This house is something I would call a hidden gem. A house which is definitely an upper class residence. In an environment which sometimes struggles to ensure steady electricity and water supply, you will find spacious, air-conditioned rooms, hot water, strong and stable wifi, 3 TV sets with Canal+, a kitchen with plenty of equipment to cook whichever meal you'd like to make. All of this in a location which makes it easy to reach every party of Mahajanga within a 15min walk or a 2000-Ariary bajaj ride. It couldn't be any better. What made me truly fall in love, however, was the super attentive, super caring staff on site - security, housekeeping, and technician, as well as the very responsive, lovely, and patient general manager. The entire team takes the burden of such earthly obligations like cleaning or arranging transportation off you ensure that you feel truly at home, that you can concentrate on the main purpose of your visit - holiday or business whatever it might be.

Raffia Home is a welcome sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Tana. The bedrooms are big and beautifully decorated, and the common areas and the rooftop decks are perfect to relax and figure out your next adventure. One of the best parts is the traditional Malagasy breakfast, which is homemade and is a great introduction to Madagascar. Try to make time for a stroll in the bird refuge, and there is also a nearby taxi service. Jessica is a wonderful representative and guide for her beautiful country and was incredibly helpful with our ideas and questions. We wouldn’t have had such a special expedition in this amazing country if we didn’t experience Raffia Home.

as already mentioned after 11 hours of flight and an arrival at 10:30 p.m. with Air France we were happy to go to sleep 10' on foot, and the comfort is standard and the value for money is very good

We enjoyed our stay MR Roger le Gerant did everything to make our stay enjoyable . The house is true to the images. Large and modern with Etc kitchen appliances at our disposal. Small downside on the electricity provided by Jirama. I would highly recommend

I can highly recommend this place. We really enjoyed our stay by Francoise, the staff was always very helpful and nice. There is also a spacious garden and a friendly cute dog, you can feel kind of home atmosphere 🙂.

The perfect place to end my 3 month stay in Madagascar

We fell in love with Andri’s home the moment we entered his gate. The home exceeded our expectations. We travelled all the way from South Africa and we can say that we felt like we were home. He also assisted us with ordering food on our first night and also organised our transport from the airport. The house has a nice backyard and can accommodate a big family. Looking forward to coming back again.

Sophie is a responsive host and very attentive to offer us and share the good places. The house is excellent and matches the photos and has all the amenities. The employees of the house are professional, helpful and help to make pleasant stays.

Villa Salemako located in Maroala, by the sea 30 minutes by Bajaji from the center of Majunga, perfectly matches the photos and looks even prettier and more spacious. The Host Narivelo was available at all times and also gave us good ideas for activities such as the Quad outing, via a contact of his. The staff present on site Mohamed, who is the Guardian, and who acted as a cook for the grills is a person of GOLD, because he is always helpful and available. He provided us with Bajaji contacts, + brought fresh fish, lobster and octopus sellers to the villa to consume fresh. Mohamed's wife, as helpful as her husband, takes care of the laundry. When we left, we gave them gifts and left souvenirs because they made our stay even more beautiful and memorable. Thank you very much to Narivelo and their team on site, it was an unforgettable stay and we will surely return.

Irvan, his family and staff were kind friendly and always helpful. we were able to get a car and driver where ever wanted to go. The lemur park was a great experience. The apartment (in a gated community) was large and well equipped. There was a nice comfortable couch, large tv and comfortable bed. The area has a nice grocery store and nice restaurants in walking distance. Don't hesitate to rent this unit, you won't be disappointed.

We spent 4 days in this very large house well suited for children, no dangerous or very brittle furniture or decoration at hand, toys and books which is highly appreciated. The presence of animals in the garden (turtle chickens rabbit) and the size of the garden made it a very pleasant space. It's rare for our large family with small children to find a secure place for our curious and very lively children! The neighborhood is quiet, it's a bourgeois neighborhood of Tananarive (French high school). The caretakers are very kind, discreet. Communication with François Xavier was very fluid and efficient. We would recommend this listing!

Most beautiful place in this town for sure. Surprised it was available. Water in this town only comes at night so we had to do bucket showers. But that is just because of the town and not the airbnb.
