satisfactoria. Giza es sucio, pero el hotel está por encima del promedio de la zona en cuanta limpieza. La atención muy buena, la gente es muy amable, la comunicación fué buena desde el comienzo. Si viajas de Latinoamérica te recomiendo aceptar la asistencia para el traslado desde y hacia el aeropuerto. Considera que en la calle todos los letreros están en árabe y que la ciudad es caótica. Antes del viaje me parecían un poco costosos los tours que me ofrecieron en el hotel; pero al llegar decidimos contratarlos porque eran totalmente privados con guías en Español muy amables y resultaron de gran ayuda para aprovechar mejor la estancia y disfrutar la experiencia completa. El Tour por las pirámides incluyó además de lo que ofrecieron, fotografías muy divertidas de todo el recorrido y una buena comida. La vista de las pirámides y la esfinge desde la habitación es increíble a todas horas y difícil de mejorar. Lo mismo la vista desde la cafetería ubicada en la parte superior. De noche pudimos disfrutar del espectáculo de luz y sonido sin costo, desde la terraza del hotel, disfrutando de buena comida y bebidas.

A localização é perfeita, muito comércio por perto, vários pontos turísticos nas redondezas que dá pra ir caminhando; O quarto é simples porém confortável, a cama aconchegante e o cobertor e travesseiros são bem confortáveis e quentinhos; há um frigobar no quarto que é bastante útil. Mostafa foi bem atencioso e prestativo, o hotel oferece vários passeios interessantes, o motorista Raaof é muito simpático e prestativo, o carro não é dos melhores mas para o caos do trânsito do Cairo está aceitável; Vale a pena fazer os passeios, só acertem "todos" os detalhes antes, como valores e o que estará incluso para não ter problemas, mas caso aconteça Mostafa ajudará com tudo. Recomendo.

La posizione è ottima, proprio di fronte alla Piramidi. Colazione tipica, buona e fatta sul momento con un panorama mozzafiato! Camera con tutto il necessario e ben pulita, perfetta per un buon relax. Posto consigliato soprattutto per chi, turista come noi, vuole visitare le Piramidi di Giza.

Es el lugar ideal para despertar por la mañana admirando las pirámides y la esfinge de Giza, por las noches es el lugar perfecto para ver el show de luces sobre los mismos. La atención es excelente, muy buena predisposición para todo. La pasé muy bien y, sin dudas volvería a elegirlo.

The place is in an excellent location, very near the center. The room and the service were okay. Mustafa replied very quickly. Just be prepared for the noise, is a very noisy street, but I would say that's a general problem in whole Cairo

Old cairo by pyramids- great views- know you will be in a older area. Learn to say no thank-you and just be polite. Great stay and friendly staff…will be back.
