Welcome to the beautiful Skolestua. The guest house was originally built as a school in 1883, has been completely restored in recent years, and appears to be of high standard. It's a good place to stay! There are good sun conditions and a rural location. Private beach and boat a few meters from the house. The house is located by the beautiful Haldenvassdraget and Øymarksjøen. Your own headland allows you to use the lake a lot. Relax together, swim, fish, boat, paddle kayak or canoe, and go for walks in the woods at this peaceful residence. Canoe and boat are included.

The cabin has a new bathroom and kitchen, one bedroom with a 150x200 cm bed and a 120x200 cm canopy bed in the living room. Extra 90 cm mattress available. Unique experience? Kitchen with fridge, freezer, stove and dishwasher, living room with fireplace and one bathroom. Cozy newer annex for 4 people. Barbecue area outside and fireplace table.

Do you need to relax and hear the tranquility of the forest? Take a sauna, make yourself some good food and drink? We rent out a super cozy, fresh and modern cabin right by the water, the forest and rural. 🌊 The cabin is close to a campsite but in the season this cabin is rented out (November - March) there is no operation at the campsite. There is also a sauna 20 meters from the cabin that you can rent in addition. There are nice hiking areas nearby all year round. 🌳 The cabin is suitable for family or two couples.

Idyllic forest cabin

Steinsborg is a small forest gem for those who are particularly interested. Drive a few km into the woods on a gravel road, and then you'll be there. The cabin is an old forest hut with simple standard, and outhouse. The food is cooked on a gas stove, and a gas refrigerator keeps the food cool. Water is collected in Steinsvannet right below. There is also a rowboat and a canoe that you can use. In here you can relax and enjoy silence and bird chirping. We will take care of the cleaning afterwards. Welcome!
