It was peaceful l, quiet and nice. walking distance to lake and nice walkway around the lake. Shel’s daughter was nice and helpful. Shel was a great host.

I would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay was amazing! Very tranquil and peaceful setting. We were made aware that recent storms had damaged some of the land, and surrounding sight seeing areas. House was comfy, felt like home. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings listening to nature, seeing fireflies, and star gazing. We will definitely go back!!

Quite, surrounding community is good. Far away but close enough for most shopping. Great hosts.

The upper bunk house was super clean and felt like home, Emily and Derek were very friendly and welcoming will definitely be going back, they even went as far as helping get my truck unstuck down the road, haha. 10 outta 10 in my book.

Great place a little off the beaten path. It was quiet and charming place for us to relax at the end of each day. There was really much more than we used this place for but appreciated how much thought our host has put into this place. The sounds of frogs and other summer hugs on the back porch in the dark was so relaxing!

My fiancee, Ana, and I love spending time outdoors and roughing it here and there, so we had the pleasure of staying at Debbie's and Bill's property where the A-frame hobbit house was. We enjoyed a wonderful evening out in nature as we grilled our dinner with the firewood that was available and then enjoyed the fire pit, all of which was in the small picnic area next to the hobbit house. We were even visited by their beautiful dogs, which they do state in their description, and loved having their company as well. :-) The hobbit house was comfy and cozy, especially with an AC unit inside, and the outdoor bathroom and shower were very clean. The experience was very similar to a previous stay at a geodesic dome in Georgia, so we enjoyed it very much. Debbie and Bill were also very hospitable and communicative throughout our entire stay. If you have any questions, ask and they will gladly respond quickly. Highly recommend this place!
