Family-friendly holiday rentals in Madera

I could literally cry with how special John’s place is. We were already staying in Oakhurst and wanted to extend our stay to one more day. We were lucky enough to find John’s home. John welcomed us and made us feel right at home. The house was cute, quaint and nicely decorated. It’s also very private with the beautiful forest in the backyard. We had the blessing to see a few bears in their natural habitat, along with a mama duck and her babies, different species of birds, a creek and some unique trees. John gave us a tour of the home and its surroundings and also shared some cool stories. We would highly recommend this home to anyone and we already can’t wait to stay again. Thanks John for hosting my boyfriend and I.

Great Airbnb. Everything was as described with the exception of the hot tub which was not in service when we arrived. Besides that this a big spacious airbnb, very good for big groups

Robert has great taste on designing his place! You can really tell he put in a lot of thoughts about making this place unique! The cute backyard garden is definitely one of the selling points for a group trip! We will be back!

We stayed here to avoid a long commute to the children’s hospital. It was just 10 minutes away, and the area was peaceful and beautiful. The property was excellent for my children (6 & 8) and they took full advantage of the pool, swingset, and toys in the yard. Additionally, the casita was neat and had everything we needed. The cold AC was welcome on a hot day. Chuck was clear, responsive, and made us feel right at home. Should we have additional visits, we will definitely be returning!

We loved our stay here. We were welcomed as we first arrived and were shown around the property and made sure to know how to use all the great amenities this beautiful home has to offer. The jacuzzi and pool were amazing after a long day of hiking. And we felt at home with this amazing stay.

We had a wonderful stay, with plenty of room for our family of 6. Super clean, and absolutely unique setting in the middle of a large private lot, surrounded by trees with no neighbor in sight. Host was very responsive. Overall great experience.

We had a great time staying at Les’s house. He was very responsive when we messaged him and addressed the things we brought up quickly. You can tell he is a very nice person who cares about you enjoying your time at the lake.

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet, peaceful. Beautiful view from the patio overlooking the Lake. Would definitely return in the future. The family would all go there own ways during the day hiking and sight seeing then return and gather on the patio deck over looking the lake, very nice!

Best Air B&B I have experienced so far Usually a long term renter and all previous hosts were fantastic. This location was perfect for my assignment, quiet, serene and so well built and appointed. Jami is the perfect host with 5 star accommodations

Jami was an awesome host!! I would recommend staying here. She was very friendly and made us feel right at home. The landscape was beautiful and the surroundings were peaceful! A great place to stay if you’re trying to travel to nearby National parks!

To start off, Danielle was the perfect host. She was excellent at communicating and very quick to respond to our excessive amount of questions. This house was as advertised and perfect for our needs. We booked it to host our son's future in-laws family for the wedding week. We could not have asked for a better place. We would definitely recommend booking Danielle's place and hope to book it again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for our group of seven. Everthing was clean and organized. Although we only stayed a few days, we enjoyed the firepit and bbq and the beautiful rustic wooded environment. We also appreciated that the south entance of Yosemite Nat'l Park is only about 30 minutes away. You can tell that our host Heather really cares about her guests having a great stay. Also, after learning that we had left a cell phone in a bedroom Heather got the phone quickly sent back to us. We were so grateful!

We had a wonderful time here for a family trip for my mom’s 60th birthday. Elizabeth was a fantastic host who provided quick feedback and tons of recommendations about bass lake and Yosemite which was very helpful! Couldn’t recommend this place enough and look forward to staying again next time we’re in the area!

What a great place to stay! A very spacious and adorable private guest suite. Close to Yosemite and Oakhurst, plenty of food options nearby, and a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend!

My stay here was absolutely magical! Such a beautiful area, and a lovely unit to stay in with everything you need. Loved seeing the cute little pigs, the big white friendly dogs protecting them and the peaceful river lined with gorgeous trees. The hosts are very responsive and kind. The town of Kingsburg is so quaint and charming as well. I hope to return someday!

The place, the people, the atmosphere, was absolutely perfect. If there was something I needed it was figured out within minutes and yet I felt that I had all the privacy that I needed. It was quiet and VERY clean. It was beautiful and open, and I was completely in my own surroundings and still felt comfortable to come and go as I please. This is a place for families, or couples without children, or elderly couples there’s something for all family situations. you cannot go wrong with this place Robert, Sarah, and Grace have nailed it as hosts

Robert and Sarah's place was adorable. It was homey, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed coffee a few steps from our front door down by the river. Iit was a beautiful setting. We picked Tasty Fruit from the trees. We would love to be back for a longer stay next time.

This house is gorgeous! The perfect environment to relax, but a great location to get out, hike, and experience nature too.

Great place to stay plenty of room to accommodate all of us my only problem was I wanted to watch tv in the room LOL Mai was great at responding and gave clear directions on how to enter the home if I ever return to Fresno I’ll book with her again
