Beachfront holiday rental in Maldives

It was a pleasure to be on vacation at MIT’s house. Good house and environment. I will recommend it for families! Manager is very reactive and communication was easy.

Es un guesthouse con pocas habitaciones y un servicio muy personalizado. La habitación es mucho mejor que en las fotos. Muy amplia y con escritorio. Trabajé desde aquí y el wifi iba perfecto. Todo el personal es muy atento. Lo recomiendo!

Had a very nice stay in this guesthouse. The island is not very touristic so you could really enjoy the beautiful beach. Mustapha also recommended some nice activities!

Abdulla a été un hôte d’exception. Il nous a très bien accueilli. Là chambre était parfaite pour notre famille de 5. Le petit déjeuner était bon, la chambre est nettoyée tous les jours et les serviettes changées aussi. Nous avons réservé des excursions avec Abdulla avec des prix très raisonnables par rapport à la concurrence! Une plage à 2 pas et l’autre à 5 min vous pouvez voir des requins dans les deux et nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer deux majestueuses raies manta au niveau de la 2ème plage. Et nous repartons avec plein de jolis souvenirs! Merci Abdulla ainsi que le personne adorable.

Io e le mie amiche siamo state davvero bene! L’alloggio era pulito e la sua posizione era davvero fantastica… A due passi dalla spiaggia! Il personale del Wave Crest Retreat è stato davvero ottimo, soprattutto Kk è stato molto disponibile e attento alle nostre richieste.

Magnifique séjour au Night Star ! Nous étions une famille de 5 avec un bébé d’un an, le personnel était vraiment attentionné et prenait soin de nous. Ils étaient très disponibles et souriant, ils sont venus nous chercher/ramener au port, nous ont cuisiné d’excellents plats locaux, proposé de faire des lessives, informés pour les horaires des ferrys etc… Grandes chambres et parties communes bien équipées, fonctionnelles et propres (ménage quotidien). L’endroit est extrêmement bien situé, au calme, à quelques pas des restaurants et des plages (bikini beach et les plages publiques d’où partir pour faire du snorkelling vers les récifs coralliens). Nous recommandons les yeux fermés et reviendrons avec le plus grand plaisir ! Milles mercis à toute l’équipe de Night Star, nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable.

I felt that our stay at Simna’s place would be great even before leaving our home. I didn’t communicate with Simna but her husband Shabyr contacted me before we departed to ensure we had everything arranged before getting to the Maldives. We arrived early on a Friday morning and Shabyrs man was at the airport to greet us. He collected our baggage, bought us ferry tickets to Male and got us onto the ferry. Due to the season (it was Ramadan) our early morning speedboat to the island was cancelled. The next one was late in the afternoon. Shabyr arranged 2 rooms in Male for us to rest while waiting for the next speedboat and had his staff look after us while we waited. Once we arrived at Bodufolhudhoo Islsnd, Shabyrs staff met us again and took us to the hotel. The hotel itself is simple, pretty and clean with everything required for a comfortable stay. It’s in the centre of the village so there is ample opportunity to mix with the locals. Monil was our chef and coffee master, Kawser was our housekeeper and Mohamed was our tour guide. These 3 men were absolutely awesome - friendly and always willing to help. The island itself is not large - it can be walked around in about 10mins but it has a great private bikini beach, 2-3 inexpensive restaurants to choose from, convenience stores that sell snacks, drinks and personal hygiene prices if you require that. The reefs around the island are amazing and filled with sea life. I would recommend asking Shabyr about the daily meal package. That worked out very well as there was no need to worry about drinks and food - we just told Monil what we felt like eating and he would cook it fresh. I would highly recommend seeing the Maldives this way. It was inexpensive and we got the chance to meet and learn about local life and people. Shabyr and his team get a high 5 👍🏻

I’m a worldwide traveler and an airbnb Host myself. The host team did a great job arranging the seaplane back and forth from Male airport. The pictures of the property didn’t really showed how beautiful this place is. You are actually coming to a super large 5 star resort with many swimming pools, many bars, many restaurants and a lot of activities to do. We stayed 5 nights only and felt at home and like we needed 1 more month to really enjoy and discover the entire resort. All the staff were super friendly on every single place we visited. The beaches are something to remember like a movie postal each one of them. Couple of years ago we visited Bora Bora & stayed in an ocean bungalow there as well, and though we wouldn’t find another gem like that. Well, we all think we were wrong. This place in Maldives surpassed Bora Bora by a mile. Definitely will back in the future & will contact the Host once again for a great & unforgettable trip. Super super highly recommended. Isola bellissima, siamo stati bene e ci piacerebbe tornare. Il rapporto qualita' prezzo e' buono, personale gentile e veloce nel dare risposte. Alloggio con 7 stanze doppie/triple con bagno privato , e' il piu' vicino alla bikini beach, al'inizio della foresta dell'isola, posizione tranquilla ma vicina a tutto. Di recente costruzione in stile moderno, piscina pulita di discrete dimensioni, edificio a tre piani: al piano terra saletta con divani tv e tavolo da pranzo, 2 camere di cui una grande con accesso diretto alla piscina + cucina, un cuoco vi prepara la colazione e su richiesta puo' darvi anche pranzo e cena , al primo piano 4 stanze con terrazzini di diverse dimensioni, al terzo piano 1 stanza tranquilla adatta per due persone (per 3 persone e' piccola) + altra stanza per mangiare+ grande terrazza con divani e sedute, al terzo piano (tetto) grande solarium con bella vista sulla spiaggia, bellissimo al tramonto.Consiglio: portatevi repellenti per zanzare tipo autan tropical.

Our stay at Haneefs was the best holiday ever. We were taken care of 24/7 and every wish we could think of was fulfilled. The locals welcomed us as if we were living there. This was a great way to get to know the life of the locals. The island is a very natural, small island with a nice little jungle and a huge, well-maintained house reef where we could see turtles, small sharks, rays and octopuses right in front of the hotel. You are provided with very good free snorkelling equipment and shown great dive spots. In addition, Haneef and his team offer wonderful excursions, all of which are very reasonably priced and super worthwhile. For example, we were able to see turtles, picnic on sandbanks, explore uninhabited islands and learn to fish with a BBQ afterwards. The restaurant at the hotel is also super delicious and offers very tasty local cuisine, among other things (also pizza, fries and pasta). The two Bikini Beaches on the island are beautiful, next to the hotel and also great for snorkelling. You can also take professional diving courses on the island. We didn't miss anything on our holiday and we made wonderful, close friends. In contrast to the resorts, the holiday is much cheaper but offers similar luxury and above all lots of beaches which are not overcrowded by tourists and great insights into the life of the locals. The excursions are the same as those offered in the resorts, but much cheaper and also more private without large groups of people. We will never forget this holiday and the friends we made will last a lifetime. We will definitely come back and recommend everyone to take a holiday with Haneef in Maalhos. It is worth it!!!

Everything was as agreed, the accommodation is just like in the pictures, with a wonderful view of the sea from the room. Our host, Shaniu, is a great person and was helpful, kind and attentive in everything during the time we were there. Unfortunately, the unexpected stormy and rainy weather put a bit of a damper on the planned programs, but despite all that, we had a great time there. I strongly recommend the place and the host Shaniu and thank you for the pleasant rest, we will go again next time.

Zdecydowanie polecam to miejsce, w mieszkaniu znajduje się wszystko co jest potrzebne. Mazin bardzo pomocny, super komunikacja - ekspresowo odpowiada na wiadomości. Wszystkie sprawy załatwia natychmiast.

Unforgettable Honeymoon! We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with beautiful decorations and a bottle of champagne to celebrate. The place was spotless, with breathtaking views and delicious food. The island also has a clinic for any kind of emergency, with highly professional staff, which gave us great peace of mind. We especially want to thank our host, who was attentive to every detail. Our flight got canceled and we couldn’t arrive on the scheduled day, but he helped us throughout the whole process — from rearranging our domestic travel to adjusting the dates of our stay. Truly outstanding service! We’re leaving feeling so happy and incredibly grateful to everyone. We highly recommend this place 100%.

Pros: Clean and well maintained place. The receptionist is super friendly. The bed is comfortable the shower is nice and the price is very good. Location wise it is a bit far from Bikini beach you would need a ride on the motorcycle from locals or a 15-20 minute walk. It is however near the port. Cons: I faced obstacle finding the place as the location on Airbnb is not the one. And Zakittey was unresponsive on airbnb. So had to go any hotel so they can help me call the guy. When i did, he said rooms are fully booked and you should’ve asked me first and all his rooms are rented on on booking. But the money have been deducted from from my bank account and sent already!
