Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Madeline Island

Large, very private spot close to many activities. Responsive hostess made us very comfortable.

Our 2nd time staying-just keeps getting better and better! So nice to have an incredible place to come home to. Jerri has such an eye for interior design and left no stone unturned as far as providing everything you could possibly need or want. Of course as soon as we came through the door we headed right towards the home made treats! An interior designer who is also an elite baker?! Unheard of. The Bakery Bungalow and Bakery Bunkhouse will exceed all of your expectations and the location is PERFECT. Convenient to stores and restaurants and equally convenient location for sight seeing and hiking. We thank Jerri and Gary for taking our adventures to another level. We will be back again and again. Shhhh don't tell anyone about this place, its just too wonderful. P.S. Don't miss dinner at the Iron Nugget.

Had a great stay!! Hosts were friendly and very accommodating! House was clean, exactly as described, and was close by parks/attractions. Was a great experience for my sons 1st time up on the North Shore! 😊

We loved our stay! It can be hard to find an airbnb that lives up to its promises. We were so relieved to find that Scott's place did. The quiet, the view, and the gorgeous interior allowed us to actually relax. We'd definitely stay again.

This comfy cottage will now be our “go to” for any adventure travel to the Ironwood area. We have never stayed in an Airbnb as well appointed or cleaner! Sue has thought of everything one could possibly need. She is a warm and friendly hostess who is extremely responsive to any question or request. The homemade bread and farm fresh eggs were an “over-the-top” addition. She also brought us “warm from the oven” chocolate chip cookies. We could not have enjoyed our stay more!

Our group had plenty of space and comfortable arrangements to make ourselves at home. Centrally location in Two Harbors allowed us to walk around town and access everything conveniently and quickly.

We will definitely be back!

Suzie’s condo was clean. We felt right at home and comfortable. The condo was beautifully decorated. It was close to a lot of restaurants and in walking distance. We would definitely stay at her place again.

An incredible space at the end of a private drive, overlooking the lake. The space was warm and welcoming, literally and figuratively! Loved the front sitting room with floor to ceiling windows to sit and sip coffee and enjoy the views. The proximity to the neighboring Houghton Falls preserve was enjoyed using the trail on the property. Peaceful, relaxing, made use of the large fire pit outdoors with the lake in the background. Close enough to town if you forget something and need to run in real quick, otherwise peaceful privacy to enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings.

Viv’s place was very homey - I loved all the local art throughout the space. Had everything we needed and was clean. Easy to find even after walking from the ferry without cell service. :) On our way out, we already wanted to plan our next trip back to Madeline Island! With the location, I highly recommend bringing your car (as Viv suggested) or at least your own bikes since the rental place closes early. I’d definitely stay here again but would bring my own pillow. The ones provided were firmer than I’m used to, but my partner had no issues! Thank you, Viv!!

Great place to stay! Everything is exactly how it looked in the pictures. Everything you’ll want to get to is within a 20 minute drive! Very helpful hosts!!

Patty and Dale's place was perfect for our weekend getaway! The apartment was clean, simple, cute, and had everything we needed. Quiet, comfortable and a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. It’s off the main Hwy. but still in the heart of the action and walking distance to several restaurants, shops, and the local brewery. Do North was our favorite for pizza, and Vanilla Bean has fantastic coffee and breakfast. The architectural antique store had some unique finds too. Agate Bay Beach and the Two Harbors Lighthouse were just minutes away, which made it super convenient to explore the area. Patty and Dale were wonderful hosts. Communication was clear and timely, and Patty checked in a couple of times during our stay. She was quick to answer questions and made sure we had what we needed. The apartment was a perfect landing spot between our weekend adventures, and the price was spot on. We’d definitely stay here again!

My family and I were very happy with: the location, the great water view from the balcony, the attached bookstore (a must visit), everything you need in Bayfield being within walking distance (including the ferries to the Apostle Islands & the Saturday morning farmer's market), the long list of amenities in the apartment, the cleanliness of the apartment, easily accessible parking spaces, and the quick and thorough responses from the hosts. Some patrons at the bar next door were laughing & having fun a little loudly outside on Friday night when we were going to bed, but the sound machines that were available in each of the bedrooms easily took care of it for us. (Saturday night, the patrons were quiet, but we still enjoyed using the sound machines.) We needed help with the airbed and the hosts took care of it promptly. We would definitely stay here again!

The home was decorated nicely, plenty of kitchen pots, pans, and utensils to make a couple of nice meals. Very clean. Beds were comfortable! Plenty of towels and wash clothes. The bottled water in the fridge was very nice. Appreciated the flexibility of a little later check out. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful property, very clean, close to town and hiking, thoughtful touches. We really appreciated the kids touches such as booster seats and pack and plays!
