Holiday houses in Machupicchu District

The attention was excellent, we were given clear instructions, the place was clean, it is close to the train station and the artisan market. Best of all, breakfast, served from 5am and everything is very rich.

Great place, was only here briefly but would have stayed longer. I didn’t fine comb the description that notes towels are not included so something to consider if your traveling light.

Marias cottage is in an amazing location - it's very peaceful and a 15minute walk to Ollantaytampo. It has basic cooking facilities with a great two burner stove. There's no fridge. There is oil, salt, sugar etc. The bedrooms are comfy and spacious with plenty of blankets and a little heater. The bathroom is clean and has hot water but water pressure is a little low. The living area is a beautiful space. Around the house there are some nice walks. All in all a very positive experience- Maria is a lovely host.

Ollantaytambo, a magical land that enchants with its history and landscapes, becomes even more special when enjoyed in a place as welcoming as this. 🌿✨ From the first moment, the warmth of the space and the hospitality of the hostess make one feel at home. 🏡💖 The rooms are spotless, with comfy beds and impeccable cleanliness that ensures a restful rest. In addition, the place is spacious, perfect to relax and admire the beautiful landscapes that surround it. What really makes this experience unique is the hostess, a person with an incredible heart, always ready to help at all times. From guiding you to get there without problems, to giving you tips on where to buy fresh food like bread or how to get around the city. Their attention and warmth really make a difference. This Airbnb is certainly a gem in Ollantaytambo, a space I would 100% recommend for those looking for comfort and tranquility.

I stayed one night before my trip to machu pichu and one night afterwards (I could leave my big bag there). I liked, that it was in a side part of the village. The family was super nice. Bring some time, then you can spend some time with them. I even had breakfast and lunch with them (:

I had such a fantastic stay at Marta’s place! The location was perfect—close to everything I needed and feel at home. Marta and Carlos were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel like more than just a guest. They also shared some really insightful local tips and recommendations that made my trip even more special. I truly appreciated their warm hospitality and thoughtful touches throughout the stay. Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!

Great location and service at the front desk.

Catty’s place is perfect, clean and comfortable. The balcony view was amazing, we spent most time there. There are some bumpy streets to walk, but I wouldn’t trade the location, the neighborhood is quiet, lots of families live around, and the proximity to shops, ruins, and restaurants is perfect. Ricardo picked us up at the Cusco airport and we had a smooth and friendly ride to Ollantaytambo.
