Beachfront holiday rental in Maratea

I spend two days at the camping Apollo to visit the beautiful ruins of Paestum. The site is an old fashioned camping. My bungalow was nice. But most of all was the staff very friendly and attentive. We had lovely chats !

Salvatore’s place is a beautiful apartment, close to the beach and the bars, restaurants and shops in the waterfront. It also has a great outdoor living area, which was a real bonus for us. We spent a great 4 mor 5 days here Thank you John and Jodie

Beautiful place! We had a very comfortable and private stay with great views. The place was really clean and had all the necessities. Michele was really helpful, suggesting restaurants, beaches, etc. Loved it!

The host is very helpful and helped arrange transport for us to the airport. The rooms were clean and came with everything we needed for the night. This place was the only one who provided free snacks and water. This was a very lovely touch and well needed after our exhausting day. The one downside, is that there were works going on within the building. It was rather loud during the morning. There was also alot of noise from the neighbours in the night. Not something that can be helped by the host of course. Other then that, we enjoyed our stay

Spacious and clean apartment with very comfortable parking inside the property. Outdoor space in the garden reserved for the apartment with tables, chairs for eating and comfortable deckchairs with sea view. Donato and his mother were very kind, I asked to be able to check in early and there were no problems. Great location to reach the beach on foot in just a few minutes. Highly recommended.

If I could give this holiday 6 out of five I would. Acciaroli is a fabulous place to spend time - we had been before so knew it a little ut could do with 10x the time there. The apartment is perfect for two people and you could not get a better position, right on the beach but easy into town. The outside spaces are excellent and offer a quiet lazy day or evening if that is what you prefer. Parking is so easy ( but make sure no-one parks outside the gate as they did with us a couple of days if you are in a hurry or going for your flight back) (it does say no parking but hey- it's Italy.) We loved it so much we have booked two weeks next year already.

We really enjoyed staying at Villa Venezuela. Sandro checked on us during our stay and also left us a welcome basket which was very kind and appreciated. From the covered balcony you can see the mountains with an unobstructed view of the Maratea Christ Redeemer Statue and on the other side are beautiful sea views. The sunsets are spectacular! The villa is within walking distance (280 m) to a great little coffee shop, Amadeus Lounge Bar, where we had an aperitif and cappuccino. The road is busy but we were not too bothered by it. The house is large and comfortably appointed. We did go to Fiumicello Beach and the Marina but unlike other reviewers we would not recommend walking to either. The roads are very narrow, without sidewalks and are quite busy with traffic and busses. Both had free parking available. We would definitely stay there again.

Lole’s apartment was very clean and felt very new. Very secure. Tastefully decorated with matching blue & white in bedroom, kitchen & Bathroom. Beautifully tiled throughout, with access directly to the pool from the living room. Large sofa & TV (not watched), with good off road parking & easy walking distance to the beach. Lole & family were very kind & helpful. Very interesting area with the temples in Paestum. Easy drivable distance to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Mount Vesuvius & the Amalfi Coast! So lots to see & do, as well a beautiful beach. Definitely recommend & would return again.

Giulia and Guido (the caretaker) are available and present if needed. The accommodation matches the description, in fact there is even more!! In the house there is everything you need to eat, dishwasher, washing machine and clothesline. The sea view apartment offers beautiful sunsets and there is the possibility of walking there through the beautiful olive garden that surrounds the residence of the residence. There is also a beautiful swimming pool with a lifeguard always present! Quiet and beautiful place to enjoy a little well-deserved relaxation!! I highly recommend it with the hope of coming back soon!!!☀️

Edri Beach House was everything we'd hoped for, and was as beautiful as it looks in the photos. The welcome basket of fruit and box of chocolates were a generous touch and greatly appreciated. The pool and outside area were absolutely stunning - it was secluded and peaceful, extremely well maintained, with the barbeque an added bonus. We could have easily spent all our time here. Inside was immaculately clean, and contained all the essentials needed for a family stay, and we felt right at home. Raimondo was an excellent host - he was extremely friendly, helpful and gave several recommendations for things to see and do in the area, including answering questions before and during our visit. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We had an amazing stay here, and didn't want to leave - it is a perfect base to explore the Amalfi Coast, and we'd recommend without hesitation. We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Jamiles home! From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming and kind ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property itself was perfect for our family—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials for traveling with young kids. The location couldn’t have been better!!! and the sunsets incredible... We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you for making our family feel so comfortable! We can’t wait to come back!

It was really spectacular. The house is just beautiful, there are no others like it in the area. It’s very private and secure. You need only take a 5-10 minute walk, there is a small store one way, or a selection of restaurants the other way. The beach is literally a 3 minute walk and is gorgeous. I can’t say enough good things about the hosts. Just a wonderful family, so kind and generous. I am so grateful we found Villa Virginia and we hope to return again. ❤️🤍💚

When we arrived it was out of season, but still loved being next to the beach. Bit of a job finding open restaurants, this is only because if the time of year. Saw enough restaurants getting ready for the season to know there would be lots to choose from. Nina was a great host and extremely helpful. Loved the stay. Thank you!

From booking to checking out Gaetao was communicative and responsive. The place was great and we enjoyed being able to access the hotel facilties. The shuttle was great when we had split activities with our group. All in all we were very pleased with the accommodation, its been a good base for our daily excursions.

Our family had a great time at Sacha's house. it had everything we needed. Sacha was a great communicator, providing instructions and local recommendations. He answered questions quickly. We particularly enjoyed the pool and beach. Great place.

This was one of my best AirBNB experiences! We stayed for one week in the appartement and it had everything for a family of four to enjoy our vacation. Right in front of the house there is a cosy beach where only locals come. The water is clean and inot very deep, perfect for toddlers and young children. There is an excellent restaurant right next to the flat with seafood. And overall the area is nice, less touristy, but with lots of cafes and shops. The flat is big, with two big sleeping rooms with large beds and comfy mattresses. And a living room with a TV and a comfy couch. The kitchen has all you need, and there was even a breakfast kit with some biscuits and jam, tea and coffee, and a couple of bottles of ice tea offered by the hosts. It is so sweet after a long trip to have this small welcome gift :) We were welcomed by Marco and his team. They are very helpful, and were there fo us! We will definitely come again! Thank you for your hospitality

Great experience at Manuela's house, a really accurate and punctual host, the house is a stone's throw from one of the beaches and the quietest places in Palinuro, the center within walking distance . Thanks for everything until next time

Gennaro's place was a true gem, we stayed for almost a week and felt right at home! the place is spacious, clean, recently renovated and has everything needed for a family vacation. Sapri is really peaceful and small, so everything is within 5-10 min walk. Gennaro was friendly, responsive and proactive and gave us local tips! Thanks Gennaro!

We loved our stay at Home Sweet Home—the garden and views are incredible, and it was a charming place overall. Although the gate was initially stuck so we couldn’t get in to the property, Barbara was very responsive and had it fixed quickly. The spiral staircase upstairs and the low ceiling in the bedroom are challenging to navigate, but young/healthy people shouldn’t have a problem in the space. The amenities with constant hot water and heat were fantastic during this off-season. The walk to the Porto is extremely convenient, and we really enjoyed how quiet and private the space felt. It really seemed like we found a hidden gem in Maratea, and we hope it continues to be special and somewhat of a secret!

We loved staying here. The apartment delivered everything as promised and was very charming and comfortables. The deck overdelivers with the view and ample space providing a haven from which to enjoy happenings at the port. Maratea has lots of nooks and crannies to explore. I loved walking from the apartment to the Cristo… challenging but worth the view and spots to stop in town for refreshments. Would love to stay again!

Rossella, the host, is very kind and always available. The apartment is very nice, much more than in photos. The area is beautiful, quiet and perfect for walking in the harbor area, close to many restaurants. I highly recommend having a car or other means of transportation just to enjoy the area due to lack of public transportation outside of July and August.
