Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Manitoulin District

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at William & Priscilla’s place. We were in town to visit with my adult daughter who lives nearby and celebrate her birthday. I was able to make all her favourite meals in the very well stocked kitchen including baking her cookies & cakes from scratch. There were plenty of cooking pans, dishes, frying pans pots, cutting boards, knives, baking tools, a bbq, a huge fridge & freezer, dishwasher, spices, salt & pepper, sugar, coffee etc. They were incredibly nice and accommodating when a couple of small kitchen tools broke (a whisk, hand blender & can opener all broke during regular use) they quickly came over with replacements and were so lovely to chat with. I felt very comfortable and very much “at home” in this space. It felt like we were staying at a family cottage rather than an air bnb, loads of character.

The Worthington House is a lovely place to stay. It perfectly met the needs of our large, extended family; all of us in Little Current for a family wedding on the May holiday weekend. The house and property are extremely clean, well supplied, centrally located and the hosts did an amazing job at meeting the needs of our family group. Hopefully we will be back someday! Ashley’s place was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect retreat for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. We were traveling with both an infant and an elderly relative, and everyone felt completely at ease and comfortable throughout our stay. The home is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully equipped with all the modern amenities you could need. From the cozy interiors to the well-stocked kitchen, everything was designed to make guests feel right at home. We truly appreciated the quiet surroundings and the attention to detail in every corner of the house. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and well-appointed getaway!

This is an amazing place if you want to take a break from everything and enjoy some beautiful, peaceful days. Mark and Victoria are fantastic hosts—thoughtful, welcoming, and well-organized. They even left some toys in the house, which made our son incredibly happy while playing. Although we were unlucky with the weather and couldn’t enjoy activities like canoeing or kayaking due to the wind, we still had a wonderful time. The house is very clean and cozy, and to be honest, it looks even better in person than in the pictures! Thank you, Victoria and Mark, for being such incredible hosts. We truly appreciated everything!

Christopher’s place is absolutely beautiful. Overlooking Mindemoya Lake, it’s nestled among tall trees and a serene landscape. The entire family are great hosts—very warm and helpful. Aside from the regular hosting essentials, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Greg was especially kind in teaching us how to start a fire for the fire pit, even providing some of their own firewood and fire-starting equipment. They also shared some excellent local recommendations and Sandra gifted our group a lovely children’s book written by Christopher’s wife, which was a thoughtful touch for the kids. One of the unexpected highlights was how incredible the place was at night—perfect for stargazing and astral photography. With minimal light pollution and a clear view of the sky, captured some unforgettable night shots and spent hours just watching the stars. I highly recommend their place as the first one to check if you’re planning a trip to Manitoulin Island.

Great few days at Marilee's place. Ideal location, easy to explore Little Current area and wider Manitoulin Island. Everything was as described and matched the photos. Plenty of space and garden was nice to sit out and relax...and talk to the chickens! Marilee was very easy to communicate with and was always responsive.

I felt at home from the time we entered the property. The cottage was very spacious and had a lot of natural light coming in. The sunroom/ living room was my favorite. You felt even when you were inside, you were still connected to the outside with all the windows. Outside it had a large deck, with a covered portion, and step down you could sunbath. The lake side was amazing, having crystal clear water and paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe. If that wasn’t enough, there was an amazing sauna that also had windows that allowed you to see the kids swimming in the lake. Bridal veil falls and the cup and saucer trails are really close by, which makes this property amazing. I will definitely book this property again.

Exceptional place to stay! Our usual place we stay at was booked. We took a ‘gamble’ trying out this place- and boy was it incredible! The place is pristine and stocked with everything you need. Beautiful surroundings, and we were fortunate to catch the most amazing display of the Northern Lights! Highly recommend!
