Good and peaceful place near to Frankfurt. It was walkable, also has a few attractions to explore.

The village location is beautiful, and it was lovely to meet such kind hosts and their very wonderful dog. Simple, straightforward accommodation covered all the basics. Mattresses are on the firmer side, if that’s important to you. So glad we were able to spend a few days here. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at Katja's place was pleasant. The space was clean and well-maintained, with new utensils that made meal preparation a breeze. The surrounding area was quiet, providing a restful environment. The host was responsive and attentive, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. A particular highlight for our young kid were the toys provided. However, it’s worth noting that the apartment is situated on the top floor, requiring several flights of stairs. Overall, a suitable accommodation for a tranquil getaway.

We spent 5 very nice days of family vacation with Martina and Josef. The toddler was busy: sliding, feeding rabbits, petting cats, driving a Bobbycar tractor. There were also books and toys, which we could also use in view of the bad weather. A highlight: fresh strawberries and eggs from the farm. Plus the location: climbing rocks can be reached in a few minutes on foot and other activities are just a short drive away. Disadvantage: The really loud frogs directly in front of the house and the ringing of the bells at 6:00 (after a few days, however, we had already gotten used to it). The place was absolutely sufficient for 5 and a half people, everything was tidy and in good shape. A dishwasher and microwave would have increased the comfort a bit, but of course you can also manage without them. We would gladly recommend Bühnershof and would only wish for better weather for the next stay ;-)

Great experience. The house is as described. Hubert was super helpful giving us information about nearby towns and making us find information leaflets in our language. The house is very spacious and comfortable and equipped with everything you need.

The apartments and the whole complex are beautiful and a very special place. Everyone was super friendly and always had a smile on their face. Thanks to the weather, we were able to have breakfast outside in front of the apartment, through the common area (which belongs to the equestrian centre) you have another option to sit and can enjoy the hustle and bustle in the middle of a super friendly equestrian centre. It was really perfect. Looking forward to our next visit.

Stephanie is a very friendly host, I was warmly welcomed and the apartment is quite, spacious and well organized. Definitely worth it.

The house looks very free and airy due to the elevation and the windows, which provide a lot of light. We felt very comfortable there. For those seeking peace and quiet, the ideal place to relax, perfect starting point for hiking or cycling on the Rhine or in protected nature. If you want to host, you will find plenty of refreshments in the area, otherwise the kitchen of the house offers everything you need to cook for yourself. Shopping is nearby directly at the farmer, the fish master or in the supermarket. We can fully recommend everything and will definitely come back. The contact with the landlady was straightforward and very reliable. Everything looked clean and lovingly maintained. Thank you so much for letting us stay there.

We spent two nights with the two, the area is beautiful and wonderfully quiet. The entire property is well maintained and designed with great attention to detail. The photos don't do the place justice, in reality everything is much more beautiful. It is very clean, tastefully decorated and lacks nothing. The hosts are incredibly friendly and communicative. They make a great effort to make the stay as pleasant as possible and there is a lot to discover in the area!

We stayed a couple of nights at Hedwig’s place and were very happy with the accommodation and the beautiful location couldn’t have been more private and peaceful. Hedwig met us for check in and although we couldn’t speak the same language we got a thorough tour and knew exactly where things were. Hedwig’s husband bought us some bread for the kids to feed the deer which was so lovely. Hedwig recommended a restaurant up the road so we gave that a go and it was delicious. Messages were always responded to very quickly and we were very happy. The beds were comfy too!

My son and I were on a father-child weekend in Franconian Switzerland and stayed with Kathi. The car is super cozy and the surroundings are fantastic with many great nature experiences. Due to the location on the edge of the village, you can quickly reach the forest and it is incredibly quiet. We enjoyed playing football or frisbee on the large meadow and went on great hikes. You can quickly reach all the tourist hotspots of Franconian Switzerland by car and Kathi gave great tips. We can definitely recommend the place!

We felt very comfortable at Johannes'! The location was perfect for a few days to relax:) On recommendation, we also went swimming at the pond just a few minutes away by car. All in all, a super sweet accommodation with everything you need! We have quickly grown fond of the alpacas, perhaps we will see you soon ;)

We had a great extended weekend at Kai's place. The apartment is beautifully furnished and we felt at home from the beginning. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, from the roof terrace you have a beautiful view over the fields, the bed is very comfortable and Kai and Alex are super warm. If you are looking for a place to unwind, it is excellent. We would come back anytime!

The apartment is very nice and well/well equipped. In the kitchen there is everything you need for cooking, and the utensils are in great shape and are in great shape. The bathroom is also comfortable and the large bathtub invites you to relax on a cool day. The lots of wood in the apartment adds to a cozy ambiance. The apartment was very clean and the hosts were very friendly and helpful and easily accessible. The location is beautiful surrounded by nature. You can take wonderful walks through the greenery from the apartment. It's just the thing if you want to relax and unwind. We would visit again immediately and would also like to try the restaurant next time, which unfortunately was closed at the time. Full score! :)

We spent the ninth Pentecost in the Charming Cottage and had wonderful days despite the mixed weather. The house is spacious & well equipped and is located in a quiet corner on the edge of the forest. Justine is very friendly, check-in & check-out worked out perfectly. Highly recommended!

My stay went great, the accommodation is very charming as is the village where it is located. All the necessary amenities are present in the apartment. Christiane is a very kind and available host, communication was very easy. To recommend!

It was a wonderful stay with Susanne and Bernd. The two are very hospitable and helpful. Getting to know her goats, even milking them and watching them make cheese was a very special experience. The apartment has everything you want. Just great.

Great place to relax! The space is fantastic, the kitchen well appointed and perfect to cook a meal at night after a day out. We would have liked some info about the area in English but everything is in German…might have to start learning that because I would love to come back to the area.
