A historical guesthouse located in the heart of Grahamstown/Makanda. Conveniently located close to Rhodes University, the High Court, Schools, Museums and Restaurants. Six separate rooms comprising of a king size beds (or twin beds) with their own en-suite bathroom. TV, wi-fi, coffee station and a desk are provided. Guests can make use of the communal lounge and outdoor area. There is also safe off-street parking. A delicious breakfast is served between 7am until 9am.

Under Milkwoods - ideal stop over with breakfast

Under the Milkwoods is situated In a quiet part of Port Alfred, within walking distance of our blue flag Kelly beach, golf course, Kowie River and town centre. The space can be rented out as a double room for a travelling couple or take the twin room as a family unit which then includes double and twin accommodation. My home has an inverter so my lights are never off and I also provide a most enjoyable light breakfast on the veranda each morning.

Ikwanitsha Lodge

Remotely located outside of Paterson, Ikwanitsha Lodge offers accommodation in private atmosphere surrounded by african bush and a stunning view over the Bushman's River. Breakfast and dinner (on request) is served in the bushbar, drinks are available at the bar and can be enjoyed on the spacious outdoor patio. We speak German, English & Afrikaans and can assist with booking safaris & daytrips.

Our bed and breakfast is situated on the edge of the city centre, we are within walking distance to Kingswood College and can provide transfers to Rhodes University. We also provide a shuttle service to Port Elizabeth and East London airports as well as travel to local parks such as Addo Elephant Park or any of the local Game reserves. It is a mid-19th century character home furnished with many lovely antiques and is within walking distance of private schools (15 mins.) and the city centre (10 mins.).
