My Cute Little House

Set in the heart of Verteuil a petite citie de caractere in the Charente we welcome you to Ma jolie petite maison, a one double bedroomed gite that sleeps 4. The building is over 200 years old and has been completely refurbished in 2024. With exposed stone walls and original fireplaces, lit by vintage French chandeliers and tasteful wall lights, the gite is both cosy and comfortable. During your stay you will have exclusive use of the heated swimming pool and a large Moroccan style barn.

Adorable stone house in historic village.

This idyllic French stone house can sleep up to five people. It has two bedrooms, a large living room with a woodburner, a fitted kitchen with a large dining table and two shower rooms, one on each floor. The rear bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the garden with a ruined abbey and the Charentaise countryside beyond. Outside there's a summer kitchen, a small terrace and a lawned garden. The village has a delightful cake shop, a popular restaurant, artisanal stores and a museum.

Charming two storey stone cottage, in a quiet charentais hamlet with off road parking facilities and a private courtyard. The cottage has a fitted equipped kitchen area with dishwasher in the downstairs sitting/dining room. On the first floor is the double bedroom with shower room and seperate toilet. On the second floor is the childrens room with twin beds and possiblility of third one and cot. The stairs up to this room are accessed by passing through the double room. Shared pool.

Guests can enjoy the Charente countryside, as paths are directly accessible on foot or by mountain bike. The house is in a quiet hamlet, between Jauldes and Brie. You will stay 20 km from Angoulême and 12 km from La Rochefoucauld (15 km from Angoulême TGV station) The house has an equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle), free Wi-Fi and a parking space During your stay, you can take walks in the surrounding countryside. We do not charge a cleaning fee, we expect a contribution from you

"To the stamped rooms"

Located in the courtyard of a former post house, the latter is very quiet and close to all amenities. Bed and bath linen are provided. It is equipped with a small kitchen area, a 140 bed, bathroom and toilet. Close to the national road 2 min, 20 min by car to the center of Angoulême, 15 min to Ruffec. Baby equipment possible. Possibility to prepare a breakfast 10€per person.
