Rolling Rapids Retreat is a private riverside cabin that is ideal for couples or solo travellers. Sit on the dock and watch the sunset. Sip a drink by the indoor wood burning fireplace while looking out the window at moving water. Watch the leaves change colour and fall from the trees. Paddle the lazy river in a canoe or relax in the hammock.

Nestled in the woods, just 25 minutes from Bancroft, this 3-bedroom 2-bathroom cottage comfortably sleeps 6. The property is surrounded by forest and is a 2 minute walk to our private river waterfront, that is shared with our other two rental cabins. The house includes a bright sunroom to lounge in, and a fire pit to enjoy while viewing the starry skies at night. Enjoy fishing along the river or using the provided canoes, SUP boards and kayaks. Great internet via Starlink.

Former Algonquin Park post office transferred to this property in 1970 and made into a beautiful cottage. - 15 min away from Bancroft - several beaches around the area - 40 min walking trail on the property - small pond on the property - 2 double beds, 1 twin bed & 1 pull out couch - open concept, loft style. First floor is kitchen and living room area, second floor bedroom and washroom - snow mobile and four wheeler trails near by

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
