Waterfront holiday rentals in Macleay Island

Enjoyable stay in the Valley. Great views back over the CBD from the balcony. So close to a wide range of restaurants on James St and walkable to the river and city. Car park an added bonus. Fitted the requirements of our stay perfectly.

Christopher's place was great. Such a handy location to everything. It was clean, comfortable but most importantly for us it was super dog friendly. There was a lovely private grassed area out the front with a kennel and shade. We could go out knowing she was very safe in the yard. Christopher lives next door, but certainly does not encroach on your privacy...unless you want to have a chat, hes super friendly and very obliging. We would've stayed longer had we been more organised. I'd definitely stay again if the need ever arose 🙂

Great location fabulous views had a great stay here. Host was very helpful and responded quickly. Would highly recommend a stay in this lovely apartment over looking the river. Would stay here when in brisbane anytime.

Selina was a lovely host to meet and greet. Very obliging and helpful. The apartment was comfortable and suited our needs.

Sandra's place is fantastic. Wonderful apartment over looking the Broadwater. Great public space nearby to relax and enjoy. Sandra herself was very warm and friendly and provided essentials to get you started upon arrival which was great! Two things that were exceptional was PLENTY OF TOWELS AND TOILET ROLLS WOOHOO!!! My wife and I spent a few days here and enjoyed an excellent stay. Huge balcony. Useable and practical kitchen, quality gas range is a plus. Large and multiple windows and glass surrounding balcony make for an excellent view. I was impressed with how clean all of the glass was. Compliments to the cleaners. We stay in air-bnb’s 2-3 times per year. This is a good one.

Cute and clean little studio apartment near Roma street in Brisbane. Having the kitchenette is especially nice during a longer stay when you want to cook a basic meal here and there or simply make breakfast in the morning. Maeva was a very responsive and helpful host. The only thing I'd advise others about is that there is only one keycard to this apartment, which for solo travelers or couples who come and go at the same time would not be a problem, but I had a friend join me what was originally planned to be a solo trip last minute, and trying to coordinate one keycard between two independent adults with different schedules was a bit of a hassle. The hassle was self-incurred due to last-minute planning and no fault of Maeva's :) but for those of you with more foresight I would advise that this apartment is probably best suited for solo travelers and couples.

This is one of the best AirBnBs we've ever stayed in. It had everything you could possibly need, a great view, a great layout, a nice building, and a really good location. It may as well be a model for how to run a good AirBnB. The in-unit guide was so extensive and had all of the information you could ever want or need, and the hosts were very responsive and helpful as well. Though the CBD and further up Roma can be a little weird at night, the building is surrounded by police buildings 😅 and is very safe and secure. Honestly the only trouble we had was a roach falling from the AC unit overnight, but it was pretty much DOA and all we had to do was clean it up. I don't blame the host and I thought the unit was fairly clean overall, especially the bathroom. We loved this place and especially loved the shower and the view. We would rebook 100% if we're ever back in Brisbane!

Lindy’s place is always a favourite of ours. This was our second trip and we love this place. Lindy is a great host. No complaints

We had a fantastic stay at Helen’s place! The house was spotless and beautifully maintained — it was clear a lot of care goes into keeping it clean and comfortable. Helen was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect — peaceful, scenic, and close to everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We had a great stay at Peter's place, amazing location lots to do and make use of such as crab pots, fishing rods etc. we had a great time and would highly reccommend Peter as a host.

A wonderful stay. The additional bedroom and bathroom was excellent for us as an extended family. Evie (granddaughter) loved the area for play. So good our son and family could stay and enjoy their own space. Easy to eat together and close enough to go to planned events and activities like Blueys World and the Koala Sanctuary.

Lindy was lovely, excellent communication and nice place. I would book again.

Roger was a great host. He welcomed us with a warm smile and gave a tour of his place. His place is beautiful. The backyard was great to hangout. We also got to pick some fresh fruits. The house was very clean and well equipped. Would 100% return for our next stay.

place was as described. very responsive when we did not have hot water as the gas tank was empty. Henry came to check and assist. although it was quite a wait and had to postpone some of our itinerary, it was handled well. it was beautiful and calm. worth your money for the serenity. thank you Joy and team!

Natasha and Tim are the most amazing hosts you can ever have! They were very easy to talk to, easy going, and even trying to find ways to improve their already perfect hospitality! My brother had his 18th whilst there, and they were very accomodating to such the occasion! In terms of location, it was perfect. Transportation was so easy, and walking along the Brisbane river was a great experience! I highly recommend these two amazing hosts, such an amazing family! Thank you for making our stay amazing!!

Scarletts place is a little gem. Perfectly placed to explore Brisbane. Clean and tidy with plenty of space for a couple.

It is a perfect apartment near the Brisbane river. Everything is wonderful in this nice and clean apartment.

Except for a couple of little things like a leaking shower… everything was excellent. The place, the location and the area.

Lovely place to stay in a fabulous complex. The apartment was a great open space with all the facilities and equipment you could ask for. Communication with the hosts was always rapid and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Really convenient, comfortable apartment walking distance to lots of great restaurants and the ferry. We loved walking along the river with the dog. Would happily stay again
