Cabin holiday rentals in Malangen

We spent a fantastic week in an exceptional setting and a functional and cozy accommodation. A true haven of peace that is very much worth a visit!

This cabin is outstanding, everything was perfect. We had a wonderful 6 days here while ski touring in the Lyngen Alps. The cabin is really well located and it was a total luxury to come back and have a hot tub and sauna to ease the tired legs. It is beautifully furnished, very cosy and the kitchen has all you need to cater for yourself. It was really useful to have use of the washer & dryer as well. Jorgen & Nina are great hosts, they provided lots of information before arrival and answered any queries instantly. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Our stay was just wonderful. The house has a stunning view of the sea that we enjoyed daily. The place was spotlessly clean, cozily furnished, and equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful surroundings and the proximity to nature made our stay particularly relaxing. The host was extremely helpful and made sure we were completely comfortable. We highly recommend this place and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Super place and great location

The four of us stayed with Jenny and Johan for a week. The place was wonderful and we had a very nice time!!! Especially the view of the fjord, the surroundings and incredible northern lights have to be lifted out. The jacuzzi on the terrace was the icing on the cake. In particular, we would like to thank you for the information on how to get there. The street was closed by avalanches and Jenny/Johan gave us tips and information for the bypass. Just great. Thank you!

Having stayed here a couple of years ago already, this was our second visit and again we weren't disappointed. We almost needed to drive the long way round again due to avalanches on the road leading to the ferry but thankfully this time it was running when we needed it and Izzy and Romain went out of their way to ensure we had up to date information on the status. Needless to say, this shouldn't put others off because it's rather rare that conditions prevent the ferry from running. Likewise, the stairs up to the house are quite a workout with luggage but it's well worth the effort. The combination of sauna and hot tub as well as a spacious living area and great view make for a wonderful stay and the Northern Lights also provided entertainment. We made a trip out to the Bivrost distillery but otherwise just enjoyed the house and surrounds. It's a fab setting to just chill and recharge.

Dear Anne, thank you very much for having us! We have stayed at Anne’s house for almost two weeks and with two different companies: first with friends and then with my husband’s parents. We had amazing time both times. The best things about the house: 1. The view is incredible. Having your first cup of coffee with this view is priceless 2. The house is right on the ski slopes. We could ski in/ski out, making it easy to go ski even for a short period of time 3. The jacuzzi is amazing. We used it sometimes during the sunset time and sometimes late at night for Aurora watching 4. You can see Auroras right from the living room and the jacuzzi is really the best for watching them since you don’t get cold 5. This is the best stocked house I have ever stayed at - it had everything. We could really feel that it’s Anne’s second home, not just a rental house Anne is great as a host as well: friendly, responsive and helpful. We felt welcome and had the best time!

Everything super! For skiing the real mountains of lyngen - there is no better place! Wood fired Sauna and hot tube, what can ask more!

I just can say this place is magical, the most beautiful airbnb I had ever been. Extremely clean and a great attention by the host. 100% recommended 🤍🤍🤍🤍

We had an amazing time in Vengsøy! The cabin, the view, and the island were like something out of a Norwegian winter fairy tale. Maria is incredibly friendly and offered us many great tips about the area. She's very warm and welcoming. We did the hike to Hundbergtinden, and it was absolutely breathtaking – we were the only ones there! Vengsøy, the cabins, and especially Maria are highly recommended. We hope to return soon! ❄️❤️

Visited Bente’s fantastic cabin for the 4th or 5th time - we just love the view and the location is very good for ski touring especially in the northern part of the Lyngen area.

Lovely quirky little cabin. Melissa has the cabin very well kitted out. It was warm cosy and comfortable. It was ideal for our overnight stop on the way to Tromso from Lofoten Islands.

We struggled to find the cabin but I don’t think we would have had any difficult if we had arrived in daylight. The host was very responsive and arrived on site within 3 minutes to show us where to go. He was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was basic but just as described and what we expected. It was nestled in a lovely peaceful and tranquil environment. A perfect place for a nature lovers get away.

Five stars are not enough to describe the experience we had at Anton's cabin. The timeless and secluded location, the comfort of the accommodation, the access to the surrounding mountains, everything was beyond what we came looking for at Anton's. I can only recommend living this experience in the great Swedish north!

The cabin is perfectly located in the cabin area, sheltered at the end of a road and with a lovely view. The cabin contains everything you could need to have a great stay, the kitchen is richly equipped, large TV to watch movies in the evening and bedrooms with good beds. The cabin is a great location for ski-in and ski-out and has a large porch with good sun conditions. Recommended!

We had a great weekend at Øyvind's cabin! Plenty of space, nice facilities, various games and short distance to the alpine slope. Nice also with sauna in the evening (although there was primarily room for a couple of pieces). Was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and thought the cabin exceeded the photos😊

Dear Amadeus and Family, we had an amazing time on your beautiful farm. The place is truly beautiful. You lent us snow shoes so we were able to hike some snowy mountains, see reindeer and moose and even the northern lights. Tromsø isn't too far away so we were able to visit some pretty and impressive places like the polar museum or the beautiful cathedral. We really enjoyed our stay especially due to your and your family's kindness. Whether we had a question, were in need of firewood or snowed in on our way to the airport at six in the morning, you were always kind and helpful. You even gifted us some of your farm's eggs, some champagne or soda, just because. Thank you very much! We can really recommend this airbnb. It's surroundings are beautiful and you reach it easily. You can park direktly on the farm. The hut is well equipped and it lacks nothing. There was a snowstorm going on and we were still very warm and cozy. Check in and out were easy. The hosts are very kind. 10/10

We had a wonderful time in the cabin. Eirik was very kind and helped us with everything and gave us recommendations for trips in the area. Highly recommend Eirik as a host.

Loved the cottage. Took a bit to crack the code on water, toilet, sauna etc.. It is important to read the instructions to be prepared 😇 The house and surrounding are lovely. Used it as a base to do ski touring and cross-country skiing in and around Tromsö. Stayed with 4 adults. Would definitely recommend and come again.

The cabin was cute and cozy and the views to the mountains were incredible! Communicating with Anita & Tor was smooth and they made sure that we had a pleasant arrival by setting the fire in the wood stove before we checked in. In the winter the cabin can get pretty cold during the night but the stove heats it up really quickly. Thanks for letting us bring our dog with us, we really enjoyed our stay!☺️

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! It was just as described – cozy, clean and with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was lovely and gave us peace and proximity to nature. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with and we felt very welcome. We would love to come back and highly recommend this cabin!
