Family-friendly holiday rentals in Machakos

I spent 3 nights at the facility with my family.Good secure neighbourhood,close to JKIA and the WIFi was superfast. Thank you George and Esther for being exceptional hosts. Next time Im in Nairobi and in need of accomodation,I will definately look you up.

Christine was very good in communicating. The house was very clean and spacious. Christine was flexible in having us check in late at night. The property is easy to access and very near the road. I would recommend this house to any guest looking for a house which can accommodate many guests.

This is 3 bedroom apartment, if you’re looking for a place to put your feet up and after a long flight,then this is the place ,good security,walking distance to shopping center ,WIFi is also available if you have work to do and don’t forget a friendly God sent caretaker,he made sure we were comfortable all the time ,I recommend to anyone planning on visiting Kenya

Fletcher and Dickson offer a spacious Bungalow with a lush, well kept green garden around it. We felt well taken care of. The neighborhood is well secured and a supermarket within walking distance. We would love to come back again once in Nairobi!

I said That it was better than Mt expectations but as I've stayed with George and Ester lots of times I know to expect a great stay. But the form isn't designed for such comments. I love staying with George and Ester they are lovely people and are so helpful and friendly. They offer great value for money.

I will highly recommend Bilha's place .Their hospitality is amazing and customer service is exceptional .The place is clean ,well maintained and at a convenient location with security .My guests felt well taken care off and they will definitely be coming back when they are around .

Great accommodation, I highly recommend it. We stayed there for a month before finding a house for our family. Plus points: Angelina's responsiveness and kindness, always looking after everything, the location (practical, green and safe), the size of the house and its interior layout, the equipment, the fact that someone comes to clean every three days.

The apartment is in a very nice and safe neighborhood in Nairobi, close to the UN offices and to public transport. It was clean and comfortable. It's a Walking distance to the supermarket and restaurants. Maggie is very friendly, communicated in a timely manner and was very helpful with our requests. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely stay here again.

Carol and her husband were there to welcome us when we arrived. She had the place well organized and had everything we needed for comfort and functionality. Plenty of water and warm showers were awesome after a long day. The neighborhood was very safe as it was gated, even we had to sign at the gate when we got in. It was quite and clean. It was also very convenient as it was close to the airport.

Vickie's place is great. It's very spacious and ideal for family. The location is very secure and quiet giving you that homely environment you are looking for.. Public and private transport are easily accessible. Vicky and Paul are very hospitable. They were available on call for our entire period is stay. They went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable The treat by the chef is out of this world. I will definitely stay in Vickie's place again and I highly recommend it to someone looking for a home away from home

I can only say good things about Karolina’s Homestay! Smooth collection from the airport (15-20min drive to Embakasi area), a friendly and personal welcome to us and our pets, very secure, clean amenity-filled property and helpful, responsive comms - both before and during the stay. Only wish we had stayed longer! Maybe next time…… Thank you

We were returning for second time. This house is spacious clean and tidy. With the benefit of pool and gym on site. Dorida was great she looked after us during our stay ensuring anything we asked was dealt with. highly recommend the Spur steak house not far from the estate entrance too.

Nancy was there to greet us on our arrival. She is a very nice lady that really cares about your stay. On our last day she let us stay in the apartment until 8pm as my flight wasn't until later that night. The Apartment is a 5 minute walk to the Sarit Center Mall and about 10 minutes to the Westgate Mall or about a $4 to $5 cab ride. Getting a hold of Nancy was easy, I only had to call her twice with questions and she was readily available. The apartment is in a nice modern building with lots of security. The Apartment has just about everything you need and it looks even better than the pictures. Hint - close the windows at around 6:30 pm, including the windows common to the atrium to keep out the mosquito's. After the first night, the mosquito's were not an issue. The high speed WiFi was fast. Only issue was the router would sometimes get stuck and you may have to unplug or reset the router. This fixed the problem every time. We really enjoyed staying in the apartment and it felt like home during our stay. I will definitely make this my go to place to stay while in Nairobi.

Great place great art beautiful grounds. But the highlight is the host Derida who always makes the stay wonderful. She is a great cook and accommodated all our needs.

I spent 5 days at Yvonne's place. The location was great for those who want to experience Nairobi culture and night life! I felt very safe as the building was under security. I was also very surprised by the amazing swimming pool and gym at the rooftop! The apartment was clean and comfortable. Yvonne was very communicative. I would recommend the place, and I might come back!

This is a gem. This place overlooks Nairobi national park and is far enough from the city to think you're not in its business, yet it is just a short drive away. Every morning you wake up to giraffe, gazelles, zebra's and more right out the window. Spectacular sunrises and views. On the property we saw so much wildlife including hyena. Charles and Peter oversaw the house and were always available for any need. Be sure to get groceries early, since there isn't much shopping within a reasonable distance, because of the rough road. It takes about 45-60 minutes to reach Karen. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay. We hope to go back sometime.
