Beachfront holiday rental in Marinette County

Beautiful place on the water that had everything you could want and need. This place was better stocked than any other place we have ever stayed before. Had an amazing time fishing, kayaking, playing cards in the game room, and sitting around the bonfire. Always so grateful for the dog friendly accommodations.

Beautiful spot- so quiet and peaceful. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Christina was very responsive and made this a very easy stay!

Was advertised at $177 per night. We stayed two nights and it cost us over $650. Yeah, I accepted it because it was the only one in the area that had a hot tub and that is what we were looking for. Decent place but not really worth all the extra fees. There was a dog tie out that could have tripped us at night when walking to the hot tub, maybe need flip flops. There was some dog poop that was around the house that was not expected but to be fair, a dog came by as we were leaving that wanted to say hi. So maybe not the previous tenants fault. All in all, a good place to stay even in the winter.

Very responsive hosts. Instructions to get in were clear. Home is stacked with everything you could need and more with labeled drawers and closets. Puzzles, games, toiletries, baggies, storage containers, laundry options, every kitchen appliance needed for food and drink, many towels and linens. Newer seeming couches in main room were comfy. While it felt like fall during our visit, many options for water activities available. Pup enjoyed swimming and helping us fish off the pier. Nearby corner store gas station has many grocery options, deli, and everything you likely need for fishing, cocktails, and even had a birthday cake. Definitely worth the drive to explore Goodman County Park/Story Falls. Peaceful lake property. Definitely would consider booking again!

Rained the first 2 days but the arcade room and board games kept us entertained when we were stuck inside. Yard is flat so kids played in the yard when it was too cold to swim. Sun Room and Firepit patio were highlights. S’mores stuff and bug spray were provided and much appreciated. On site towels/linens were also great. Had everything we needed. And Larry was very responsive and timely whenever we had a question. Can’t wait to come back!

Me and friends had a great stay! Lots of amenities and the hot tub was so relaxing. The view was great.

Superb location with fantastic view directly on the shore. Owner greeted us on arrival & gave friendly welcome. This continued throughout our stay. Good info provided about local facilities & places. The house is superbly turned out & clean. Downstairs the large living/dining/kitchen had everything you could wish for. The only downside was that lack of laundry washing facilities in the rental, a facility typically provided in a property of this quality/cost. The host did offer use of their private laundry. Upstairs the two bedroom had large comfortable beds, one contained a child’s cot. Large communal/living area (bed settee). Bathroom was great, plenty of hot water & clean towels . Added bonus of a downstairs toilet. Outside was an allocated parking space, a BBQ, rocky shoreline & jetty with seating to watch the stunning sunsets. A peaceful location, fabulous views across the lake & great location for day trips across Door County. In brief, great place, great location, great hosts.

Extremely enjoyed our stay at this lake house - we would return. Views of the lake were fantastic and lakeshore was easily accessible and fun for the kids to explore.

We spent four nights in the cabin and truly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was pristine and offers a lovely, wide view of the bay. Don and Pam have made an effort to offer not only that built-in view, but also front and back yards with pretty flowers and plants. They have also clearly made an effort to offer up a pretty home with many special touches. We appreciated that the cabin was stocked with many helpful items, such as Saran, baggies, coffee, seasonings - all the things you don't want to have buy and then toss at the end of a trip barely used. Plus, we found this area to be a good jumping off point for the entire peninsula and handy to the necessities, such as a grocery store in Sturgeon Bay. We also enjoyed many walks around the neighborhood, which is woodsy and beautiful.

This was a great place and Erin was a great host. The amenities of the space were top notch and I found everything I needed. Especially appreciated the helpful instructions and the local menus. Definitely a great location to visit state and county parks. We loved visiting Dave' Falls!

We had a great time at Porch Time over Memorial Day weekend! The place is right on the lake, which made for a wonderful view. Four of us stayed with our two dogs. The cabin was clean and cozy, and it had everything we needed. The backyard is even better than the pictures—perfect for hanging out, and we loved using the kayaks to get out on the water. Mornings on the porch with coffee and evenings around the fire pit were the perfect way to relax. We ate across the street at sunset grill which was recommended by Scott and was delicious. If you’re looking for a laid-back spot to hang out on the lake, Porch Time is a great pick. We’d love to come back!

Wonderful stay! There was a ton to do, everything was in great condition and working order. My husband and I were able to relax while the teenagers had fun outside with the boats and on the beach. The location was perfect. We were able to golf one morning and we enjoyed time in Menominee. Highly recommend!

The house was amazing, really feel like a healing place and make us wanna stay longer. Just one tip though for some reason the address were given made us have a bit misunderstood and took us about 30 mins to figure out the number was house number not street number. Otherwise this place is big and the view made us feel like it worth the money for us.

Our family had a fantastic time at the Big Blue Lake House. The home is all brand newly remodelled and beautifully decorated. We had 4 adults and 2 children with us and found that the house had tons of room to gather when we wanted to enjoy time together, as well as ample space to find a quiet corner for some self-reflection. The outdoor property is beautiful and the location has incredible views of the river. The children had fun fishing off the rocks and pier; we caught a few perch, bass, and an old catfish under the dock. Each day, we ventured out on the river with our kayaks and enjoyed exploring the river's offshoots and bird-watching. We found the river water to a be a little murky and deep for the kids, but we cruised 5 minutes south to a great public beach where the kids could splash. We also took the owner's recommendation and rented a boat from Oconto Water Fun and had a blast exploring the bay.

We loved the cabin and location on the lake! Originally we planned to do day trips around the area but the kids never wanted to leave the cabin. It was very spacious, peaceful, we had a ton of campfires, swam in the lake. I have no complaints, and hope to go there again in the future.
